I sold dfs and claws for 85. Best decision ever. Do it. Really? I'm pretty much convinced now. How well does it speed things up?

I'm in love with my claws currently, however, recently I asked the question if I could get 85 herby off 37m. The answer was a shakey maybe. I was wondering, if I sold my claws and therefore doubled my wealth would I be able to afford 85 herby easily, AND be able to get extremes? Maybe 90 herb? What're the chances? If you must know I am doing solely slayer with a bit of dungeoneering to try and haul myself towards a rapier.

Fix'd. Honestly this vote is perhaps the worst thing to happen. It has split the community directly in 2. Those PKers and old school people with rose tinted specs who think they want it back, and those that are crying out for fairness and a No vote. Tbh I love it how when I made a topic on RSOF the other day about the vote being pathetic that all the PKers tried to justify it by saying they never get updates and are basically JaGeX's [female dogs]. Maybe they are and the PVM community do get the better deal out of it all. But this is a completely game changing decision that only works backwards from where they are now. Personally I never played old wildy, I didn't even have the internet until 2 years ago as parents didn't want it, or need it. But from everything I hear from my friends who played with old wildy and free trade and from here I can only see it being bad and quite frankly as someone said in one of the very early pages - being the death knell for runescape showing that JaGeX have lost the war against bots and RWTers. I also find it funny that so far even though there's been perhaps every 7 out of 10 topics on the RSOF against it, no one and I repeat NO ONE has gone so far to say - We pay we say, unlike the PKers who continually tell us to shut up. Free trade yes, I'd be fine with, it'd be nice. Old Wildy? Get stuffed. I lose all shreds of respect for JaGeX if this vote goes through.

Currently I've come back just to get myself obsessed with Slayer (that was a given, going to happen thing) and Dungeonerring (anyone that knows me well should know this is a ":o SHOCKHORRORREALLY?! :o"). So with this recent obsession with wanting to get my dungeoneering up to 80/81/85 (these are the levels by which I'll hopefully have enough tokens) so I can buy me a Chaotic Rapier for slayer. So I need to ask, when Drazhar44 gets 65 and stops dungeoneering with me, how long and how many solo C6 med dungeons will it take for me to get to 80/81/85 for me to get a CR and is it possible between now and 5th Jan?

Also just currently thinking - What effect would this have on selling tabs of slayer loot, or MTK stuff? All that kind of thing.... I don't think I can be bothered to stand in an area with hundreds of people calling out at once trying to find where I can see my items :S

Same, the whole thing with Cataclysm. Think someone's REALLY scared of Blizzard now. I mean, dungeoneering, exp weekends were the start, but now this whole "oh do you want old wildy back?" and this trailer. Screams only one thing that they're losing the battle. The fact that at the top it says "up to recent updates" and at the bottom is says "up to contact us" And the fact that he says "Jagex will exercise the right to keep Runescape the way it is, which implies that they already made up their mind no matter what and therefore the vote is just PR. Calling fake on this.

625k votes so far :D Be realistic. When you factor in the fraud and multiple votes we'd be at around 150-175K votes maybe even 250K. NO way in the world would it be 625K votes for if this whole system where you can put anyones name in and vote, and blanket vote etc. It's fraudulent and a disgrace which is what will mar and tar jagex for their 10th birthday. But now they have done this they have to follow through. Every 1 in 5 topics in the RSOF is about how people are quitting if they don't bring it back, however when you look every 3 in 5 topics are people complaining about no no vote and that people can sign for you anyways, and then the last 1 in 5 topics are the general ranters trying to justify it and in the process insulting people, flaming and trolling. I found it surprising reading through that the lucid, gramattically correct, well written and structured topics and replies are mostly on the complaints for the lack of No votes. Yet al teh wel writted replys r on da 1's 4 da wild comin bak r leik dis. Personally I don't care, doesn't affect me. If they bring it back then I'll mark some penguins off my week, and I'll stop doing clues. Not too big a deal. And free trade does nothing but cause havock. People will get hacked and then instead of having limits and perhaps being able to limit the damage to your account everything will be gone in the blink of an eye. My 2 pence.

We've now worked out that the timing should roughly be between 4PM or 5PM GMT on world 99. We shall start at Thurgo's hut, walk or tele to the monastery, then walk or tele to cooks guild and finally tele to watchtower/yanille home and head to Octarine's house for fun and games. Hmm, guess it's back to slayer then for a while and to sink some money into prayer tbh.

I recently got 80 herblore whilst I was at uni and half playing, however I really would like to get extremes. I have about 35M to play with really and was wondering if perhaps I could get 85/88/89 herby with that money and what amounts of each pot to make for a lifetime supply?

I do believe the course of events will lead us from Mudskipper point, where I shall get my 99 smithing (let me hear a hooray? :D), on to the monastery where Octarine will get 99 Prayer (let's hear a huzzah? :D) and then finally to the cooking guild for Drazhar44 to get 99 Cooking (let's hear some violins shall we? :P I jest! Lets have a yays!), then to Octarine's house for refreshments and fun and games of your choice! Anyways, the three of us would love you all to come, we'll be pestering the HYT chat too throughout the day and before the event.

Stood at the entrance to the cyclopse area and it's swarming with people... Also seen about 10-20 people with dragon defenders in about 5 minutes.

Actually, I think they were adding a reward for doing all the different activities in the guild. You might get the mask from doing that. Or you might need a mask to do it? Just an educated guess? Surely they would have the character without the mask if you can get it without? I dunno... Seems logical though that the DD doesn't come easy.... Getting tokens is too easy, having it on the scale of droprate like the other defenders is too easy, so even if there's like 2 maybe 3 spawns per world (crowded first day anyone?) I'd say you may NEED the mask to fight it. As I said - Educated Guess.

I know that a few weeks back I made a topic about making 55M to get to 85 herblore, however when I got to 90 slayer I didn't expect to make as much profit as I did. I can get to 85 herblore fairly easy. Also I have sold my D Claws as I feel that using the money as a contingency fund for smithing come xmas time (incase my assists don't cover getting to near 99) and slayer (always like to have 10-20M to make sure I can buy supplies for a level), that I can get back the money through slayer easy enough to buy them, and that Korsai's sword is currently devaluing them ALOT. This therefore now leaves me with a 62M cash pile and enough Irit (unf) and eyes of newts to get to 80 herblore. I was wondering..... What herblore level should I get to? Should I just get 85 and then have a bit of fun with super antis? Or should I splurge a bit more and increase my slayer speed by getting 88/89 for extreme attack and strength? What do you guys think? My RS time is significantly cut down though atm, and so my goal of 93 slayer will not be realised until xmas at the very earliest.

Well than that's sorted! It's basically Dan + Me that need to get our money/assists/effigys now. Personaly, if I get my assists in every day until I break up on the 17th, then I'll have near enough 99 smith, maybe couple hundred K off. Dan has money/most bones for 99 prayer now and is waiting for me. And you now can get 99 herbeh! :D Route would be thurgo (he's epicest), run to monastery, and save the equal best til last by running from monastery to tav :D
