smithing help
reading fail =D> =D> i feel you paid no attention whatsoever and just blabbed the first thing that came into your head he WANTS 69 smithing how can he make addy bars then? and mith bars loss is hardly noticable for the xp gain (less than .75gp/xp) Are you always so caustic when you post? It doesn't make a very good impression at all. OT: Cannonballs work very well if you have something to occupy your attention. If I recall correctly, each full inventory takes 2.47 minutes. Including the time it would take you to run to the bank, you should be able to make 2160 cannonballs an hour (from 540 bars), netting you around 13.5k xp/hour and 48.6k gc/hour. Not great, but not too bad for something that requires minimal attention.

Ever been muted for something so dumb...
Can't call someone an idiot without getting muted.. good way to keep to your words.. "Gratz, you've earned a spot on my ignore list" is often enough to convey your displeasure and release your frustration. Whether you actually put him on the ignore list or just pretend not to hear him is up to you. You may even bait him into using profanities, at which point you can report him.

The Start of being a member plz help (Btw i am a girl)
I'll go against popular opinion here and recommend you do not wait to become a member. Beyond the extra content and faster xp gain, training spots in P2P tend to be much less crowded and the people tend to be more mature (ie, you won't experience the glut of preteens playing on free accounts). At a mere $5.95 a month, it is very much worth it.

smithing help
I recently went through the same thing, though I started off from 55 smithing. I mined mithril and coal in the Mining Guild, superheated, banked, and smithed mithril bolts. Save up the money you make selling bolts, and by the time you get to smithing 68 or 69 you can start buying mithril bars for smithing: you'll be losing some of your hard earned money, but getting smithing xp a lot more quickly...think of it as the sprint at the end of a marathon.

found new why to get ramdon events
Interesting find, but not something too many people would enjoy. Too many randoms have useless rewards, and some are just annoying and/or frustrating (eg, Molly's evil twin). If I did want to get more useful randoms, I'd go Hunting.

Ban Appeal
So, the lesson learned is: don't ignore noobs, they have the power of 'report abuse'.

can you get banned for saying ass or hell
Learn to condescend without resorting to insults. Better yet, use the ignore list and move on to fun activities within the game. Runescape is rather well designed to allow players to remove annoying players from their gaming experience. The only thing this game lacks is a visual block, so I could unsee the fools 'dancing' and giggling about it like pre-pubescent girls.

Merchant Clans: Genious or Folly?
Genius? Hardly. Clan buy-outs and price manipulation are the tools of those not clever enough to become successful merchants by themselves. I don't consider them 'wrong', but I do find them laughable. Those who are able to successfully merchant on their own are deserving of respect for not resorting to the silly antics of 'Merchant' Clans. Edit: Before someone accuses me of envy, let me make it clear that I do merchant, and make a regular ~10% profit on a daily or bi-daily basis. As I said, it's not difficult.

What has Jagex done to the economy?
I'm disappointed (but not really surprised) that no one mentioned the competitiveness of Runescape itself. The MMORPG market has evolved greatly since the initial launch of Runescape Classic. Today, even the most poorly implemented free MMORPG has some form of centralized marketplace to facilitate exchanges. Anyone who has any decent amount of playing experience now comes to expect such features. The Stock Exchange. The Shanghai Composite even has margin limits similar to the G.E. (as do several other I'm not familiar with, I'm sure).

At what point should a F2P become a P2P?
I became a member as soon as I was able to determine that the game was worth the money. That was, if I recall correctly, on my fourth or fifth day of play. Did I "waste my money on f2p skills"? Hardly. I completed Wolf Whistle at combat level 25, and actually got decent use out of the low leveled combat familiars. That is something very few people get to experience, sadly (...and the reason low level combat familiars are seen as useless...most people have outgrown them by the time they gain access to the skill). Besides, $6 a month is a pittance. The immediate benefits (better playing environment, less crowding at skilling sites, etc) were more than worth the membership fee.

Quickest mining exp?
Depends on what you're willing to sacrifice for speed. I never went the iron route myself, since I found it to be too wasteful and more likely to lead to burn-out than more profitable methods.

Im an idoit
To build upon that: the Bank PIN is there for a reason. Be sure to have it set up well in advance, so that if this situation ever happens to you, you will not need to stress over it. I thought the PIN would be a pain in the apple, but I set it up anyways. Turns out it only asks you for your PIN the first time you bank after a log-in. After that, you can visit the bank without having to enter your PIN.

Why Would People Train?
Simple. Don't make it a grind. So don't have to glue your eyes to the sreen in single-minded devotion to one task. Some suggestions to make your training less tedious: - Engage in an other activity (on another window, another computer, or in rl) that doesn't require too much concentration and allows you to keep an eye on your training - Multi-task. Don't just go out with a single narrow goal. Set up a few secondary or tertiary goals as well. For instance, you can train Slayer, collect charms for Summoning, and collect bones for profit at the same time, accomplishing four goals at the same time. Not only is this more efficient in the long run, but the Slayer xp and charm/bone drops are little marks of achievement that help the time go by faster - Bring a combat familiar. Messing around with the whistle button and using scrolls will make the combat more entertaining. Even without playing around with those two features, you can monitor your familiar, make him attack a different target, or even compete with it (see who kills their target first, gets highest hit, etc). - Chat with friends, clan members, or random people training in the vicinity. Basically, if you are grinding in boredom, you are doing it wrong: you are doing work instead of playing a game.
