Just finished the game on veteran, then got Mile High Club after about an hour. I hope MW2 has such well thought out achievements.

They respawn after a set time. They're fairly easy to destroy but the problem is that other people on your team just ignore them. With a team effort they can be brought down easily. If your on your own its harder as the driver of the tank will instantly target you if you either pull out a bazooka or approach with satchel charges.

There are 4 tanks on 3/4 tank maps. Also there is no limit on how many can be controlled by a team, the Russians can use the German tanks and vice versa. Only Hardcore and Search and Destroy don't have tanks I believe. Tanks really screw up certain modes. A few months ago I went on and played some Ground War, and in the War game mode you can literally park your tank in front of the objective and constantly spawnkill. Without actually playing the game you can't understand how messed up they are. The second day the game was out I got a 26 kill streak in a tank with ease and I could have gone on longer if the match hadn't ended. A few days later I got a 32 kill streak.

Apparently if you look closely at the footage you can see the option to pick up a gun that says "w/shotgun" underneath it, implying that underbarrel shotguns will be an attachment.

Of the whiney WW2 hating people. Neither me nor many others had a problem with the game being set in WW2, and you are wrong to perceive that as being the reason why COD4 is regarded as a better game.

The Battle of the Bulge (1965). Good, but overlong. After 2 and a 1/2 hours you start to get a little bored of Panzers rolling over hills. I was impressed with the action scenes for such an old film, and it must have cost a fortune for so many tanks.

These were probably my two biggest fears for the game. Now I have pretty much no doubt that MW2 is going to be better than COD4. A little worried about this. Hopefully it won't work in a way that will unbalance the game, e.g. someone has "Pro" Juggernaught, I've just prestiged and have only the normal Stopping Power. "Senior Super Douche". Good on Robert bowling for speaking out against Treyarch's bull [cabbage].

Frankly I don't consider anybody who's top of the hiscores heroic in anyway. But Durial just for sticking two fingers up to Jagex and going on an epic rampage, and Queltar, for providing very detailed, helpful, and credible guides, which must have taken a long time to make.

I liked Timothy Dalton, its a shame he only did two films. I like Daniel Craig, but I think he was let down by Quantum of Solace which is nowhere near as good as Casino Royale. Pierce Brosnan was good in Goldeneye but I didn't like him in any of his other films, especially Die Another Day.

They can bring them back to life if they want but it will add up to a story without any credibility. Maybe they will be in flashbacks but I doubt it.

I guess you missed the end of the game right? Because you saw Griggs get shot in the head as he was pulling you to safety, and then Imran Zakheav (sp?) walked over to Gaz and shot him in the head with a Desert Eagle. As the game ended you saw captain Price being given CPR by a Russian, and it looked like he was pretty much dead.

[hide=What?][/hide] 4 or 5 years ago games looked a lot better than that. :lol: But if you're happy about another half assed port to the Wii than be my guest. It must be nice being a developer and knowing that people will make all the excuses in the world to cover for your crappy port. It is better than nothing. I'm sure the gameplay is still good, so it doesn't bother me. I still play old games with similar graphics, so why whine about this? The crap graphics are going to be detrimental to the gameplay. The two can only be seperated so far. The gameplay isn't going to be nearly as good as on the other versions. 10 player games, no voice chat (Treyarch have confirmed both 10 players and no support for Wii-speak), probably both a handful of game modes and no patching or any other support after release. As it looks so far if you buy this game Activision is stealing your money.

Gaz does the SAS narrations, Griggs does the USMC narrations, Sgt Kamarov does the Spetsnaz ones (strangely), no idea on the Opfor.

I've seen some guy go 61-8 with the W1200 before. It was in Ground War Domination on Backlot. My team were awful and were getting killed really easily because we could only spawn on one flag.

Has anybody ever actually seen anybody win Takeshi's castle? I swear that laser thing at the end is rigged.

I really think he's dead. Griggs is dead, Gaz is dead, and as the game ends you see him being given CPR or whatever; I think Infinity Ward would have made you, Soap, the sole survivor. As Soap is now a captain I imagine he's going to be giving the orders and there won't be anymore higher. Hell, quite possibly he was made up to a captain to replace Price. It seems IW have got a thing going now for wierd hair, first captain Price's beard and now Soap's mohican.

I told you it would be like this. You cannot excuse this by simply saying "its the Wii its not as powerful". The Wii can still do as least as well as the PS2; all PS2 games looked better than that, apart from rushed, crappy rip offs like this game. I'm also willing to bet that the draw distance will terrible as well, which will ruin a lot of the sequences in the campaign.

I took it that you couldn't use a gun at all and need at least 2 people working in tandem. To be effective your going to have to move slowly which means you're an easy target for a grenade. I can see it having it's uses in game modes like headquarters where your defending a static point.

It really does, there is no plot, and the only exciting bit is in the cliff cavern. To be fair to the film that was a good sequence, I felt the same about the battle between Dumbledore and Voldemort at the end of the 5th film. Great special effects, its just a shame that the films seem really rushed, that and the fact that Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson can't act. I mean I know theres a lot of material to compress down into the films but there was a hell of a lot for Lord of the Rings, and they still managed to turn out 3 fantastic films.

If you don't plan on getting live then definately get a PS3.

I'd say 1. Look at what your friends have got. 2. Look at the exclusive games and decide which ones you like the look of more.
