In COD terms semi-automatic = 1 press of the trigger 1 shot fired, so all rifles apart from STG, and PTRS-41, though it haas a delay after each shot. For fully automatic weapons, i.e. everything else, the gun fires until you release the trigger (or reload, unless your a box ammo tard). For bolt actions your character has to cycle the bolt, expelling the cartridge and loading a new one before you can fire.

They're automatic weapons.

Well as an example I managed to land 8 kills with an airstrike, on district of all places, the host and half the team rage quit and I was abused in the lobby for being a noob.

Sniping is using any scoped weapon, apart from telescopic sights. You can snipe how you want, it's still sniping. You don't have to be 500 feet away. You don't have to have camouflage. People will work out where you are anwyay from the killcam. Camping in one place the entire game is a bad strategy. One shot kills are necessary to be ammo efficient. Stopping power is not always necessary but with the terrible sniping weapons on WaW it usually is. The only exception is no-scoping which is a different thing entirely. And yes second chance is screwed up on hardcore. On core I just knife them on the ground like dogs but on HC they can down you before you can rework the bolt.

I think Microsoft and Sony are about equal this year with Nintendo lagging behind.

The PSP MGS looks good. Apparently Kojimas actually involved in that unlike Rising.

Well they have the game that preceded it so they're essentially one up if it is multiplatform. It looks like a prequel, so players will probably want to know what happened to Raiden in MGS4. But yes you're right Microsoft will probably have bought some kind of exclusivity.

Hopefully it wont result in Microsoft going down the child freindly route like Nintendo.

meme, I know you never said you never snipe. I say you snipe on the run, which is much different to sniping like a traditional sniper. Which is what I am, and that's why you dont know much about sniping (on the wii version anyway) once again you fail, i do snipe for challanges.. im sure you havn't gotten 150 headshots of all of them, have you? Yeah its obvious Microsoft to get that. No Kojima and no Snake makes me skeptical. New motion camera looks great as long as Microsoft don't go down the Wii road with it. We don't need another family console with no appeal to serious gamers.

Actually this could work out well as the price of UMDs will probably drop.

I've only got a problem with it if it renders the old PSP completely obselete. It shouldn't, because if developers stop releasing UMDs and switch to downloads it shouldn't problem. You'll just have to buy more memory sticks.
