  1. Hasn't this been answered? There shouldn't be a need for bumps. EDIT: Melee training is pretty straightforward in F2P: Try searching the AoW for F2P melee training guides. Sorry, I thought more people would grace me with their input, without acting like a jerk. I must have been wrong. Also, I did check the AoW, which you clearly assumed I didn't. All anyone talks about is the SoS, which I believe I stated wasn't effective, due to my 1 defense. Awesome community (y) I'm going to let your unnecessary retorts slide. Bumping isn't looked on highly (btw). As I said, Melee training is pretty straightforward. There's only a couple of enemies that would be worth the time to train on at 1 def... A way to go would be: 1-10 Atk/Str -- Chickens 10-30 Atk/Str -- Cows 30-40 Atk/Str -- Monks are a potential, but you can fill this slot with something similar. 40-60 Atk/Str -- Hill Giants 60... Atk/Str -- Flesh Crawlers are good for the long haul.

  3. Hello all, I have recently returned to RS, and with it, members. For the first time in a while, I'm returning to cb, and I would like to try to earn money doing so. I tried a bit of barrows, but that wasn't really my cup of tea--is there anything worthwhile I can kill/hunt with 99 mage? Or with other stats? Many thanks.
  4. I was actually referring to across the course to 99, not gp/h. Fishing isn't exactly the first thing to come to mind as high gp/h.
  5. Fly Fishing (and Barb. Fly Fishing) are easily your best bets. Although, I would do rocktails at some point, at least for a little bit. They rake in quite a bit of money and are AFKable in the right spots.
  6. Hello all, I'm looking for a new skill to round out, and Crafting seemed like a good skill of choice. The problem is, getting materials for a good method seems tricky, so my question(s) are: What is a good way to raise crafting, from 66 on? What is a good way to get materials for it?
  7. You can easily quadruple the daily investment (75k), more so if you get good items from nests, etc. fix'd :D
  8. You can easily double the daily investment (75k), more so if you get good items from nests, etc.
  9. I highly recommend completing the Miscellania Quests and doing MTK. Every day that you don't have an investment in it, you're losing potential money. (It also does not require a huge initial investment, maybe 1-2m, and you can always take some out if need be) Other than that, stick to herb-runs and your dailies, and then slay, TT, or whatever else you enjoy in the in-between time. Good luck!
  10. Hi all! I have just reached 99 wc (which wasn't even really a personal goal) and I've been looking at raising my smithing level for various purposes. If, for some reason my siggy doesn't work, my Smithing level is 55--I would like to raise it to at least 75+, with a maximum budget of 50m for whatever I can get to. What method should I choose? I prefer speed over cost, btw, but please include any reliable methods. Thanks in advance for all help! :D
  11. I would suggest Rocktails, but that's what I did. It is barely lower than fly fishing, and quite a bit lower than barb fishing, but (even though Fishing is really bad cash) that extra gold adds up, plus Rocktails are amazingly easy to afk, unless you choose not to safespot.
  12. Excuse my ignorance ;) This seems interesting enough, I'll have to try for more stones...construction/fishing/wc so far
  13. Some people underrate Rocktails; I used them 92-99 and never regretted it. ;)
  14. Well, didn't accomplish much today. I'm getting close to leveling 4 skills, about to hit 90 woodcutting(one of my goals for February), cleaned out MTK today for a little more in supporting funds. Probably not going to get to play much tomorrow either, work will keep me busy through most of the evening. I'm considering working towards 99 Woodcutting, but I'm not certain yet. Either way, I'm hanging on to my trusty D Hatchet. :D
  15. Alright, for a very long time, I've prided myself on having identical melee combat stats (Attack,Strength,Defense,Hitpoints,Prayer), but with my recent leveling, and Mage and Ranged following suit, I have been wondering what an ideal balance for these stats should be... So, my question this time around is: Should I continue to balance myself? (If I follow this route I will level all combat stats except Summoning to 80.) Or, is there a better way to do this? Should Attack or Strength take over as my highest melee stat, or something else? Thanks in advance! ;)
  16. Well, I'm finding myself taking a similar road--one I've been on for a while in the world of Runescape... Absolute randomness. Eh, I like it though, sticking to the same thing gets a little dull, so I went and trained some random skills today. [+1 Construction, +1 Woodcutting, and +1 Summoning (No Cb lvl yet)] After burning through a large amount of my cash pile, I'm considering grinding prayer again...but that's the fun part, I never know what I decide to do until it just sort of...happens. 99 Fishing was completely spur of the moment, maybe the same will happen with Woodcutting? Regardless, tomorrow's guaranteed to be something different. :D
  17. Basically, it can be: - When a seller of an item adds additional items that have little individual value or worth in order to increase the amount the buyer can pay to buy or borrow the item. [For example, selling a whip for 4m by adding the whip and 600k worth of unstrung bows, while the buyer pays the 4m in gold]
  18. 1) Do curses actually drain slower than the "normal" prayer set? 2) Are there any particular cons to using the curses set? 3) Using a POH Gilded Altar in Yanville, how many bones can I run per hour?
  19. As stated in another post, I am about to begin combat again, on a budget of 55m. I was wondering, should I get a zgs, a bcp+tassets, or something else all together? Thanks for all help!!
  20. Yep! Just remember your bones, tinderbox and marrentil. ;)
  21. I have no armor at the moment, but for all considerations I have 52m.
  22. Hi! I have not trained combat in a long time (5+ months), and I plan to start training it again, however I don't know where to go, what to take, etc. In case my signature is unavailable, I have 76 attack/strength/defense/hitpoints and 75 prayer. All help is appreciated!
  23. I had come to the understanding that teaks were outdated with the new Woodcutting updates? EDIT: A runner? As in, you pay someone to load logs for you?
  24. I have recently completed "Nature Spirit", and a particular step was quite misleading to me. I had no idea I was to attempt to enter the grotto--the option doesn't even appear for it unless you position the mouse on the hole. I had looked at others' problems with figuring this out as well, and felt that this needed to be mentioned. A (possible?) sample fix: It's a small issue, but I know it has cost me and some other users an unnecessary amount of time.
