I agree, but at least it's something. It honestly looks like KOTOR but with real people running around with you.

Never. If I ever do anything I will eat a Clif builders bar or powerbar before I go to the gym but never anything else. I try to stay away from pre-workout supplements, they just seem un-natural.

You can still burn in tanning beds. The best way for you to possibly get any color is to simply apply sunscreen with a medium to high SPF rating.
-
I tan naturally, tanning in beds is feels weird to me, I've never enjoyed it the few times I have used tanning beds. I lay out about once a week to maintain a light tan just so I'm not ghostly white or develop awful tan lines. Tans on other people, I don't really care, some people look great with tans other people don't need them.

I have a Mac laptop and a Windows desktop PC :P Fancy! I think may bootcamp, I want to play SWTOR so bad!

Tripsis, I know your a mac users, so how are you playing the game since it's windows only? Are you going to use bootcamp or do you have a PC you're going to use?

I've never heard of it but after watching that trailer, I'm sold, it looks like an exciting epic PS3 multiplayer needs.

Mlbfan13's 20 greatest hip hop albums of all time

I don't try to hate but I found it funny you say you hate on "mainstream" but the greater majority of your artists/ CDs are very "mainstream" pieces of work. Personally though, I don't know if I would come up with the same list, but I can respect it. -
Did that marker stay? I put it down and then thought better and deleted it but... apparently not. I moved it to Paris anyway. You have to feel sorry for any sportsman that finishes second three years in a row, especially in the manner he lost yesterday and after the controversy of last year. No it's there! Yeah, I felt bad for Andy, I really thought he was going to win it this year especially after he made that move in the Alps and won that stage. I really hope he gets it next year, though. He deserves it. I was really happy for Cavendish, I always love watching sprinters race, always get's my adrenaline going just watching them.

Got a little laugh from the Andy Schleck marker. :) Shame, he didn't do so well on his time trail today, was really hoping he'd win the tour this year. As long as Cavendish wins the green jersey though, I'll be happy.

After a bit of backtracking to figure out what I could of done I realize at some point I went to turn on Time Machine and by doing so encrypted my external and had set a password despite deciding not to actually use Time Machine since my external already had all the files I really need and now it can only be opened in Lion.. This is what Apple is showing me.. I'm thinking, because creating a virtualizing Lion is appearing to be a bit more complicated then expected so I'm looking at doing a clean install of Lion, and try to undo whatever I did, then once I get everything worked out, install SL again. I've got myself in a bit of a mess here ha, but at least by the end of the day I should have everything all sorted out. :P edit: Finally got everything, back to normal.

Did a clean install of Snow Leopard, but now all my backup data on my external can only be access on a mac running 10.7 or high so I'm trying to figure out a way to virtualize lion to get my crap back.. I feel like I'm going to be at this for a while.. :wall:

I just updated. Unfortunately my disc drive isn't reading my Snow Leopard disc (my superdrive is basically shot, only reads about 1-5 CDs) so I'm downloading a torrent of the disc image and am hoping I can boot that from my External. The features of Lion are nice, only downside is if I want it all to run smoothly I'll have to max my memory out and I'd rather not spend the money.

Yes, I went ahead and turned off 'natural' scrolling. It might be nice with just a touchpad, but it's confusing otherwise. The Library is hidden by default now. If you want to unhide it: chflags nohidden ~/Library/ I was able to find the library fairly easy to change my dock again. Currently I'm not having issues with the resume on start up as it's appearing to eat up my system memory and draining my battery twice as fast. Do you know how to permanently uncheck the "Resume windows when logging back in"? edit: Is it possible to downgrade back to Snow Leopard?
-
I went ahead and upgraded. Always forget I have a modified dock until I upgrade to newest OSX. Didn't like how it changed some of my settings around like icon size, and the whole reversed scrolling is going to take a bit to get use to along with the rearranged nav bar in finder with how it displays drives at the bottom now. Mission control is probably my favorite new feature as of yet.

How much are you trying to spend?

I do have an iPhone but it is majority inconvenient to have to grab my phone and whatnot. The intentions of getting the GPS is immediate short term gain but could serve useful over several years as it takes me to learn the city/state.
-
Not sure if I will yet.. It's tempting to stay up-to-date but I'm also iffy about the whole iOS integration into desktops and how that will play out. I also plan to get a new MBA or MBP after the next refresh since my current MBP is getting up there in age getting a little sluggish in it's performance.

I moving cities here within the next week or two and I thought I should look into getting a GPS to help get me around until I learn the area. I went to bestbuy.com and saw they're having a special back-to-school sale tonight and they just happened to have a couple of GPS on sale the Garmin nuvi 1250T and the TomTom XXL 540SGPS. From a spec list they basically look the same, so I was wondering from anyone that has used either one of these devices their opinion on them? Would you go for the Garmin or the TomTom?

Oh yeah, I didn't check it again, looks like Wongtong put it on there for me. Cheers bro! HOW DID YOU KNOW Btw Stevepole, you should edit the OP to say that if the only way to edit the map is to PM your email address. If they don't feel comfortable doing this, just leave a reply with the location where you want a marker.. etc etc Added! Good suggestion.

Oh how I knew you were going to be the first person the announce this here. :P Still waiting on my invite. <_< If I wasn't going out of town I would shoot my email right now but if I don't get my invite when I get back I definitely am.

You're only focusing on the extremes variables there. 1-3 beers is very casual drinking and also doesn't mean that he is always have 3 beers every night like you bolded. Also when he refers to going to a bar it's only probably only a few nights a week like one or two. I don't know why you have such a negative view on drinking, but it's not as bad as you make it out to be.

I've been seeing put up a lot recently on some sites I visit. There are a lot of really unique ones out there that just kind of make you stop and stare for a minute. -
Your liver is only [bleep]ed if you're an excessive drinker. A beer or two here or there isn't going to kill you.

I'm thinking of picking up a couple Hemingway novels, any suggestions? I've never read his work before and feel it's something I need to do.
