It really isn't, it is very easy to do with a decent mage level. Try Damis at 37 prayer and 1 defence, I guarantee you you'll be dead.

KQ isn't really worth it. Verac has great bonuses with prayer, it's mainly for extending prayer I guess. If you just want to tank get Torags. Guthan's IS very useful in fight caves from what I've heard.

Dclaws are still really fun to use in minigames and such so I don't think they'll take more than a 5M hit.
