I was f2p until cb 60-70 until i got membership and heres what id recommend: 1. Get familiar with the game, like be able to find your way to falador, lumbridge, varrock, edgeville and draynor without a map from any f2p place. 2. Reach atleast 40 in all combat skills 3. Finish the quests Dragon slayer, Restless Ghost and Ernest the Chicken. 4. Fully understand how The Grand Exchange works. Money arent that important cause you will just end up spending it on all the new items you find (i did it :(). Once you become a member i suggest you get familiar with the member areas then start making money and get good gear for training.

The only use INGAME for the rune battleaxe is a cheap alternative to a 2h for range/2h chars.

80/40 is a better idea IMO.

Nice char, and yes. 43 prayer is worth it. both to speed up training/farming cash and protect from pjers.

Im personally going 40 def and 85 ranged on my char, later getting 70 def when im 95+ range. Range tanks really shine nowadays IMO.

I cant pk at my level, i will wait for 70 range then ill get a g maul switch so i can make some money of targs. My point is ways of making money when not training or pking. Im currently thinking about wc or fishing. i dont want to do MTK or farming.

Hello, i got membership on a new range pure of mine yesterday. I started out with 500k in member (54 ranged) and now im running low on money (150k left). So what i wonder is if anyone know any good ways of making money on a 1 def pure (except for green drags, pure ess or any form of mining/merching :)) I preffer making money through skills so i earn exp while making money. Im considering either Fishing and Woodcutting and i cant decide. Other ideas are also welcome.

The late price rises is insane, if you want an item its a good idea to buy it asap then keep it. I personally made a couple of mil off the inflation but i still dont like it cause now the items i want are worth 10m more.

I think the prices rising is sooooooooooo STUPID. People like me that arent rich and can't bother nolifing all the time have no chance anymore to get even near good gear. Ive saved money for a year now (currently working my butt off in lumby swamps) to get a bandos godsword that have gone up 100% in price (it was 14-17m now its 25-28m), im still gonna go for it but i will have to waste all my hard earned money on a sword just cause jagex did a dumb update. I feel Jagex is responsible of this and should give us back the boss-drops in pvp, the only way to get rid of 76k trickers is having mods banning them on sight in the bounty worlds. When i pvp i see people EVERYWHERE spamming "Looking for 76k partner!!" and so on. Its disgusting that they can chant that and make money of it while jagex wont do anything about it. They can easily put 1-2 mods in each bounty world at edge and ban people who are either asking/offering 76k tricking or actually doing it on sight. SOmething must be done before RuneScape becomes a overpriced game where the ONLY way of affording your usual gear is 76k tricking. Ive always hated Jagex for their dumb updates but this is one of the worst ones so far, they are practically ruining the games economy.

Im currently in need of some info for my range tank ive made recently out of boredness. The tank is 52 range, 43 hp and 40 defence atm and have done Dragon Slayer. What i wonder is what level is good for going to bounty worlds. Also, what level of range should i start using 2h for? ive got 40 str and atk right now and i will gain combat levels if i make them higher right now.

The Rune Defender is the best shield item for training. Period. All other shields are specialized. If you replace your defender with a dragon square, you'll be severely downgrading. OK, cause i think that Defender gets a bit old. Jagex really should add some good shield at lvl 70~ def that are cheap (1-2M).

Only thing new in F2P is graphics, rest is just the same old plain boringness :) You should invest in P2P, its much better ^^

Im back from a 2-3 month break from RS and when i logged on i leveled 78 defence. Then i went to GE and sell my current gear (torags) which i got 300k profit from when i bought it a couple of months ago then i looked for shields on GE and it struck me that there arent any shields avaible at a low price except Dragon SQ Shield. Is it worth it to do legends for dragon sq and have it for training? ive been using defender all the time for melee combat for 2 years now and it gets pretty old ;)

Because you're that pathetic, and cant play a game called RuneScape. Agreed, 76k tricking is just dumb and removes the fun from the game.

Aviansies gets really boring after a while so trying different stuff all the time might keep you non-bored :P

Im personally not so much up to date with all the updates but the new visuals for whip and scim on HD is really hot.

Why would you want/bother to get 99 agility? Well, on-topic Brimhaven is OK all around for training from what i know.

You shouldnt whine, tbh you got pretty OK rewards. Ive barrowed quite alot and i havent gotten a single barrow item from the chest and ive always kept my KC on double digits.

Just keeping track of prices of all common items like whips and so on is good ways to make money, i made 500-600k from buying just 1 fury when the price crashes then when it went up i sold it then the price went down a bit again and i bought a new one. Voila, profit. But whatever you do, dont use any of those merch clans. they are idiots, i lost 1m when merching with them my first time cause they dumped the items 3 weeks before the designated date WHEN i werent even at home. jerks -_-

Personally id do SS and Full melee void + super sets at Ape Atoll. The exp should be pretty nice and you wont have to worry about dying with dharoks.

I got a similar problem when i search for a name on GE, click the item then it auto double clicks and the GE windows closes down and my char runs away from the GE. this happends alot and sometimes it takes me 1-2 minutes to actually buy an item, last time it happened almost broke my desk out of pure frustration, LOL. This really needs to be fixed or innocent furniture will suffer.

Full black d'hide, rune defender, whip and your ready to go. However they hit very often so you might have to go bank alot. EDIT: theres stairs in the tower, lol.. The Agility ropes are just short-cuts.
