I went throught the first two mith melee really easily, Karamel couldn't hit me, Gelatinnoth Mother was a little tricky but still easy and Culinaromancer was a walk in the park.

He uses super str pots so that doesn't really matter, watch me get flamed cos I "dissed" str. :lol: Dfs wont increase your exp/hour. Training slayer would be better though.

At the moment I am spending all my cash on crafting and cooking, so I am not rich but thanks anyway. I will try all of them. :

I only need a few of each, they won't be my main source of exp. Thanks again. :

That is a bigger contradiction than what JAGEX said with the added bonus of an unoriginal idea, which I think constitutes as RWT. Forcing people to buy membership in order to buy a cape or whatever else item they decide to bring out. I think JAGEX are doing it the long way round, instead of bringing out an idetical item for f2p and make a few new npc's, they are going to make something brand spanking new that does exactly the same job as skill capes. :wall:

I bet your not happy at the news that there will be a new f2p skill, when you are so close to maxing :lol: Maybe you can be the first to max that skill.

So you want crap stats? Spend all that time to get a (whatever the item will now be) and you get crap stats like that, I think members get a raw deal with the stats we get now but making it longer to get a 99 and giving them worse stats when they do seems like a crap deal. JAGEX say that the f2p is the full game and members is just an expansion to it but then they say that basicaly you shouldn't get a 99 in f2p cos "I don't think its the best possible experience for our players to grind away repetitively at the same content for weeks on end." But they then say "We are looking at other ways of recognizing our RuneScape Hero's both Free and Members alike" so I don't know what there thinking, it seems to contradict it's self.

You offering an example of something that is more stupid, well that's a bit stupid. You'd get your point across just by clarifying out what you meant. I thought what I said was clear enough, apparently not. There saying it would be wasted exp but if you get a 99 before you have completed all the quest arn't you wasting that exp aswell? I was showing that it wasn't the most stupid thing, which is wasn't. Not knowing who JAGEX is more stupid than what I said. No offence, but your arguments suck. There are other reasons why one would do quests other than the miniscule defence xp they'll get (probably less than 200k for completing all the quests)... I personally do quests to either get access to new areas, for new armor/weapons, or as a prereq for another quest which gives me greater rewards. I never look at the xp awards.. When it comes to training a specific combat skill like defence, there are no other reasons as to why one would do it besides xp in that skill (e.g. defence). But you're right about one thing - he's made up his mind, and is thankfully [for him] not using the inefficient controlled method of training, so there's no more point in bumping this thread. So why the hell did you bump it then! :wall: In a recent poll I am pretty sure more people cared more about the exp rewards than anything else. I gave my view he didn't choose to use it end of topic, all you have done is bump a dead topic and insult me so well done. =D>

I just don't see the point of messing about with crap stats to make them even worse.

If the level 3 poisons the 138, super pots, while wearing everything to increase his attacking power, while the 138 has nothing on or doesn't fight back then he may have a chance. It seems you think armour plays no part in this, which wierdly enough is what thread is all about.

Well what about the quests he has yet to do which give defence exp that exp is going to waste, as is alot of exp when people get 99's before they finish all there quests. So it isn't 1 of the stupidest things you have read, some body asking what is JAGEX is more stupid.

Yeah, (with the "h") I didn't say they were exciting, I said they were going to happen. The new skill could be awesome or it could be the next firemaking, who knows.

Not all ;) I just rather see not much changed in f2p since many "upgrades" f2p have been getting weren't much of an upgrade in my eyes ;) I just always keep crossing my fingers hoping they will only change p2p. just something that's bred into me ;) Well your getting a new skill and I read that JAGEX wants to update f2p more so unlucky for you I guess.

I assume that means your a "JAGEX fail with all updates" person then.

I don't think it should be a priority but JAGEX have the habit of bringing out 3 or 4 updates out at the same time.
