How should I deal with them? Does trapping them behind jad and tanking them both still work?

So healers are now like the dark core at corp, or something? If so does this mean tanking them is no longer the best strategy? *is confused* I really wanna beat jad after like 5 tries where he always killed me lol :P

Is it worth it with my levels? 86 att 86 str 86 def 89 hp 89 range 76 prayer 96 mage No ols, claws, chaotics, etc. I am on a slayer task so I will be using my fsh. I suck at pray switching and I'm hoping this will give me an edge to beat jad (this will be my 5th try) My setup:

Well really the highest one you can use (Kuradal) gives you fastest xp I believe. My personal general melee slaying outfit: Fsh Quest cape Fury No ammo :P Whip Guth plate Rune defender Verac's skirt Barrows gloves D boots W/e ring is best for situation (Warrior's or Fero) Inv: Korasi's sword for specs Slayer gem Cannon Yip pouches Summ pot? 1 monk (No pots :P) Other advice: Block whatever tasks you hate. For example I hate skele wyverns because they are slow, so I blocked them. I like that steel drags are simple, so they are not blocked. I personally have never received a mith drag task; I've only killed 2 (1 for fremmy diary and the other because I had enough supplies left over for another after killing the first one :P) Kill ~20 aquanites before deciding if you want to unlock them.

Umm, the whole game was designed to use a grid system. The original DeviousMud had tens of thousands of grid squares. That was just southern Misthelin or something...Now I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex said that RuneeScape has billions of tiles...it makes it easier to handle since it's less the server and computer have to worry about, your position. If they made it possible to use a wasd system, first you'd have to get rid of the tiles and make it like WoW type movement...would take forever...

I don't know about anything else, but I can tell you that it is very easy to get CoG--I got it in ~15 minutes I believe. It should be even easier for you as I was at a very low level when I got it.

Then you likely shouldn't melee them anyway. Well melee is faster than ranging and I don't want to mage because of the expense, etc. /topic, I've gotten my answer. Thanks everyone!
