Actually, the solution to that one was "feed it stuff that blows up."

I try and figure out what happens, then usually end up blowing stuff up regardless. First thing I'm doing next session is booting up the grenade-test simulator again.

Captain, do I have permission to continue designing defenses and weaponry of various and dubious use, reliability, and distributional abliilty?

I've already decided on what course of actions is to be taken. That's comforting. Can we know? inb4 I get locked in a paranoia asylum

Hmmm.... Imagine a drone covered in plasma grenades set to remote-detonate....

I like this idea - also in regards to turrets. Put the tranq turrets first, then if something manages to get rid of those, have the actual firepower come in.

I'm thinking best-case scenario is that the first guy was delivering Jen's payment, and that the second was an ex-boyfriend or something from before Jen was a crewmember. Worst-case scenario is that they were both spies/scouts/hostiles in general. And I think I'll leave further reasoning on this matter towards the Captain. Edit: Oh, the payment was wired? In that case, change the best-case scenario to that they were both acquaintances from off-ship that meant no harm to neither ship nor crew.

....I am now more suspicious than ever. And this is what I get for missing half the session. <_< So, timeline of when we were around Europa: Probe gets beamed down. Someone sets up turrets in the transport room. A japanese fellow gets transported onto the ship and shot down by the turrets. The japanese call us and say "dude was insane, soz, can we have him back?" Now, I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and saying he was just going to say hi to Jen, but I'm still suspicious. Verrrry suspicious...
-
Space
...Does that include the ones in the transporter room? If not, I think the Japanese are more hostile than we'd think; and the whole "dude went insane and ran into a transporter" bit was a coverup.

I was under the impression that it was a space probe that was to be landed on Europa to take readings, but that's basically all they told me. Oh, and not to tell anyone that you don't completely trust. Hence why I didn't tell anyone. So you trust the Japanese fellows on the ground who don't tell you anything about the 2kT thing you shoved in the cargo bay besides that it's a probe that takes readings more than the people who would be saving your sorry ass if the ship ever got in a fight. Gotcha. For all we know, it was taking readings of our ship and the rest of the crew in case we ever become a threat. "Oh, what's that? You joined an alliance against the Japanese? Well, we know exactly where your engines and crew quarters are. Bye bye now. *laserdeath*"

The way I see it, Jen basically was delivering 2kT of cargo from someplace to Europa, then was paid at Ganymede. No major harm done, besides not informing the rest of the crew. However, the AI speculates that the missing 300kT of cargo was stolen during the first transport - that is, when Jen received the 2kT of materials to be delivered. So either Jen sold off some of our cargo on a mission for the Japanese, or the Japanese who used us as a delivery ship hired some very untrustworthy delivery people.

Do not throw the arrow which will return against you. ~Turkish Proverb Arrow =/= stun gun. And fine, I'll stick with plasma crap for now.

Stun Baton... or Railgun.... Next project: Stun Baton Launcher. For when you need to stun someone, but you're too lazy to get up and walk the 2 meters to do it manually.

As nobody currently has the role of navigator, I request to fill that role.

Oh, now I get it. Okay then. Oh, and Archi - if you can plan the earlier sessions on Tuesdays/Thursdays, I can show up earlier. If they remain on Monday/Wednesday/Friday, though. I'll still probably end up coming lat(er).

 And Nex, I honestly don't see fiddling with the AI and testing a total-ship-lockdown without warning the crew first as a reliable thing to do.

I request that this position be denied. He's already gone essentially beserk with ship-lockdown, I don't want that happening again.

-The first one will be difficult, as that data has been erased from the AI and we are currently in orbit around a different system far, far away from that one. -AI has a cargo count, you just need to ask -We're slowly doing that, mostly in the form of personal upgrades for the crew, devised by the crew -ISS is our ship, correct? Earth alreaday said he's working on drones to assist him in doing that. So that's covered. -That needs to be done. Captain, I kindly request the position of secondary tactical officer. -We were working on a defense network? What is this?

My conclusion from the last page: Dusty is captain We need to forbid people from locking stuff, as it usually only happens during petty personal disputes (or when Nex decides to be a douche and continually lock the whole ship, then unlock the whole ship, then lock, then unlock - repeat indefinitely <_<) We are the most unstable spaceship crew in the history of mankind
-
Space
And by then, I'll have enough weaponry to destroy the ship at will prevent more crap like that from happening. Besides, the AI would never let me destroy the ship.

Only other trolling I really do is in the Tavern. And there, it's RP-trolling. Like plasma-nuking a simulated jungle until it's on fire and everyone dies.
