I think the only way that can be done with actual live kittens is with a !!Kitten Zerg Rush!!. Or beating stuff to death with it in adventurer mode. Now, dead or sculpted kittens... that opens up a whole new realm of dwarven stuff. Like building a massive kitten statue, then collapsing it on top of a goblin ambush.

I need an idea for something to do in Dwarf Fortress. Suggestions are welcome.

Pls L2Read. I said the Str Bonus comes close. The speed also comes close. Did I say they were exactly like Knives? No, I did not. Knives will end up being more cost-efficient by far, simply because they are faster. Faster weapon means you have more time to make money to make up for the knives you lost, and then some - as opposed to taking longer to get the same amount of xp with a sling, and not having to earn money to make up for lost supplies. So yes, str is very close. But when factored in over even a moderately small scale, like, say, 10k range xp, the speed is different enough to count. Different enough to make the Sling inferior by far.

Honestly, they could've just implemented a way for low-level players to easily regain them, and the prices would deflate on their own. No need for more price fixing. Also, chatspeak in topic title is a big turnaway, especially when it's seemingly randomly stuck onto the end of the title. I mean, I could start a topic called "Soloing Bandos For The Low-Level Player" or "Soloing Bandos For People Who Sux at Life and get LOLed at by pros - ROFLWTHBBQOMG". Which one do you think would garner more traffic? (On a sensible forum, not the RSOF.)
