So... I remembered that I'm better at drawing than I am at writing. Which isn't saying much, considering that I'm so out-of-practice in both that I currently have the drawing skills of a monkey, and the writing skills of tapioca pudding. I guess I'll try putting the story in both formats, then see which one comes out better.

Not if you have a masterwork catapult covering them while they go "WTH a trap?!?" And if you're really good, it'll be several masterwork catapults.

Catapult and a row of green glass spiked balls or some other modded-in green glass trap weapon that has a massive number of hits. Because when you have a set of 10 glass balls screaming towards you, each bound to hit you i think it was 6 times before you can move away.... one of them's bound to injure SOMEthing. So wounded goblin passes out, and is picked off by catapult. Problem solved. All you really need for defense is a sandy volcano and a narrow passageway.

So whaddaya think a legendary one could do? Masterwork catapults with legendary operators.... =P~

...Seriously? Just build a catapult, point it at the edge of the map, put a stone stockpile nearby, and set the catapult to "fire at will." He'll hit Legendary rapidly.

And my modem died for my ground-lin e internet connection that I use with my other computer, so.... A big FU to my school for requiring that crap.

.....I hate how this computer hates Imageshack. I mean, really? Also, only 1 page of /FG/ happened while I was asleep. I am disappointed.

Goblin ambush killed my only military dwarf before I could get her any armor. Oh well. I now have a random hauler being trained up into the military. And my modem decided to completely die on me, so no pictures of my fort until that gets fixed. If anyone wants to see a picture of the description of the epic platinum flute (I think it was a flute...), there's one on the Bay12 forums. Oh, while I was typing this, my legendary jeweler got possessed. And claimed the workshop that I had built outside of his burrow.... Looks like I get a gem-based Planepacked now. More goblins to feed my traps, I guess...

One of my current Dwarf Fortresses is basically ordering a crapton of every gem known to dwarfkind from the caravans. Will then use said gem to essentially Planepack a masterwork platinum instrument. Will be pretty epic; will post a picture here when I get it done.
