  1. inb4 Jaffy is Pepsigirl
  2. *popcorn munch* Really, this topic is freaking hilarious. Both before and after we switched to the topic of he-who-shall-not-be-named and that-what-happened-to-him-that-shall-not-be-mentioned.
  3. That it does, that it does....
  4. I made a failcake. But it's still delicious, so all is good.
  5. ....Oh dammit. Everyone get the pregnant jokes over with now before Dusty gets a chance to make worse ones.
  6. Gotcha. Guess I'll have to learn to switch boost prayers whenever I switch weapons then, shouldn't be too hard.
  7. Okay, I'll try TDs as well. Are boost prayers required there for maximum potential, or am I okay just using ovls?
  8. Jen vs. the Air Elemental. Woop woop. Lynx, the leaves and branches in that are absolutely beautiful. The owl look like he could use a bit more shading, and a little glistening in the eyes to make it look as though he doesn't have black holes instead of them. The wings could be made a little bit more obvious as well - they're usually a slightly darker shade than the rest of the owl with shading. Shading in pencil is usually quite easy compared to in pen - you can just do a lot of little lines of varying pressure, smudge the pencil a little bit, draw a bunch of dots - higher dot concentration makes it look darker.... absolutely TONS of ways to shade with pencil. And given the leaves, you already seem to be pretty good at that.
  9. So frosts are still good, even without a yak?
  10. Alright. I'm poor and want to stop being so. What's the fastest moneymaker for me with these stats and ~11m initial investing money? (I already have a fury, and can sell that and some gear if necessary.)
  11. Funny links on sites. Don't click them. If it's too good to be true, it's probably too good to be true. etc. etc. etc.
  12. True, but imageshack now requires an account to get the direct link of an image, and I assume Lynx does not have one. Not if you know your way around the right-click menu ;)
  13. At first I thought it was a fish. Then I realized it was kinda sideways. :P
  14. I didn't say we'd keep playing on IRC. I still need to decide whether or not we stick with IRC or board play, since the vote ended up tied.
  15. Nah, it just has to be Tavern-related somehow. Even if it's "I don't want to share this with the rest of the forums." ...*sigh* If you want the rest of the forums to see it, post it in the Gallery board. If you only want the Tavern to see it, post it here. Also post it here if it's relevant to a game in the Tavern, regardless of whether or not you post it in the Gallery.
  16. Session ended. People's Inventories sans what they have equipped: [hide=INVENTORY!]Jen: Familiar (S3) Beam (S5) Passive (S4) Earth: Frost Chip (S1) Armor Piercing (S2) Mikael: Mutation chip (S3) Snowflake Shuriken (S5) Small Shield (S5) Kakoara: Blood (S1) Hakon: Space (S1) Ororidan: Armor (S5) Defensive (S4) Unlisted characters have nothing but equipment. [/hide] Equipment: Click me! Affinity changes: Jen: +1 Ice Mikael: +1 Shadow Earth: +1 Poison [hide=Session summary] The group finished up the Lava and Bone rooms, then all got teleported to a room with a Cthulhu plushie, which magically took the 6 keys and knocked everybody out. They woke up in a forest, and proceeded to burn it down. They were then approached by a pair of Forest Guardians named Edward and Jacob, who decided to accompany the group until they found a new forest to guard. They have an obvious dislike for Hakon and Mikael, but are pleasant to the rest of the group.[/hide] Yell at me if anything's wrong.
  17. As though it wasn't enough that half the General Discussion topics get derailed into this, now it has its own topic. Wonderful. I think I might stick around and watch the futility.

  19. /join #shenanigans Let the fun begin.
  20. So, I think I'll try running in IRC today, and see how I like it. Session starts in ~an hour.
  21. Now go mod the raws. War Badgers. And be smart enough to not give all the badgers to one person.
  22. Nah, it just has to be Tavern-related somehow. Even if it's "I don't want to share this with the rest of the forums."
  23. Image Dump! I choose you! [hide=Massive Image Dump, in approximate descending chronological order. Quality not guaranteed.] [/hide]
  24. Thread rules: Posting art: All art must be relative in the Tavern in some way - Tavern character, landscapes, etc. are acceptable, but fanart of non-Tavern works or art related to not much of anything at all, is no longer allowed. Anything posted here not related to the Tavern after August 14, 2011, should go in the Gallery. All art must stay within forum rules, and anything quickish would probably be a bad idea. Posting critiques on art: If you decide to help people improve instead of drawing your own stuff, your critiques must be helpful and relative. Links to useful tutorials in your critique are always more than welcome. Bad critique example: " I dislike your art it sux so bad trololl0l0l0!@#!@#!@!!@@$!%!#$^!#l" Okay critique example: "I dislike N aspect of your art because of reasons X, Y, and Z." Wonderful critique example: "I dislike N aspect of your art because of reasons X, Y, and z, and here's A, B, and C ways to make it better." I think that's all, so now LET'S POAST SUM ART!
