Finished farming my wergali now I have the stuff for 90 herblore on Friday. Fletching potions, super antifires, extreme attack, extreme strength, extreme defence for anyone who can't tell. Yes I know the secondary for super antifires isn't there, it's not trade able. Originally bought supplies for 2k super energys and 2k special restore pots to get 92 right after the xp weekend was released but I sold it right before the herb and secondary crash for a 15m profit lol. Decided 2 extra levels probably wasn't worth the extra ~30m of something I'll never use. This is also going to be the first time I actually leveled herblore with herbs that I bought  (the stuff for extremes, I farmed the wergali) -
Um no mask in the equipment screen but you're wearing one

You do for mousekeys but I don't think you do for this mouse. But I'm not entirely sure about the mouse....

I wonder if they go find the person at jagex that's having the worst day ever to pick a name just to annoy you until 2011. -
Very cheap and also very fast xp in herblore = very high street price. You lose like 6k if you make 1 wergali unf from a clean wergali herb too so I think that might play some factor in it. You could always just farm them and stock up on them if you ever need to get rid of junk or buy an item that's bought out. I've farmed just under 4k of them atm and haven't lost and money(ge price) at all, in fact I've made money(ge price).

Ok the whole you can't add those numbers in your head easily anymore complaint is ridiculous. I'm not saying that because I think everyone should know basic 2nd grade math, but because how often did you really add up numbers before you eat? Did you really ever go out and see you were at a certain amount of hp that you needed to eat to get to max hp? No, you saw you were hurt, you ate until the little hp(now lp) symbol wasn't red or yellow anymore. But then again there are those people out there that think if they aren't at max hp they must heal.... And before you freak out, this isn't directed at the poster above me it's directed at everyone who uses that complaint.
-
I guess that's one down side but it really shouldn't take more then about half an hour of slaying to realize a 50 isn't high anymore. And what have you seen?
-
Ok, so why couldn't they do that at 80HP? have a ring that increases your max HP by 10? or at 99 having that ability to make sharks heal 25 instead of 20? The update is essentially worthless as everything can be done in the old format. In the immortal words of one Ray William Johnson: And that is what this update is. Something that's extremely necessary. Apart from the fact that Jagex are using this and the fact that members is now advertised on the log in page, shows that RS is going back to just being a cash cow being milked for every penny they can get. So much hate and yet you still play them game............ But seriously how is this negatively effecting you? I don't get the mentality of people who say this update is horrible just because it isn't needed(as far as we know.. jagex could have a future update that would need some change like this).
-
Only when they either have a positive effect or no real effect to game play. Recently I don't like the name change of the hp change but don't have a problem with the actual change to the skill itself. I just don't see the point in changing the name tbh.

I don't recall asking for weapons that allow you to easily kill monsters. I simply suggested a solution to the problem you had with having any more powerful weapons in pvp. And no, asking for a more powerful weapon is not the same as saying the game is too hard(even though nobody even asked for one, jagex put it in a Q&A after the question that asked if we would ever see a more powerful weapon then the godsword in the game). Whoever it was that was saying he would like a more powerful weapon meant he wanted a weapon that wasn't horrible for training but could still kill higher level monsters within reasonable speed. And, he's not talking about boss monsters he's talking about how most people just power train on lower levels, 80-90, because they know they can't kill a higher level, 130-140, fast enough to be even worth trying to train on. I really wouldn't want another godsword-like weapon, I'd want a weapon that instead of just power is also semi fast. Right now the whip is obviously the best weapon for training but comparing a whip(just a whip no shield) and a godsword the godsword beats it in power(strength bonus) by a long shot. Right now the whip is what you'd power train on lower level monsters with because you can get better xp using it and the godsword is what you'd typically use(unless you're high enough level to make the whip out match the godsword) to kill higher level monsters. Maybe a weapon that's more of an in between a whip and godsword, more powerful then a whip and faster then a godsword but still not as powerful, in terms of strength bonus, as the godsword. To me that's what I'd consider more "powerful" then a godsword, a fast weapon that's also a higher hitter then a whip oh and one-handed not two-handed. Of course you could see this would cause a problem in pvp because a fast, one handed "godsword" would be devastating against a player which is why I'm suggesting it should just not be allowed in pvp, but it should be allowed in safe pvp(similar to how extreme pots are). EDIT: I just realized how completely off topic this whole discussion is lol

I think really the only point in selling it with junk is if you have some junk lying around that's crashing hard and you can't get rid of it. Otherwise I agree I'd rather sell it in the ge then sell something using stable or rising junk.
-
Here is how I think it works: Basicaly, there are 2 prices: -the street price -the exchange price Junk has some exchange price and no street price, where as some items (partyhats, risings,...) have a street price higher then than their exchange price. The basic idea is, that when you trade, you balance the trade in both the exchange price and in the street price ( by selling or buying junk to/from another player). I think, that these are the basics, although I am not sure, so if someone could explain in more detail, if I missed anything. Say someone has a divine spirit shield, the street price is 800m(that's not the real street price I'm just making something up for this example) but the ge price is 510m. The player selling the divine spirit shield would probably add junk, generally crashing junk either from a failed merch or bought with another item, to equal 800m including the divine spirit shield. You buy the junk and the spirit shield from him for 800m cash and you'll probably end up losing a lot on the junk he gives you. It seems that most players sell items like divine spirit shields for rares instead of with junk though so you might have to get your hands on a few rares if you want one.

Ok. First, don't tell me you're making a "valid argument" or to leave. Second, your "valid argument" is you whining over the fact that you trained a few years ago and runescape changed since then. Now that I'm finished with that I'll explain to you why your theory isn't really valid. I considered what I wrote down, happy?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. So you did it a longer way, so you did it a long time ago, so you missed out on faster xp, tough [cabbage] life isn't fair get over it. Oh and [hide][/hide]

RSOF is so full of fail.... And no he's not joking. Having a fun time on RSOF, not posting but just reading some of the ridiculous things they have to say. And I like laughing at wbm. -
If I remember right they said in one of the QA's that some of the new armour and wepons would be like Kuradels ring. Therefor only working in certain areas. Ah, I see. They also said they're working on weapons even more powerful then godswords so you never know  Because melee definitely needs more powerful weapons. L... You obviously haven't been using the whip for the past...5 years. Or is it 6? It's been so long since I've actually trained with a different weapon. Oh well, of course there's the Saradomin Sword, though that's just another whip that you hold in two hands. Even that was brought out years ago. Melee really hasn't seen much action in a while in terms of useful combat equipment. Bandos is still the most used armor. Whips are still the most used weapon. Dragon Boots. Fury. Barrows Gloves. DFS. The same old stupid helmet from that barbarian quest that was released years ago. I want to actually train on high level monsters (level 300-500) and get good XP, and the only way to do that is to make weapons and armor that let you hit on them like I hit now on level 100s. Right now, the best xp comes from fighting monsters that are weak and noobish because there aren't strong enough weapons to gain good xp off of the high levels. And right now, the only way to really fight high level monsters is with protection prayer, which is outrageous because I'm sick of not having armor that can protect me against them. As in powerful I'm talking burst damage like ags or claws. They are far beyond other weapons in terms of raw ko power. Whip is more dps. And if you release whose weapons range and mage might as well just be removed from the game, When your hitting accurately on monsters much higher level than you what do you think will happen when you use them on a player? Jagex should at least bring range and mage up to date with melee before even thinking about such an update. Everything doesn't have to revolve around pvp. Jagex could simply create a weapon better then the whip or ss in terms of accuracy or another weapon more powerful then godswords that aren't usable in pvp.

I'm too tired and lazy to point out all the things wrong with your post so I'm just gonna say this. My friend is getting 88-99 summoning with a 20m loss  The skill isn't meant to be expensive at all, you can get everything you need for about 70m normally. It's a misconception that summoning is expensive because most people add the costs of barraging for charms. Oh and since you have 99 summoning you must know what it feels like to be someone with 99 summoning right now. And I'm sick of this "This is totally unfair to everyone who misses this weekend" crap. Life isn't fair get over it, if you miss something tough [cabbage].

Thanks now I can figure out my inventory for dragon tasks :)

Are you excited about the Bonus XP Weekend? Not really excited. Which skill do you plan to focus on for the Bonus XP Weekend? I have the supplies for either 90 herblore or like 50k xp from it then I'll probably just train slayer or power train strength at armoured zombies because I don't care about anything else lol. Might just end up going to godwars after 90 herblore and taking advantage of the fact that most people will be training skills instead of doing godwars. How will you be preparing for the Bonus XP Weekend? Already did my preparations. Farmed 4k wergali and bought the supplies for 1k extreme attack and strength pots and I planted a spirit tree that I'll be logging out next to before the 12th.

How long do they last? And does berserker prayer work on them?
-
Cool just went and got Robert R instead of Robert R1. Robert wasn't available so I guess that's the next best thing.
-
I have a new problem with the compromise. It's causing everyone who hates an update now to make threads suggesting compromises. It's just a new tactic for whiners to use.
