nice war Downfall, DV can't compete at this point, you dominated. Shameful for DV to have to resort to hacking a website to try and win, espescially since Downfall isn't an IRC based clan (if you had been, website loss wouldn't have hit as hard :P, just a tip.) It was a great war watched it from beggining to end, and listened in on Downfall's TeamSpeak, Amate screaming at Chris... oh god lol. And Jeff you gotta call louder and faster, tip for the future! Again, wonderful war Downfall, would have been epic in PvP.

I've been clanning for a short 2 years-ish, and really only 1 year in real clans. Hence why I'm posting this, again not as a complete history of every clan and everything, I just want to know when things happened Also about VR and DF, it was ONE OF GLADIATORZ MEMBERS WHO TOLD ME THAT. Thanks.

With Jagex's new confirmation that Stellar Dawn will not be like other MMO's, with no skills to train or experience to gain, I think a mass of RuneScape players will move to Stellar Dawn, should it prove satisfying, epescially with the growing dislike of Jagex's RuneScape team. The questions I want answered are: [b]What effect do you think Stellar Dawn will have on RuneScape clans?[/b] [b]Will clanning in Stellar Dawn be much different then in RuneScape, or other MMO's?[/b] [b]Do you think clans will become linked to both RuneScape and Stellar Dawn (AKA 'The' wars/does events on RuneScape AND Stellar Dawn)[/b] Opinions? This isn't exactly what most of you probably got the first impression of, but it is similar. I don't want the blow by blow history of every clan that's existed and who they had beef with. I want to learn about clanning as a whole, and maybe history of some top 10 clans and even your clan included. Significant events like major alliances, dates of Wilderness leaving, and the day PK Worlds released, Anything that significantly effected te clan world I want to see people post, I heard there was a DF+VR Alliance in like 04? Confirm? Explain? Why did it fail 2000 Significant Events: 2001 Significant Events: 2002 Significant Events: 2003 Significant Events: 2004 Significant Events: 2005 Significant Events: 2006 Significant Events: 2007 Significant Events: 2008 Significant Events: 2009 Significant Events: Be as specific and detailed as you can.

People view the aspects of the game differently then others. F2P and P2P Clanners will say they want Defence thoroughly increased in power, or Attack and Strength decreased. PKers are probably thrilled with how it is now, and in my opinion the Combat Triangle is fit perfectly for them. I disagree with the topic title, Jagex IS making a serious attempt, you just view it differently than a Clanner, or a PKer, or a PvM Addict would. Different needs means different wants as well.

The relaunch is still not guaranteed, Jagex to my knowledge has only said they were debating on it, because they would have to update it's security etc. etc. which they do not want to do. I'm wondering how the clan world will be affected by this because a legit RuneScape server with cheat codes for armour and stats (Is what Jagex said) would be incredible in PKRI's, they would last 50 Hours+ easily.

I like points made by many people, my input will be at the end. XjcX- Does the focus need to hop from CWA to PvP? I like this comment because it's true. The focus doesn't need to hop, because once TWR gets into PvP it will more then likely become more like RSC everyday, and we are here on TIF for a reason. However, the clan world is rapidly changing with the revival of the wilderness, albeit in a different form. Unknown Poster- Top 10 Clans beat out the smaller clans for wars. I will have to respectfully disagree with you on that one. PvP worlds should be a hit for smaller PvP clans, or clans making the conversion from CWA to PvP. Look at Poison, they fought in Al-Kharid. A little creativity goes a long way when you plan a fight. Dandaman619- It's much different in PvP then it is in CWA, not just losing pixels, but callers, binders, snipers, etc. I agree completely. Callers have to be much more careful, and they have to be able to tank for a lot longer than in CWA. In CWA if you die you can still lead semi-well from the orb in the jail if circumstances push you to it. PvP no such thing. Binders will put rune on usually immediately when sniped, because the risk factor is not a pleasent one. Snipers will be more inconspicuous (hence cape switching which many clans do and such tricks like these.) It's little differences that stack up and make PvP a completely different scenario than CWA. Personally, I think you have to create the clan with the intention of sometime becoming a PvP oriented clan at some time in the clans future.

Already submitted coded response, but I'm going to elaborate a bit here. I want the Clan Chronicle to continue because of a multitude of reasons. Sets TIF apart from RSC Engages people who don't clan to try clanning out, thus making the clan world grow An engaging read for us who constantly use the Clan Boards on TIF It's gotta give you some satisfaction when you see positive responses to something you wrote ;) TIF and RSC are fundamentally different clan boards, everyone knows this. TIF clans are generally smaller-sized clans that don't do PvP wars as often as RSC clans. RSC is full of the top clans, and mid-sized PvP clans like Dragonwood, and Illusion. Each board has it's flaws, and each board has it's strength. TIF is a good place to learn what clanning is, participate in Clan Discussion debates (not fights.) The Clan Chronicle sets TIF apart from RSC because RSC has nothing of the sort that is credible, and the Clan Chronicle is filled with interesting things about clans that we never knew. People who don't clan and who chance upon the article are pulled into clanning. They see the deep history and how exciting it can be (what with all the DK articles? [Which I personally don't like.]) It draws people into TIF clanning, and helps build the TIF clan community (they see the Clan Chronicle here, they join a clan that wars on TIF.) It helps build the community and the clans in the community here. Even people from RSC check TIF to see if a new edition is out. Like previously stated it's a very interesting read filled with things I never knew, like how BK is the oldest clan in RuneScape (I thought it was The Sabres, and still do personally.) Also, the JMod interview about the clan world is deffinitely worth reading, as it's free sneak peaks at Jagex's plans for the future. Yeah, you like the nice comments that's reason enough to do it! Things that could change with it (in my opinion.) Don't focus as much on single clans DK Articles, although NH is a vast subject so maybe the whole DK vs NI+PH could work out well LENGTHIER! Add articles that recurr every month, such as important clan events that happened that month, memorials for all known clans that closed that month, and good lucks to clans that open. TALK ABOUT THE TOP 10. While I like how it's TIF related, it does need more Top Clan information, like some fights, history, and why things are how the are now. Similar to above, write about the history of the clan world in general. Weren't DF and VR allies in 2004? What happenned to that? Things like these. That's my in-depth input. Like I said in my precious post I'd love to help if you need it, I've done stuff like this before for clan(s).

i'm really excited about this because TPR is the funniest moments in clanning. It's not an all serious clan, or a serious team even. It's not a no honour team or a multiclanning reject team that no one likes (cept akel but owell.) TPR is funny stuff new tactics invented (like ranged pray tank in melee+binds) and funny stuff happens. it's just jokes and i love it.
