  1. It's obvious that you REALLY want the f2p spellbook to be improved and I feel you there. With the new surge spells, it widens the gap even more. Check this out http://forum.tip.it/topic/251136-surge-spells-what-about-f2p/
  2. WOOO HOOOO CLASSIC DUELING IS BACK! And no GE and no trade limits!
  3. I remember classic dueling and I'm building up a defense "noob".
  4. I agree that the p2p 1000 total level is too low, but I think instead it should be a total exp requirement.
  5. My only advice is list your own weight. You'll build cut over bulk.
  6. Jagex had a good reason for not giving f2p skillcapes, so they would make money. Also they want to discourage a massive amount of grinding(much more then p2p).
  7. It's really funny how horde and allies argue so easily and they both like to think they're better. I am a Tauren enhancement Shammy and to me it doesn't matter. BTW Worgen look amazing :)
  8. Haha thanks :) The point I was trying to bring up is that the f2p combat triangle should be balanced. I don't think that f2p should get skill capes, but they should be equipable in f2p. http://forum.tip.it/topic/251136-surge-spells-what-about-f2p/
  9. Members already have entangle and wave spells... do you mean f2p? Yes Jagex is a business, but they stated that f2p is NOT demo, shouldn't they live up to that statement? If they were lying, Jagex should delete RS and start over from classic and rebuild the combat system correctly.
  10. I would have to go with the half n half. It is a somewhat decent cape when trimmed and it matches many outfits we think are "cool". It's also a money sink which helps control the economy. It's also a great money maker for jagex, as people spend many hours for a level 99. On the dark side(no we don't have cookies) it's a major time sink. Getting 99 in a skill eats your time that you could be out with your friends, or go exercise, or(of course) doing homework. Also for some players it can take the fun out of the game by grinding. Human nature makes people want to disagree and argue with others, I think this is another issue that follows that belief.
  11. With the new magic update introducing four new spells, it had widened the gap in the f2p spell book and the p2p one. In f2p melee has always been the dominant combat style in pvp. Isn't about time f2p magic got wave spells? Blast spells are decent at best and adding blood runes to non-members could help deflate the economy. As a former f2per for six years it was a bit frustrating not being able to use magic(my favorite combat style) in pvp. I know this would be a huge deal with most members and they would think they should get updates first and... they should. Also people would complain about range being to weak and Jagex would have to add an update to compensate for that. But Runescape f2p is more then a demo, it has its own style of play. Shouldn't the combat triangle at least be balanced? To the soon-to-be-annoying/flaming members, I am a member. Wave spells should be added to f2p and maybe snare. Also, maybe replacing the lower level curse spells with something more useful. I was originally going to put this in general discussion, but then I realized this was a HUGE update for many players and it should be tossed around a little bit first. By the way if someone could tell me how to change the title that would be great :)
  12. How about magic short with addy arrows vs. rune c'bow with addy bolts
  13. AS I MENTIONED EARLIER, out of the 2 sets which is better?
  14. From the begining of May, the price of an abyssal whip slowly rose for 6 months to peak at 4 million gold pieces. Then as we all know, the anti-76kin update was introduced and many people thought the price of valuables(not rares) would crash. So in 2 day's time the price of a whip had dropped 600k. This only happened because so many people were afraid it was going to drop and then it did. If everyone had realized that the update wasn't going to crash the price the price would still be where it is today. It's funny and sad how stupid many people are and how easily convinced they are to sell. That says something about human nature doesn't it?
  15. Even with the cost effective addy bolts, does it kill faster then the magic short?
  16. At lvl 61 range, fighting fire giants, which set kills faster. A magic short bow and addy arrows? or a rune crossbow with bronze bolts?
  17. Is using the cannon in Tzhaar city a good idea?
  18. I have a crap load of red chinchompas, and I want to train range. What should I use them on?
  19. In RSC there were parties every night at the Blue Moon Inn. I think that counts as "culture". Unfortunately, they died off with the release of RS2 :( They sure did :( The more rs2 continues updating, the lonlier it gets :( I feel you there.

  21. Honestly it isnt. You have heaps of options to make your defence bonus higher, and you still get hit rather hard. Attack is more important. I'm just glad that neither of you are arguing that strength is the most important. Because it's not. I agree that attack is the most important, but defence follows with a VERY close second.
  22. If a level 3 can, you can. I'd recommend going to the stronghold of security level and train on the giant spiders there.
