Weird update this... It is more confusing and +- the same as the old achievement diaries, why change them? <_< And is this update bugged? For me: Lumbridge 120/120 completed Varrock 62/62 completed Falador 44/44 completed Seers 40/40 completed Ardougne 61/61 completed Karamje 47/47 completed Fremennik 39/39 completed DDs 0/0 gives 413/417 tasks completed Yesterday I tried catching implings and I defeated Bork, task total didn't update. <_<

Maybe. :o I like updates as much as the next guy though. Haven't had any new content I could try yet since the Halloween Update if you don't count the Bank update, so I understand the frustration some have with the delay. If I ever finish the list, I can finally rant about there not being anything for me to do when updates come late. :P New updates are a welcome diversion to me. Takes me away from the more monotonous goals I've set for myself on RS. That is why I don't like less updates -> less diversion. :razz: @Matok Thanks for the heads up!

Complete my house by adding Abyssal Demon Head, KBD Heads and KQ Head in my skill halls. 7. Hang up a Mounted Bass and Swordfish in my skill halls. 8. Get a Green and Red Dragon egg, then grow all Dragons to complete my Menagerie. 9. Obtain the ancient pages I'm missing for my Ancient Cavern book. 10. Get ranked in all minigame highscores. 11. Get every Castle Wars armor piece excluding swords up to intricate. 12. Get all Castle Wars halo's, cape's and shield. 13. Complete the Champion's Challenge. 14. Kill 4'000 Chompy Birds for the Expert Dragon Archer hat. 15. Complete all Court Cases. 16. Get a Cute Phoenix Eggling. 17. Get an Abyssal Demon Pet from Soul Wars. 18. Get a Fire Cape for my Cape Rack (excluding the one in my bank). 19. Make money/merchant to get the items I want. - tl:dr = I have enough content to keep me busy, and I'm almost maxed. Is it useful? Hell no, but it's content nevertheless. In the end of the day, Runescape itself isn't really useful. Hey Den, quite the list there. Apparently RS can go on for several years without updates and still keep you busy. :smile: Yeah, haha. I actually liked the old layout better.... better overview, in my opinion:D Same. I look on tip.it nowadays to see if there is/was an update, in case I missed one on RS-homepage. :razz: If she comes back to Tip.It, she can pick up where she left. :wink:

Especially since you're almost maxed out. It might be capes, but what is the point after a certain lvl. Are 10x air runes so different from crafting 9x air runes? Personally the warped floors are the main reason that keep me hooked, rest is grinding til 99. Lol. :^_^: I find it sad the peak years of RS are behind us and they are doing little to nothing to counter the curve. Good content updates are getting scarcer. (eg: "we're always working on a new skill" -> apparently not true anymore) (eg: "we are willing to take unpopular measures against RWT" -> every item with 'street' is being sold for $, yet nothing is done about it) (eg: "we perm ban auto'ers" -> now they get their stats reduced... ) (eg: releasing dungeoneering in a whole bunch of little parts just to fill no-update weeks)

True, that would be one of the ways of fixing the prices of phats. (I didn't mean fixating the prices of phats) I still don't see why Jagex hasn't reacted yet, surely they've seen the posts on RWT-forums where they sell off phats for real $. They know this is because of the huge gap between GE-prices and street-prices. Yet they do nothing...

well here's what you'd need to do. for a white you need a red plus yellow (ish). a red is worth a green plus a couple pumpkins. - buy a green phat for 2b, dispose of 1.5b junk. - buy two pumpkins for about 400m each, dispose of 600m junk. - trade green plus two pumpkins for red - trade yellow plus red for white and to the above poster - it's not about excluding the new guy. it's that there are so many new guys and so few old guys wishing to part with their hat (which they may never see again if they do) that the new guys have to compete to get them. the prices go up because some people are willing to pay more than you would for a hat. Or in other words: pay another person some real $ and buy his/her phat for trade price. When will Jagex do the right thing and fix the price of rares... :blink: (edit: I'm not encouraging you to rwt, but I think the system is) I wonder which RS-player holds 2b junk to trade with his/her green phat unless they're the owner of a manipulation clan. <_< (or a victim of those)

tbh free trade is more realistic then automatic dropping coming back. That would make things too easy People with mousekeys have +- automatic dropping. If this would be implemented again, it would even things out.

I don't see anything wrong with partyhats. GE is flawed and hoarding to increase 'street' should be made impossible. Every item with street is subject to RWT, add several 100 dollar bills and you got yourself a partyhat at trade price.

Why was the ingame item needed? And why didn't delete it afterwards, since it was an item to promote an event? (further promoting an event that already took place is a tad silly) Especially since phats raised to their current state, you could have guessed this would become a status symbol in a couple of years. This is the first item in Runescape history which you had to pay for, RS is reflecting real life wealth by this. Isn't this against the spirit of the game? (I know members are paying too for items, however they are paying to keep the game running + you can obtain the member items at any time when people decide to become member) Cheap way of luring people to p2p.

Just finished 91 rc-task with 89 rc and stews, worked fine.

Don't forget you can boost stats too. You can wild pie to kill the Wryms at 88 slayer (provided you bought the ability to kill or had a fire cape). Did my wyrm task @ 91 slay. Same thing for the RC task. I plan to do mine @ 87 RC. +4 boost isn't to uncommon from evil stews and sure as heck beats getting the 2-3M extra RC XP needed from 87-91 to do the task. Considering that you need to turn 28 essence into 56 nature runes, and that you need to get the +4 boost in the first place, how are you going to carry it out? Best I can figure is getting the boost in a bank, then tabbing to nature altar and unloading an extra rune essence from a familiar. But that leaves quite a margin for error, doesn't it? Take a stew with you, rest of inventory pure essence. Also an abyssal lurker, filled with pure ess. Drop your stews when you have the desired boost and take pure ess for full inventory.

I find it disappointing there are no such tasks in the diaries, it is elite after all... Also, some skills are left out: - hunter (they could have added the lvl 95 butterfly) - construction - dungeoneering Agreed. Either that or the Karamja diary should increase points for all slayer masters. +1 <_<

Thanks for the analysis, very interesting. I wonder what percentage of the girls who fell for rapier/longsword/maul are good looking, maybe these percentages are not the same on every weapon... Also, relatively dumber girls might fall easier for the 'longsword is a fallus symbol'-trap. :unsure: Average speed is best for most girls though, most don't like it to be over quickly or to last forever. ;-)
