  1. Elaborating on his question... Does dhide armour exist on classic?
  2. I agree with Jamin04, make it 'equip a fire cape' and fine by me. Don't let us go through that horror another time...
  3. You can also buy your mind runes in Varrock, they have a stock of 50 runes. What kind of armour are you using for your magic training?
  4. I did go there, no info on range/mage armour. Same with the attack speed of weapons, there is nothing about that subject either. But you already answered that one, thanks! :) Does someone know anything about range/mage armour on rsc?
  5. I heard god spells were quite good, could be wrong though. Btw: it seems like you're the only one on atm, do you have some tips on armour/weapon? (standing in al kharid atm and want to know if I should buy a scim there or a longsword elsewhere, walking is annoying...)
  6. Magic seems easier on classic, the xp rates are +- doubled compared to rs2? Also, teleporting is quite useful... :-P
  7. Hey, I am one of those people offically hooked on rsc now... :) My att/def/str stats are at lvl 20 and I want to start training range/magic. I bought both arrows and runes in Varrock and am locked and loaded to start! Only thing holding me back is that I don't know what armour to wear when ranging/maging. I got myself a cool (and cheap :P ) black wizard hat but for the rest I'm clueless. (power amulet will remain best for both mage/range I guess) Someone got advice on cheap range/mage armour? Mystic probably doesn't exist (and if it does, I'm not wealthy enough to buy it  ) and I don't know if d'hide exists either. Also: what would be the best one-handed weapon to continue melee training? I bought scimitars but I heard they have the same attack speed as longswords in RSC. Thanks! Tim
  8. Yeah, I dont really get it. Lvl 80 spell > lvl 95 spell in any circumstance? Am I missing some catch here or is this buyout of deaths and bloods just plain stupid, considering nobody in their right mind should use these spells over mage arena spells. Also, I've been reading that before the update, extreme magic potions only had a damage boost on one target, is this true? (so you would only be able to hit 46 on one rock lobster and normal damage would apply to the others). If this is true, does it still apply or have they updated it. If they did, then rock lobsters will be faster rather than slower. ah, but you seem not to understand that the god spells dont have the potential to be used with boosting wands. And the level diffirence only occurs because the god spells only draw power from the god's not use your (rune) own power, thus it is way harder to master, but is way more potent. Aren't you forgetting about void knight mace?
  9. I like the update on rc because they made it more profitable for lower lvls and I really hate that skill. I can understand the frustration of high rc'ers though, it is not cool to see your hard work go partly down the drain. (same goes for wc capes before ivy) But the mage update... 1) They nerved extreme magic potions. Hard. -> why? I was training herblore atm and you took away 90% of my incentive. 2) They made some new spells with the highest requiring 95 magic, maximum damage of 28. All good, but the god spells hit 30 and require 80 magic (60 for the spell, 80 for charge) -> a huge gap between 80 and 95 magic, yet no higher hits?
  10. True, alot of phat sets too. And quite a few 'button' buyers, apparently they are 500k each...
  11. Thanks for the response! But apparently I'm a big noob, I can't find it... Looked in rsc part of forum and in this thread, but didn't find it. Did read that champions guild sells it for 64k.
  12. I just got a rune skirt from a drop party behind the bank in Draynor. Only problem: my stats are lvl 1 and I can't alch it... I picked up a nature rune too, could someone trade me the alch price for nature rune + rune skirt pretty please? (I'm rich!!! alch price is the same as in rs2, right? 38k? ) If someone wishes to help me out, tell me your username in rsc and I'll add you. Thanks!
  13. Hey, I am no expert on junk trading but I do know a thing or two and think I can answer your question. They are bloated items indeed, but you are wrong on another point. If A is selling his phat for an easter from B. A gives the phat, B gives the easter + cash to make the trade even. Not easter + junnk. A hopes that in the future his newly gotten easter will rise more than his phat. B hopes that in the future his newly gotten phat will rise more than his easter. If I am wrong, feel free to correct me! Tim
  14. Could you tell us some of those websites? Might be useful for alot of us... ;)
  15. Three .'s there, so 'bowl' would make 'bowling' as skill! Obviously the medieval kind, with the stumach of pigs etc. Combat triangle -> combat square...
  16. Hey I absolutely love this high level update! (maybe I am biased because I am able to do every single elite task ) + waiting until I get 85 runecrafting to cash in the 200k xp, this is still a whole chunk, even for higher lvled players... You get teleported with elf crystals to the temple of light (the spot where you sing to the crystal in last quest) when you speak to Eluned. No mourners gear needed! another  Jagex! What I was wondering: "Murky Matt at the Grand Exchange can now combine the charges on members' teleport jewellery." What does this imply? Which kind of jewellery can be combined? Tim
  17. When you go back to the gnome that helps you in the quest, there are two new guys in his cel, sweeping the floor. If you speak to them, they tell you that their previous boss was Mandrith, who paid them 76k. lol. I liked the quest, not too hard, not too easy and a descent reward. At least now we know they're working on the elven city.
