Quiet Before the Swarm 24-Jun-2010 & Free to play quest changes
I never saw someone buying climbing boots over 20k in a pvp world. Where does he get that figure that they were that high 'street' before? *waiting on Omali to respond he pulled that figure from somewhere* By the way, if people bought climbers for 75k, they needed to add junk to that trade. Thus making it fair according to Jagex, because you had to "work" for that junk too. That means he doesn't understand the concept off junk-trading I guess... @tehsengir Try to lend out stuff or junktrade them now if you have the means. If you don't and you're patient enough, my advice would be to hold onto them. At first GE-price will fall massively, after that we get a spike and they'll continue to rise til they reach 75k ge price.

I can't believe they just ignore that many players. Why even bother to posting in recent updates on RSOF, let aside in the 'suggestions'-section if they just ignore this. I'm done with RSOF, that's for sure.

How is this possible when they bought items with the cash they made? :-?

According to Mod Nancy that should've been fixed now.

Quiet Before the Swarm 24-Jun-2010 & Free to play quest changes
Yup, there was a thread in this forum explaining this a few days ago. A heads up for player-mods telling them to explain this update to players and reassure them this is not a scam. Actually... Where is that thread?

Quiet Before the Swarm 24-Jun-2010 & Free to play quest changes
I love new quests! Apparently several people profited and made millions when their climbing boots changed into rock climbing boots. <_< (reports from people on rsof who had 10k climbers in bank X 75k each) Don't they think before pressing the 'update' button? Thought they had a whole team for QA...

Time for a new boss?
I'm not that much of a bosshunter, but yes, I'm not slaying goblins most of my time. My thoughts could be biased but spending my time in Edgeville these days crafting, I rarely see a 115-cb. (I'm not in the 1500+ world btw) Second part is true, but my statement still stands, they would have something extra to aim for. What is a better incentive then a cool new boss with a nice drop and epic graphics. It has been two years since the last boss. Do the people who could take on the last boss from the start really need to stay at the same bosses for that long? BTW: I don't know what you call high lvl but with your stats you can easily boss hunt.

Time for a new boss?
When I walk around in my homeworld I hardly ever see people with 115- combat these days. And if high combats really are a small % of the entire runescape population, the lower combat levels get something to aim for with a new boss. Possibilities I can think of: - The unopened door at Godwars. - Kalphite King. - The promised out-of-Daemonheim dungeoneering monsters. - Or they could add rare drops to existing drop tables if they are lazy....... The idea of a dragon defender sounds really cool!

Upcoming Combat Triangle Rebalance
I only kill Ice Wyrms with mage because it's a nice diversion from my standard slayer gear. (max melee) I sometimes wonder why though with the (huge) extra cost and mage being +- the same efficiency as melee.

What have I missed?
Tried it, seems like there were 49 other pages. Started playing WOW, came back to RS too.

Summer Goals & Achievements 2010
hmmmm... 90 fishing Chaotic rapier + arcane stream 91 RC Won't have that much free time during summer. (or at least I should have the stamina not to play that much  ) so possibly: - divine - 99 crafting - 99 herblore - 95 hunter - 99 farming too... :^_^:

And if people in lobby are counted, you might even have been underestimating them.

200M in all Skills
Either that or he doesn't want to waste his time banking. btw: he looses 151 coins/ore, hard to do when you're out of cash.

15 June 2010 - Ancient effigies
That depends on the extent of increasing. 30k-60k no, 30k-200k yes. I think that 10% will still be an incentive for people to hoard these effigies, as some will be very efficient, this will cause others to loose the daily xp. Or make it alot harder to find someone to assist. @ Rahzam: There already are several. I like it the way it is, it is another daily that will be an incentive to train my lower stats to 91. EDIT: check out this guy his adventurers log... LOL http://services.runescape.com/m=adventurers-log/c=HoycTI7NV7M/display_player_profile.ws?searchName=Rublab1

15 June 2010 - Ancient effigies
Increase the cap is the only solution I see. But it is tricky to determin by how much. It would be abused if it didn't have a cap imo.

15 June 2010 - Ancient effigies
Why would a monkey travel all the way to Varrock just to sell dragon scimitars to pkers. Just seems weird. (btw: renting a shop + storage facilities and the shipment of thousands dragon scimitars has no extra cost? ) If ancient effigies are that common, wouldn't this ruin the normal training methods? Only time will tell how common these are... Edit: according to Wiki a dragon scimitar in Varrock costs 109k, it all makes sense now!

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Since this is sliding into a comparison which Chaotic weapon is the best buy. Is Chaotic maul best in any situation? PVP because it has a high KO-ability, even more so than CLS? Lack of shield slot though.

Smuggling Dungeoneering Items
It is in no way related I think, just wanted to vent my frustrations at that moment + it didn't seem worthy of a new thread as it was merely a rant. (I was not the only one by the way, rsof had about 5 threads full of people complaining about loss of bound items/loss of xp)

Smuggling Dungeoneering Items
Dragonstone bolts duplicate bug / sea boots (reselling construction items for huge profits to kingdom) Both were explained on these fora and both explanations were left untouched as far as I remember. At least you could admit the rules are being enforced more strictly. I don't really mind, tip.it is a great community with moderators who put alot of their free time in this site and the help of others. The loss of bug explanations doesn't change this. Don't loose your integrity though. (btw: everyone can type 'smuggling dungeoneering items' in youtube and see how the bug works, so this rule only helps for tip.it users who are extremely dumb :-P ) BTW: according to my adventurer's log I lvl'ed all skills to 63 twice now. Woohoo!

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
So... Slayer: rapier (because of the low defence most slayer monsters have) Godwars: longsword (high defence monsters) PVP: maul (because of the KO ability) Right? <_< I only want to spend tokens on one weapon, so I truly hope this conclusion is false. :P If only dungeoneering weapons were exchangeable just like castle wars armour...

Picking up greens and golds
If you want most xp, I think you're best to pick up all charms. It adds up in the end. I stopped picking them up after 99, it made slayer even more enjoyable. :^_^:

Smuggling Dungeoneering Items
Oh, didn't know primal plate wasn't out yet. I guess a fair ammount of blood necklaces was lost since it's always pretty busy. Someone on rsof is complaining he lost his hexhunter bow too. Stil can't believe they didn't get back to me on this issue... My adventurer's log clearly says I lvl'ed all skills 63+ when my lvl is rolled back to 62... <_<
