Id rather have autoers then jagex constantly making updates that hurt legit players to try and stop them. Some moron woodcutting on 20 accs doesnt affect me.. Me not being able to stake drove me to quitting becouse it was the thing i enjoyed most about rs. After i quit due to the staking update i proceeded to sell all of the mils i had accumulated from staking for real life cash, becouse i have no other use for it. :thumbsup: Good fight jagex.

I sell gold via death or drop trading, most of my peers do the same, the ammount of people that used the duel arena was minimal becouse we all figured it was much easier to track.. The game could easily keep track of every duel where one player offer 1m+ and the other player random junk. The game CANNOT keep track of every person who dies or drops something it would take so much bandwidth as to make it impractical. If your too thick to understand that this debate can go no further, im supplying facts you and solidus are saying "nuh uh!!! i am right you are wrong couse i said so" Get some facts then come back. Autoing was arround before there was a market for rs gold, and the vast majority of autos you see are just people using the new [Please don't avoid the censor ~ Shaz] to get rich on rs, this bot can run up to 30 bots per person per computer. For the record most of them are american/europian btw and just name their chars qin or choun ect to laugh about how the chinese get blamed, they even have threads about how funny they think it is. So basically just because one website has 15430 registered members each with 30 bots, then apparently all the sweatshops in china don't exist? This site would have 432900 bots, there's no way in hell that wouldn't go unnoticed. There's also no way in hell that they have that many bots going around right now. Until you have some real data, stop making stupid claims based on extremely limited findings. Real life currency is exactly what is being targeted here. People will only get ingame currency if it's worth it to make 30 bots. The vast amount of wealth that bots can collect doesn't make it anywhere near to worth it for someone who has something to lose. So all you do is delete the main account, they are actually easier to get rid of because they have something to lose. Besides, I'm still correct even if these are targeted at real-world traders. What they have been doing is making the covert transaction of gp incredibly hard! What makes you think it will be any easier for them? Basically, you're completely wrong in assuming that the bots are mostly people who are in it for ingame currency all because of a pathetic website (go ahead and give me the URL, I wanna see this filth with my own eyes). And you completely failed to see that the difficulty to transfer cash amongst real-world traders also makes it difficult for people who are in it for ingame currency. Based on one website yes... the website that makes the bots. And how is the covert transaction of gp harder? it would have been easier to catch a unbalanced stake in the arena then to catch this.. 2 players on varrock castle roof alone, one of them a lvl 3 accidently attacks a guard and dies dropping every thing he had on him including 20m gold, the other "lucky" player picks it up and says OMG OMG!!. So how has it gotten any harder?, a lot of gold sellers dont even HAVE members accounts, 90% of them auto on f2p yews remember.. So if they are f2p autoers why would they have a members acc? they dont bother. So jagex has done [cabbage] all to stop xfers and a LOT to piss off legit players, end of story.

Rs has closer to 10 million players, they have 1 million paying members, rs is also a home based game company that started with 3 members working out of a basement. When blizzard made wow they were backed by vivendi a multi billion dollar corperation, they also had several succesful titles already including the already massivly popular warcraft series, so people were already anticipating the release, then they had a global advertisement campaign in cinimas and on television.. Rs was spread by word of mouth. Now which is more impressive?, a billion dollar already succesful games company which already had the highest selling rpg on the market at the time (diablo2) making a follow on mmorpg off an already massivly popular strategy series and getting 8 million members (warcraft 2 sold more copies then that)? Or the 3 guys who sat and coded in a basement and created one of the top 5 largest mmorpgs ever created with no funding whatsoever?. Ive noticed it too and its lame, for all the idiots supporting this update.. Who does it help.. These people: Ranger/mage: steps in lvl 1 specs with dark bow/ blitzes some one, then steps out. Person in wild: takes full damage retaliates and hits nothing. Thats who this update helps, those little wilderness line hugging pjers. They had to be in the wilderness for you to fire at them in the first place so they should still be hit regardless of if they run.

Ive had the same thing happen towards me also, in a marathon back in 1998, i was running a close second when i collapsed from heat and asthma, kyle, the guy coming first who id never even met stopped running, came back and helped me walk to the finish line, we came a tie for last.

Jagex took something that has been there since the start of rsc that a huge percentage of the population enjoy and butchered it beyond belief.. for most high lvls who arnt into skills staking was the last truly fun thing left in this game and jagex just wrecked it without regard for the consequences, also hat prices are dropping like hell so jagex has just crushed some peoples banks.

Personally, I try to be 'honorable' the best I can(all the activities he described I find despicable and noobish) but if I'm skulled and being just totally pwned by a team of pures with telebock, I'll do whatever I can to survive. Basically, if it's a 'fair' fight I'll go to the death, but if I absolutely have no chance don't expect me to just sit there and die. I dont disprove of teleporting in a fight like that, i disprove of teleporting from a 1 on one fight expecially if you started it. I dont attack trainers (except at chaos druids, but they know the risks and 90% of people there are macros). And the honour code only says no pray in 1v1, if its 2v1 or more feel free.

I understand what the whole concept of Pjing is and what it means. But what I don't get is why pures whine about it when people are just trying to PK with an advantage just as the pures have over mains with the same combat.
