They should make it so that you need to get a skill total of 500 and have played at least 3 months before you can subscribe to members, thus players already have a good grasp of the game before they come to p2p. The benifits to the game this will bring are huge, the negatives are too minor to be concerned over.

Revs arnt pkers lol, i can beat 2 126 revenant knights at the same time, and im 114 comb f2p stats, so long as you have high strength you can just whip them down then dds spec ko same as you would with any pker who didnt know when to eat.

Looking good, in society and runescape is a way of getting attention, its society at its best and worst, you can see the beautiful people and you can see the conciet and lies buried beneath. I myself always dress well, hell i have a 520$ pair of vestment jeans, but in the end i think i pick up just as easy at the clubs in my 90$ jay jays outfit. In runescape, people want to look good to garner attention, and since jagex has removed 90% of player interaction, wearing good stuff is seen as an easier way to meet people, think about it, all my good friends were made trading or pking, nowadays at training spots most people just tell you to get lost rather then hold a conversation, wearing nice armour makes people notice you, maybe they will strike up a conversation. Myself i just wear whatever is the best armour for my specific situation at the time.

How are they absurd? I almost met them when i posted this a year and a half ago, i meet them easily now. Not every one is a mid level.. as a matter of fact theres 32,500 people with a skill total over mine, and mines over 1800... So thats 32,500 people who dont get any quests that are a challenge to them or that they have to train for.. Its not always about catering to majoritys, if you understood business like you seem to think you do you would realise that its just as important to add high level content to satisfy the high level players.. think about it.. Its not the mid level players who quit, they have a lot of content, people quit when they reach 120+ combat and realise there is very little left to do in the game. If jagex just keeps adding more mid level content the game will just be full of [cabbage]ty 40 stat items and garbage like the brine sabre.. Useless junk. Why is wow the most popular online game in the world? becouse at lvl 70 the game BEGINS, you have 10 times more options and 10 times more content once you max your character, this is becouse blizzard understands that once you have a high level character new content is more important then when your in the middle of lvling and already have enough content to keep you busy for a few years. I got to lvl 100 on rs classic without any of the garbage people now enjoy, so why do we need another thousand tripe quests and items to keep you people happy, every one else got by just fine without it.

Its been a year and a half since my original post, im now a lvl 120 with 1836 skill total and there still isnt a quest aimed at high or even mid high lvls. As i said, jagex would balk at annoying the thousands of mid-low levels with quest capes, and as such the game will remain boring for us high levels. I want a quest i have to train for..

I meet the requirements for any clan in the game, but i shouldnt need a clan to be involved in pvp, its ridiculous.

They also took away wilderness, giving gifts to friends, ect. And a duel arena you can stake 3k in omfg so exciting!! Im not even f2p and i think they got a raw deal. :?

A REPLACEMENT? Ok picture this, they replace your yew and magic trees with a tree that if you attempt to cut it alone your axe breaks, if you cut it with a group as soon as you get a log you get a skull on your head, all the other woodcutters attack you and you cant log out for 3 minutes. I know an army engineer here in canberra who cant spell worth a damn, he can however design and build a dune buggy out of scrap metal. Is he stupid?, spelling and intellect are not linked, you can have a poor school education and still be very smart. First, please learn to spell before insulting someone's intelligence. :) (effectively* and because*) Second, there is no piling or teaming in Duel Tournaments. That is solo. You can still duel regularly too but without staking. That is solo. Also, Jagex said they would be releasing another solo PVP mini game. So, Mr. Genius, solo PVP was not REMOVED. Even if it was removed you still have multiplayer PVP. Welcome to an MMORPG. Your combat skills still have use. That is like saying "Oh I got 70 Attack but then they nerfed the Whip's Spec! Now I wasted all that time training!" Your a moron, btw spelling has nothing to do with intelligence. I wont even bother trying to explain anything to you becouse your clearly ignorant. Duel tournaments are not even close to solo pking. The reason i trained my stats is gone hence that training was wasted.

Your point...? Seriously, how does that fact change anything at all? Consider this in your argument: Jagex never removed PVP Combat. They changed it. Your combat skills still exist. You didn't lose any of your work gaining that XP. Sly is suggesting the REMOVAL of some of the skills. He even said himself that there would be no replacement just more monster drops to collecting resources. This means, since there would be no replacement, all that XP those skillers gained went completely to waste. He wants the skills to be REMOVED, not CHANGED like PVP was. No idiot, effectivally my combat skills are null becouse what i trained them for is gone. Solo pvp was REMOVED, not changed.

But I did, Sly. You want Jagex to take Fishing, Woodcutting, and Mining out. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me... They never removed a skill before. If they did they, as you said, they would have to adjust the quests, get rid of a lot of items (axes, fishing rods, ore, etc), and plus get rid of the skill out of the Hiscores. Those with millions and millions of xp in those skills wouldn't be too happy about wasting all that time for the sole purpose of getting their ranks. I have 37 million xp in combat skills thats the equivilant of 3 99's and sly has even more then i do, consider that in your arguement.

You used to have to click the harpoon (or whatever fishing tool being used), and then click on the fishing spot, just to catch 1 fish. That was before fatigue was released tho.. Magic is still easier to train on rs2 tho... On rsc, you have to click each individual spell, and then click on the monster. After about 33 spells casted, you have to rest. With rs2, you can just 1 click to cast spells until the monster is dead or you run out of runes. Or you could be smart like biga and get 99 with curses in wild lol.

Only thing that was easier was magic, fishing was much harder, you had to click every time, even though you could powerfish you still had to click every time you attempted to catch something and at 25 fishing i can click 8 times without catching a trout, at 92 fishing i could click 25 times and not catch a shark.

What the hell? Bots could just bot their way to the deposit thing ever few thousand coins. The reason bots don't go there is not because they can't, it's because it's a horrible way to make money. Bots do go there, and its not horrible money. Bull. I've made around a million xp at the MTA and never saw any bots. And It's around 100k gp per hour. Not that much compared to things like WC and RC. Especially considering the large amount of money spent on runes getting the stats to use it effectively. You have no idea, there is bots there so stfu.
