  1. Cute for sure, not the perfect hot chick ideal but I frankly don't mind. Pretty green eyes turn me on definitely. I didn't talk to her at all since the beginning. There was a time we were in the same team for a volley match but I didn't really talk with her, I wasn't interested back then. She seems shy and doesn't get involved with the show-offy immature guys who tend to get all the girls. Saw her profile on FB without adding, she sounds quite fair, don't know how to express it. It's just someone I really feel I'd like to know more. Saw her at school today, but I didn't dare to go and ask her. She was talking with her friends a lot. One friend tells me I could just ask her if I could have a word with her, wether or not she's with friends, and ask her to meet sometime later to talk. Then, when we do talk, I'd have a little conversation and ask her out on a date. I feel that would stress her up a lot, I really don't know. Frankly I have a hard time finding a good opportunity to talk with her. I'm starting to understand my "opponent" in all this isn't her decision but rather mine.
  2. ^Awesome thinking, ty again. I really need to get the hang of this stuff, I never see those kinds of things coming.
  3. Omg i think i can actually offer some advice for once!@!@! Same thing happened to me about errrr 5 months ago. I worked in a mall and there was thing girl working on the store across from em hat i really liked (well, by apearance anyway). I'm shy myself and aproaching her would be hard (even the thought of it got my heart racing). So one day i decided today is the day. Now or never. I tried catching her attention. Had to do this for about 15 minutes, waving my hands around as if trying to catch a fly, trying to get the movement to catch her eye (yeah this sounds silly) and i even took 3 cds and started juggling them. Finally i got her attention. This was about 15% of the work. I was gonna go over there, to her store but decided to "call her over" using a hand gesture. We met up in the centre of the mall wallkway and it was as easy as that. I said soemthing like: Hi, i'm Adrian. I'm sure you've noticed me working in the store oposite you. I was wondering if you would like to go have coffee or something during a lunch break some day? And that was it. I gave her my number, told her she should think about it before giving me an answer and later that day i got the text saying yes. I was scared to death, my palms were sweaty and i'm almost sure i might have wet myself a bit (it really wasnt that bad in all honesty). The thing about aproaching a girl is that we as guys tend to over think it. A few months after me and this girl met we talked about the "day i asked her out" and she told me that girls find it just as scary when a guy aproaches her. So don't think for one second she is at ease. She accepts the akwardness because she is feeling it just as much. So to make a long story short. Since you say there are more than one playing field, i woudl suggest doing a similar thing. Try get her attention and meet her half way. Be polite and give her time to think about an answer. Dont make her answer you right there on the spot. Thats about as much as i can help you. Good luck  What you said was what I already had in mind. But you've reinforced my courage to do it by giving me an example. I will feel much more at ease doing it knowing how someone else has also done it. One of my friends did that but he never explained any further. Thanks a lot! I was also wondering, should I add her on facebook before even doing any of this, so I'd know if she already has a boyfriend, or would it sell out my "game" too much?

    religion

If a God exists he's so superior to us that he's probably not even part of the same dimension. Every religion says he's perfect, so theoretically we can all agree on that. Why should people even bother joining different religions? It's interesting some people support the idea that humanity is made to believe. Is being atheist natural? Nature does expect us to resist it a little, though.
  5. Nah no cultural differences I just still have ego problems and get paranoid easily I guess :P But yeah, I suppose it will never be a good idea to go and talk with her when she's talking with her friends or in a place I'm not supposed to be at, right? See we're playing Badminton now, we have various playing fields or whatever they're called in english, and theres a gap between where she plays and where I do since I'm a bit ahead so... kinda tough I guess. EDIT: Ok so I just remembered something, there was this day at the beginning of the year where I was a little bit upset and that girl saw me arrive at sports class. She asked me why I looked so tired and I responded a bit harshly, then apologized. That, added up to the ego problems I had, may have given her a bad impression, I don't know. I don't know if she paid attention to the times I might have shown to have an ego, really. I'm having doubts now though, I really don't know if she has any prejudice against me.
  6. I beleive it's time we discussed the 3 second rule again. if you can't pull the trigger and talk to her in 3 seconds, you will over think everything. Next time you have sports class, strike up a conversation with her. if it goes well, ask her to do something with you later [some sort of mutual event or activity that you'll both enjoy]. Best advice is to just do it without making a big thing of it. Making a big deal out of it will only cause you to over think the details. Yes, I think I have understood that, thanks, but let's suppose we're in sports class, and we're not even playing together, how/when should I approach her? See, I feel that if I don't have a good reason to come and talk with her, it will look "obvious" that I want to be her boyfriend.
  7. I'm probably gonna write a lot, serious problem here, if you can't be bothered reading just pass. I'm not very social. I have a big ego apparently. For as much as I know I do spend too much time in my bubble thinking about myself. I've been trying to change for a month or two and I did make progress, but I feel it's too late for the school I'm at now, I got a bad reputation already and it's incredibly hard to get around it. Next year I will go to another school so I should have a clean start from there on, but I just got myself more problems now and I feel like facing them as a final try before I leave highschool. In sports class, our class is mixed up with another. There's a girl from the other class who I would really like to ask out, even if it's only for trying. But once again I'm not sure how I should do this. I know I must absolutely not calculate my moves too much, if at all. I must sound like it's just something trivial, but how could I do that? I have the feeling that people will talk in my back if I ask her out, and I feel she will be freaked out if I tell her I'd like to meet up with her sometime. One of my friends does so, he asks them out straight away but I don't know how the hell he does so. What's a good place to ask her? What's a good moment and most imporantly, what to say? Is it even right to ask to meet them during the first conversation, like "hey you look like someone i'd like to know wanna meet at x place" or something, when you don't know them at all?
  8. Funnily that happened before. Apparently it gets working again if you refresh... I reuploaded it once already to see if it would fix the problem, I really don't know what's going on. There is no copyright message or anything. I tried. Even closed and re-opened the browser, but still no luck. :( Do you happen to have another computer? You could try from there, to see if it depends on computers. From both I have, it's working at the moment. The sound stopped working once when I tried skipping a part of the video, but then I refreshed and it was fine.
  9. I may come a little late but I'd really like to express my opinion on this. This quest was ridiculously easy. Any Master quest is far harder. The Pest Queen was easier to kill than the Kalphite Queen. And the puzzles? Please. Mourning's Ends Part II took me TEN hours. While Guthix Sleeps took me eight hours. Legend's quest, Monkey Madness & all those old master quests took me over 5-6 hours. This new Grandmaster quest barely took me two or three. It's built in the same, lame way as Nomad's Requiem, except the boss fight in Nomad's Requiem was epic, while the boss fight of Void Stares Back was the equivalent of hitting a sand bag for 15 minutes. This may be in the grandmaster quest list in game. But that doesn't make it a grandmaster quest. Because this doesn't meet the expectations of a grandmaster quest. Also, if I may add: ^a little downfall parody, reviewing the quest. Enjoy. :P
  10. Funnily that happened before. Apparently it gets working again if you refresh... I reuploaded it once already to see if it would fix the problem, I really don't know what's going on. There is no copyright message or anything. How do you mean "legit"?
  11. The second of it's kind I release, here's a remixed version of the boss fight of the Void Stares Back! Took me a good while to find all the sound effects and synchronize them, but I'm proud of the result. Constructive critiscism is more than welcome, enjoy ;) Also, a 720p HD version is available!
  12. Funny the first one is nearly equal to how I imagine my character while he's questing :P same haircut and all... It looks really nice!
  13. I did my first Dagannoth King raid today, and found it worth talking about on my blog. So here's the little adventure of mine along with a few fellows from my clan. My friend Bella organised this Dagannoth King raid today as a clan event. For me and her, it was our first time in that dungeon. We were three, and only one of us knew his way down there; fortunately for us he was level 138. We were a bit nervous at first, seeing the kind of inventory it took to fight those Kings and all. Crossing the dungeon alone was a thrilling adventure for us, not knowing what to expect. When we got to the Kings, it was a bit hard to start the real raid: Bella was the mage, she was the one who had to go in first in order to lure Rex away and she was a bit worried. But it didn't take us long to settled there and start taking care of those huge creatures. At first you feel a bit confused, but then it gets really easy. With Prayer on, you barely get hit. My tortoise ended up disappearing with about eight Saradomin Brews inside, and I couldn't take them in my inventory because I was still full of potions. Lost some money there, but entirely recovered it since we got a Dragon Hatchet drop shortly after. The money was split and so I got 840k gold from that. Later, the mage ended up forgetting about Prayer points going down and was forced to teleport out, escaping right in time before getting killed. I also forgot about my Prayer points shortly after, lost Deflect Mage and nearly died to Primus; my Ring of Life saved me at the last moment. Guess the lesson we got from this was that these bosses are fairly easy to kill when you're paying attention, but if you let your Prayer go down it becomes deadly. It's really worth it going down there as a team. The drops seem to be quite frequent, and they're very good drops. The teamwork it demands is also enjoyable. If you haven't tried it, give it a shot whenever you can. ;) May Zaros be with you!
  14. That's because you already have the skill requirements. I'd rather fight the KQ hundreds of times than get all those reqs. Some skill requirements are just ridiculously high. Meh, I didn't do hard diaries, can very well survive without these too anyway.
  15. Because of all the alternatives to grinding it offers while still being an MMO. Originally because of questing. I love adventure games and this one is fantastic. Too bad I'm down to one quest a month now that I'm a Quest Caper, really. Also for the community. Always superior to other MMO's.
  16. Is there a BoB that doesn't attack? Or something that could replace it easily?
  17. sorry, i don't read the tip.it times for this lowly settling-of-scores by a "reflected author" who makes mistakes on purpose because "it should make you read it twice..." get over yourself. I don't see any reason why your articles should be chain-published to feed your ego. Den's contributions to the runefest thread makes me wonder why he wasn't the one to write the tip.it times article on the topic (I'll freely assume he wasn't asked, it was invariably " your job"). sorry, articles from other locations (Hi Stokenut and WG) were already published in August, were more personal accounts of the happenings, and to put it bluntly, better reads. tip.it times beaten at their own game... If you have a yak, you know the DYK. if you don't have a yak, fewer know that an imp can bank two items, also from pvp worlds, with (i believe) 71 hunter. Way to sound like a [bleep]ing [bleep] Nacho trying to have a go at someone who writes articles for free for the amusement of others. Before you go bashing his work how about we see some of yours? Let me put it "bluntly", your a person who feels everything they think is automatically correct, if someone says something your the first to jump in and "correct" them. Maybe you should keep your opinions to yourself and stop having a go at other people, [bleep]ing moron. He shouldn't keep his opinions for himself. He's got as much right to speak up his opinions as you do. It's you who should ignore his post if you're only interested in reading arguments defending the article when you open this thread. I do partly agree with tortilliachp. Why are you assuming that people are grinding for the fun of it? The whole point of the article is that they don't do it for the fun of it, or at least it's not their main goal. You can very well tell that these people aim for some kind of "ultimate account" which they plan using for fun later on, but they never get to the part where they have fun. No, we shouldn't care about how people like to have fun. But we should start caring when those people start having way too much influence in the progress of the game. See how it's becoming more elitist because of these elite diaries, and a level 120 skill? That's the problem. The game should remain as accessible as possible to everyone who pays for it and therefore contributes to its improvement, and not manipulated by hardcore players/no-lifers that whine all the time just because they can't find anything else to do in real life. You have the freedom to enjoy the game the way you want. But your freedom still ends where other people's freedom begins. And you've also barely read the article, this is actuallity I'm dealing with. Don't expect me to take into account random bashing for the lulz.
  18. How is it a recycled topic, when nobody ever considered the idea? Look around you. How many people on RS have a "journey > destination" mentality? If you say this has been brought up many times before, then show me the "many times". I wanna see how many people out there, in the past few years, have considered the same idea. Especially on fan sites, where playing for the sake of fun is highly discouraged/completely ignored/not even thought of in the first place. Sure, I'd be glad to. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=471 http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=455 http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=443 http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=420 http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=414 Those are another five articles on the same topic written for the Times in the past half year. I don't need to go into "the past few years" or even to other fansites. I don't doubt that you wrote the article using your own opinions and observations. I am merely pointing out that we have this same topic explored once a month, with little new material and few new opinions being presented each time. Ah, thanks for the links. Quite glad to see I'm not the only one in fact. Still, this isn't a recycled topic yet. Until any damage is done in the current "standard" mentallity, it's always fresh for debate, and debate on this is needed. Well the fact is, some people aren't glad with those capes. They go for 200mil exp and what not, from my point of view it's borderline masochism. The capes may be a potential factor but not the main reason.
  19. Today, the article I had written for Tip.It Times has been chosen as one of the two articles for this week. Even though it got a bit ignored for being posted next to an article about the attention-drawing RuneFest, written by a member much more popular than me, I think its still worth mentioning here. It's one of the discussions I'd really like to have with someone who's opinion is the complete opposite, guess someone may show up for that around. But, before going deep into that topic I'd like to sum up my previous week on Runescape. Ever since that last quest, I've been doing a few things here and there besides training Ranged. As they updated Court Cases, I decided to have a go at it. Just solved the Mugger case, it was a bit like a miniquest, I quite enjoyed it. I was tempted to go on and do harder court cases, but I had to leave early that day and keep forgetting about it ever since. Guess I'll end up doing one after my next farming run, now that I mention it. I've also done my first raid on General Graardor. I'm not sure about how good it turned out compared to average raids, but it looked pretty bad to me. I was with a friend of mine in a random Bandos team. After around six kills, I'm not sure of what really happened but the General stopped attacking the tank and went loose on us. I was unfortunately his first target, and since I had Deflect Ranged on, and wasn't expecting this at all, he killed me with two melee hits. No worries there though, my grave got blessed and I had more than enough time to get all my stuff back. However, when I came back the raiding party had split up, the adventure ended there. Surely I'll get back to it sooner or later, but next time I'll have a go on the Armadyl boss instead. Another important happening this week has been my level 90 in Ranged, my last milestone before level 99. This is almost halfway to the end, and it's proven me just how tedious skilling can be. If it wasn't for Slayer somehow making it enjoyable, I'd probably have given up already. All this experience in Ranged allows me to deal much more damage than I ever did in the days when I played with level 70 in all my combat skills, so I'm sure level 99 will be worth it in the end for boss hunting and PvP (not PKing, just minigames. I don't PK, ever). Now about that article. I do find it a shame that players are so focussed on skilling these days. See, by doing skills I don't mean skilling in general, I myself level up my skills when I need to, and I'm getting a couple of 99's. The "skilling" I talk about is what I'd call pointless skilling. 200 million experience in Runecrafting, untrimmed Slayer and Summoning Capes, even some 99's like Agility or Firemaking, that's just skilling for the sake of skilling and not for the fun of it. Why do people put themselves through all the dull monotomy of skilling when there's nothing in for them in the end? That's borderline masochism. I'm planning to get 99 Ranged and Construction, but those goals of mine have purposes in the end, which are PvPing and entirely finishing my house. I have content to unlock, and I chose enjoyable ways of getting there. For instance, I train Ranged through Slayer, to avoid monotomy as much as possible. There are quite a few skills I have never trained ever since I reached the maximum requirements for quests, because they're just pointless to train anymore. Why do it if I'm not getting fun out of it? As I often say, one wise man once said the journey was more important than the destination. Guess there's nothing much to add besides that. May Zaros be with you!
  21. The Runefest one was an interesting read. The first line was a bit cheesy and almost turned me off, the "oh I know this article is fail dudes" part at the end was unnecessary, but the content was good. I've never been to Runefest and doubt I ever will, so I was interested in reading this sort of report. As for my own article I'd just like to add this. One wise man once said "the journey is more important than the destination". A very true saying I like to remind in these cases.
  22. I'm assuming he means 0-99, which would make the number of tasks needed a lot more than 600, as you cannot use Kuradal until 75 Slayer & would have to use the lower masters at the beginning which would therefore generate less xp per task. I'd hazzard a very rough guess at about 1200 - 1500 tasks from start to finish - but as previously stated that would really depend on what tasks you were assigned. I don't think 1-75 Slayer would ever add up 600 tasks to whatever number of tasks it would take from 75 to 99.
  23. Just wondering, how many Slayer tasks does a player complete in average when getting 99 Slayer?
  24. Durial321 and n0valyfe. Yes, finding a huge glitch and having the guts to go rampage on other players knowing you'll get banned makes you a hero for me. :P
  25. 95 Prayer? These diaries are just too way out of reach for me. Well at least they'll improve the older ones  This update finally got me to do the court cases... it's pretty fun actually. As for the new quest I better not even get started. The quest isn't "outdated", what's the point in removing it? As far as I know the NPC's are still there and they probably stay there. The quest was doing no harm to anything, it was actually a fun quest.
