The Back Room
Put my opinions in bold next to the part of the rules that they relate to. Regardless, I will be once again playing the Lichten empire!

The Back Room
Got a 100/100 on my NYSSMA for the cello that I probably didn't deserve (messed up really badly in the middle), but I will not be stubborn for once and accept it. Mission accomplished. :D

Europa Universalis 3
And remember that they are still French, ancestors of the armies that lost the world wars faster than if the Germans had been unopposed. Just gotta give them the chance to wave their white flag and flee. :P

Isn't it the whole point of Meson Blasters to not blow holes in the ship's hull? (Aka onboard fight scene friendly)

The Cursed Planet
The thing is that as players, we don't inherently know how we feel. If we were actually the people, we could instinctively know how much energy we're using by how we feel when we use our powers.

The Cursed Planet
Oh, mana bar that is visible to the players too?

The Cursed Planet
Powers seem kinda limited. That's about it. :P

In the time before the Civil War in the United States, many people argued about abolition. Abolition is the legal prohibition and ending of slavery in the United States. To the people in the Northern States, who had factories to produce goods, many believed that slavery was morally wrong. However, in the Southern States, where slaves were needed to work in the plantations, slavery was not considered immoral. Also, in the Southern States, slaves were considered property and could be treated however the master of the plantation decided. Slaves lived together in small cabins, barely fed and clothed properly, and often worked in brutal conditions. They were often beaten, bloodied, and bruised, with scars in immense numbers across their backs. Some slaves escaped into the north and told their tales of the horrors of slavery, thus causing the North to demand the abolishment of slavery.

Unfortunately mass use of science and calculations is frowned upon in games. :P

Due to the immense difficulty of the research puzzles, such a low merits to research point conversion would basically push the puzzles further into obsolesence. Just my two cents.

And then you find out that they are merely mental constructs, because you're slowly drifting away into insanity.

Yes, you can take +2 strength. Seems to help balance it out with Pathfinder races. I was just make sure that it wasn't stacking +2 strength with +2 strength to make +4 strength.

What are the bonuses and penalties for warforged in terms of attribute?

The Mark of Das
What is the inevitable Archon though?

The Mark of Das
Perhaps not against the crazy variety of zombies and assorted dangers that might come. :P The first session will likely be on May 21st or the Wednesday before that, as I have NYSSMA on the 14th. Hopefully all the character sheets could be posted by then.

But they're a necessary prop on House. "WE NEED TO DEFIBRILATE, STAT! CLEAR! *KACHUNK* HE'S NOT RESPONDING *KACHUNK* FULL POWER. NO, THAT COULD CAUSE DAMAGE. I DIDN'T GET WHERE I AM BY NOT TAKING RISKS! *KACHUNK KACHUNK*"

IMPORTANT NOTE At the beginning, you may choose not to ever take one of these four classes for your current character (Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Wizard, Oracle, Summoner, Witch, Artificer, Priest, any other powerful full spellcasting class that I missed) and start with 15 point buy. These classes are already more powerful as it is, and it turns out that low pointbuy gimps these classes less than the martial (melee/range fighting) classes, so I will be giving the other classes a few extra attribute points. IMPORTANT

Rivers Run Red
Well I'll be there for around thirty minutes.

Oh, I was referencing the heroic array, which went something like 18,18,16,12,10,8 or something. And I was on the GiTP forums talking about applying stats to real life, where they were saying that 16-18 is already around the human limit, and that it was highly unrealistic to have normal people with anything more than a 5 point buy. I'm sorry if that seemed like a direct attack, but it was more of contrasting this campaign with a higher point-buy campaign than about specific characters. I think my character had three or four -over 16- stats too. Yeah, strength, dexterity, and wisdom.

I don't think I've made any mention to you anywhere? Edit: Except for the flavor text on the opening post I am just confused because I don't understand where the sniping is occuring. If you could point out the things that you felt were snipes, then we can continue the discussion in PM, but if things did seem like sniping to you, I'm sorry, but it was not intentional or something that I had in mind when I was typing it.

Rivers Run Red
Ah well, I won't be able to make it to this session, since I have chamber orchestra around that time. Hopefully someone can finish the city creation?

Dream Ender
I still don't understand. Is it fighting, dungeon crawl, puzzle?
