  1. My name is pretty uncommon, but I did get one result of some judge in New Jersey. With my middle name, it just shows my relatives and a few of my track times.
  2. Yes this is correct (except I believe Saradomin is law) but I didn't feel like typing out some long paragraph. Yes, Armadyl has never done anything evil according to the little information we have on him so far, but Saradomin is far from perfect. His followers teamed with those of Zamorak to hunt down the last powerful Zarosians and eliminate the Zarosian empire, and then practically erased it from history. I guess what I'm trying to say is Jagex's characters are not one-sided, and actually have some depth (well most of them do - I've been hearing some ugly things about Nomad's Requiem ;) ). So you can't really call a war between the Gods "black and white". I may be wrong, but unless there is some large plot in the works or a connection I have missed, the only solid connection to the GWD is the number 4.
  3. Tbh, these CE hints could be applied to almost anything. Especially when the actual update doesn't exist yet  And can I have some quote that says the GWD factions are specifically good or evil? In my opinion, good and evil are a perspective so this "black and white" stuff doesn't really fit. I mean, I see where you get the idea that Bandos and Zamorak are absolute evil and Saradomin and Armadyl are good, but if you look into the deeper parts of Runescape's story you will see that actually, they are all evil :P Seriously, they're fighting a war. I doubt Jagex would limit their storytelling possibilities in this way just to make their plots easier to follow.
  4. I guess Nomad's quest is this year's only GM quest and the ritual quest isn't one. I just recently finished WGS and looks like Lucien wants to rule over the other Mahjarrats using the Stone of Jas as leverage. He might bring it to the ritual. I hope Azzandra doesn't die but I can't remember if he ever mentioned if he's going to attend the ritual himself. Of course Azzanadra will attend the Ritual, it's the first Ritual he hasn't been trapped in a pyramid during in a long, long time. Unless there's some huge complication, regaining his power is the most important thing.
  5. I'm no fast food expert, but I could name a few important items (in no particular otder): -taco bell soft shell tacos -subway Philly Cheesesteak with jalapenos, banana peppers, and lettuce -Papa Ginos cheese and pepperoni (I don't really consider this fast food, but hey, why not) -Tom Wahl's cheeseburger and maybe some fries and a root beer. But the most important thing is they don't make it disgustingly unhealthy. I ate greasy burgers, Blts, and subway three days in a row when I went away over Christmas vacation, and my stomach is still recovering  EDIT: missed a couple important things: the restaurant has to be in Port Clyde, Maine, and the root beer has to be Port Clyde General Store root beer. And it needs lobster rolls. And it needs to somehow be awesome but not attract too many people so the town maintains the same atmosphere.
  6. The Panama Canal was the first efficient connection between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. It allowed easy transport by boat between Western Europe and Eastern Asia. DOUBLE AMG: EASTERN LANDS AND SAILING!!11one.
  7. I heard void doesn't appear under the grave if you die during the fight, is this true? I guess I should ask, are any items lost besides deteriorating items and barrows etc?
  8. Brilliant! A plan: The plAnets aRe set to aligN; kith anD kin will fight. More than one judGe is fAted to die thiS yeaR howevEr. This one seems fairly obvious. In the next three months, the Ritual will occur in a big MotM GMQ in which the Mahjarrat and the Kin (Dragonkin) fight, or perhaps "kith and kin" is just a phrase referring to the Mahjarrat as family. Multiple Mahjarrat will die in the quest (or perhaps "this year" is meant literally, and we will only see one death in the GMQ, and Lucien's story will be dragged out for another few months before we kill him. Now wouldn't that be a pain). A man, a plan, a canal seems to relate to Kudos Island and the barge.
  9. In sosolid2k's video, the titan hits 1 damage on Nomad at the end and bones appear. Methinks he may have accidentally made future quests much simpler for himself ;-)
  10. OH MY ZAROS He still has more than half his brews left, and he demolished the berserker form with one spec. *Jealous*
  11. RuneScape Name: Bentomat F2P or P2P: P2P I would like to be added please.
  12. Someone has the name God. His clan chat is called Heaven.
  13. You are on the forums of a Runescape help site. The "you waste your life on video games" arguement is not valid. Although the way you said it was slightly comical.
  14. We may get our high level skiller quest before the end of the month, as Fairytale 3 is long overdue. Tbh, I really hope this wasn't the GMQ with 80+ reqs they promised, seeing as those aren't really reqs and this quest was not at all as epic as they have been making GMQs out to be. But yes, I believe calling this Grandmaster was the right decision. The fight provides the first real challenge for questers, one that cannot be avoided by using a guide. The only problem was the lack of epicness.
  15. [hide] [/hide] Please work. iDonkey Kong, Snipe #1ish. Edit: Ffs, let me go find that image upload thread. Edit again: Ok I figured it out. He was at the GE on World 60 tele-othering random people. He's the one with the green phat and broav.
  16. Thank you very much guys. By the way, when you say Avira, do you mean the free edition or the one you buy from the site? I use the free one, but I'm wondering if I should buy it for the newer computer. Better a hundred or whatever dollars now than five hundred later when the computer crashes.
  17. BIG difference: The Corp Beast after Summer's End is not part of the Quest Tree, and the one you kill in the quest does not require incredible skill heights. If there is something we are all missing that makes this quest manageable, fine. Great, grand, gravy. I don't think there is such a thing. I think Jagex just wanted to cater to those who crave combat, and disregarded the casual players (like myself) that do not engage in high stakes, at the expense of the Quest Cape they long ago earned the right to wear. Tell you what - When I get on this weekend, this quest will be my only goal. If I do not complete it by the end of the weekend, then you are right - Jagex has destroyed a class of questers who did not spend hours throwing knives at yaks, or flipping yew logs. I really can't judge a quest that I haven't had a chance to look at for myself, but it seems to me us story lovers will just need to think a bit harder and pay some attention during combat for once.
  18. Leave MHL alone, coming from her, "lacks story" is practically a compliment. Although I haven't had time to finally get 70 prayer and do the quest, from what I've read it wasn't the greatest plot. However, with such high requirements, it has to be Grandmaster. Stormveritas, while it is true that this quest has significantly increased the required combat levels for the quest cape, I don't think it's out of the reach of people my level. At least, I hope it isn't because I hate training combat :P But remember that when Corp was released, everyone thought it was unsoloable, but then people found new strategies and now it's been vidded many times. In a few weeks, there will be all sorts of guides and strategies, and everyone who wasted millions on supplies will be beating themselves up for missing some safespot or strategy. So basically, those who dislike grinding will just need more talent. And perhaps a laptop mouse :P If we hear for sure that Jagex is planning on nerfing it, I suggest a raid of RSOF Recent Updates. The quest is fine how it is.
  19. Sorry, I think both of those ideas are ridiculous, but it seems I'm outnumbered on the marijuana issue. Why exactly should a drug be legalized? And don't give me this "it's not a drug" cabbage - it's addictive and has detrimental effects on your health.
  20. :o oh dear. Today AVG is telling me I have about eight different Trojans, each in a different program file. From the above responses, I'm assuming you mean my AVG is junk and the computer is safe? And also, on my new computer I'm running Avira with the trial version of Norton, which is a pain in the rear but seems to be more secure. Should I just get rid of Norton?
  21. I remember when I was still a wee little noob, and I was doing the Prince Ali Rescue quest. At the time, trade limits, the GE, and gravestones didn't exist, and if you wanted an item, you made it yourself. I had never even heard of the concept of quest guides before, I literally walked back to Osman after each seperate part of the quest. After making the brass key and soft clay mould and bronze bar and rope and all that jazz, I embarked on the long journey from Al-Kharid to the Draynor jail. Somehow, I ended up at the crossroads south of Falador. At the time, instead of the Malignus Mortifier guy there was this random wizard. He was a few levels lower than me so I attacked him, and got pwned with all the quest stuff on me. When I got back to my stuff, there was some jerk who had picked it all up and refused to give it back. I didn't attempt Prince Ali Rescue again for at least a year.
  22. I recently got a message on my old computer with the AVG symbol, titled Resident Shield Alert. It looks legitimate. It shows two viruses called Trojan horse BackDoor Generic whatever, one moved to VIrusVault and the other Infected. The one that was infected says C:\Program Files\Avira\AntiVir Desktop\avscan[Caution: Executable File]. Is my avira somehow infected, or should I just throw the old thing out the window? Any help is appreciated.
  23. I've had a similar problem where the minimap goes black, or just loads whatever it should have looked like if it were part of the normal game graphics (ground and trees) while keeping the correct icons. I've found sometimes it is fixed by just leaving and re-entering the area, although I don't know what causes it. It usually happens in a place like Pest Control where there is a high concentration of people and lots of loading. If it's a permanent problem in HD, I have no idea what to tell you :P
  24. Wowzers. Good fight quest cape. That last boss really isn't fair; he's a soul wars noob :P [hide] According to RSOF, 99 hp is not a requirement, as the attack only hits your hp-1. Has anyone found a good way to fight Nomad? Strategy or not, I'm going to be pwned. [/hide]
