  1. Gratz T0. I logged in for the first time in 2 months just to watch this fight. ;)
  2. Never heard of VDC. Gratz nevertheless.
  3. Personally, I'm more excited for the release of Killzone 3. That's just me though ;) OT: I can't really say much with 99% gurantee, except for the fact that more small/mid-sized clans will start pking more often. That will probably be a huge thing for Tip.it. In today's PvP system, there are only 4 worlds. When a small/mid-sized clan pks in deep wild, they'll usually be smashed by a bigger clan. If the old wildy is re-introduced, all worlds will be available for pking. This will give smaller clans a bigger chance and more reasons to pk. I'm personally looking forward to this update; not as a player, but as a watcher. I'm kind of interested in what direction the clan world will be taking from this update.
  4. In Tip.it, there's relatively not much propaganda being spread around. It only happens from time to time when a hated clan is heating things up (e.g Divine Vindicators). RSC is a different story though. A lot of propaganda is always being spread there, most of which comes from Top 10 clans such as Reign of Terror. Believing all of them would be considered stupid, but reading them is still quite fun, especially when another clan/team retaliates with trolls and flames. They're always a good read when you're bored. :P
  5. Lol welcome to Tip.it. I expect some good fights from you. Although, I suggest not to put your TS3's IP on your forums; the public can see it. Just saying.
  6. I usually range if it's allowed, since I got 99 range. I just love range lol.
  7. For me, PvP is a more fun option. The battle area is huge, allowing you to choose from a much wider range of tactics in compared to the number of tactics you are capable of applying in CWA. It's more satisfying to tank off the enemies in PvP (except in GDZ though). You also gain something. It just satisfies people when they get loot. Also in PvP, you get elements such as surprise, hunting, being hunted, and ambush. If your clan happens to unexpectedly bump into another clan during a PK trip, it would turn into an intense battle. Clans also "hunt" other clans when they get word of them being out. When a clan finds out they're being hunted, they might set up an ambush. You don't get these types of things in CWA since all fights in CWA are usually planned, whether they're short prep or week-long prep. None of them are sudden encounters which turns into an intense fight. People don't like PvP because you have a risk of loosing your gear. Well, rune sets aren't that expensive tbh. Hell, even a poor pure f2p guy like me was able to afford it back when I still played.
  8. It's possible for some of the top clans to move on to other games, probably MMORPGs as not everyone has a PS3/Xbox360. As for the small clans, I don't think so. It would be a difficult migration, but it would be pretty interesting if most of the top clans move on to another game and continue their rivalries there, involving the other clans of that game.
  9. Weighing up the benefits and the drawbacks, do you think it's better to have members who log in just to war, or members who play the game regularly? Members who play the game regularly, obviously. Although, you should still be grateful if you have some "retired" members still coming to some wars when they get on from time to time. What do you do? Do you play the game or do you just log in for wars? Lol I don't really play the game anymore. I just get on like once every 30-40 days to get a rough view on the new updates. However, I get on IRC on the weekends except when I don't feel like it. If you were a Clan Leader, would you focus on your members just coming to wars or encourage them to try new skills and to play the game more regular to get involved with the community? I would encourage them to try and develop new skills, but I don't want to force them. They have their own lives, after all. Well, I was never a leader, and I never planned to be one, so I wouldn't really know. Do you know anybody who only logs in for wars, and if so do you think it's good or bad? Why? Ya, I know quite a lot. Personally, if I was the clan leader, I would be plenty grateful. You have these extra men coming to wars when they have their own things to do in real life. Yes, it would be nice if they become more active, but then again, they have their own lives to manage. PS: I love you Jack <3
  10. When I was TPR, many members usually needed to go to the washroom during war (including me) Like they always say, Real Life > Runescape
  11. So you think staying in on A SATURDAY NIGHT warring until 8am Sunday morning before going to bed is easier than getting up for a war at maybe 12.00(17.00)-14.00(19.00) est (gmt) on the Satruday? Staying up late at night I find tends to make it a pain in the ass getting up in the morning. I know I'd be pissed if I had to go to a pkri that lasted til 3am, then realise that in 3-4hours I'm going to have to start getting ready for uni/work/school. Then join a GMT clan? It's not the game's fault that it has more EST players than GMT. Sure you can fight on GMT timezone on a weekend, but what about weekdays? Clans PK/fight in weekdays too, you know. If clans were to fight at 4pm GMT, then the EST players (which has a larger population) will miss it, due to school/work. Last time I checked, there were more days on the weekdays than on the weekend. I completely understand what you mean, but what can we do? Form more GMT clans? Well, only if people are willing to. It's up to you to convince them.
  12. I do agree with the wilderness and cwa part but... I wouldn't really say "no reason for someone to join...." I'd rather say "people aren't interested in the clan world anymore" Sure, many people join the RSB clan world nowadays because majority of RSB clans do activities such as P2P clan warring, God Wars Dungeon, Skilling, Boss Hunting, and stuff like that, stuff that are currently considered "interesting" by majority of runescape players. However, there is still a reason to join an RSC/TIF clan since they are obviously superior than the RSB clans. If RSB clan world players who are deeply interested in clan warring realize that fact, then they would surely think about joining a TIF/RSC clan.
  13. There was already a topic like this. Something like "what clan would you rather join" or something like that
  14. Because majority of the players are in the EST timezone? Also, for GMT players, they can fight in the EST timezone if they're willing to sleep a little later. For EST players, it would be a pain in the ass to wake up like 5-7 am in the morning to fight a pixeled war (unless of course, they don't have a life) Don't forget it's easier to stay up late night than wake up early in the morning lol. (I bet all of you should know that since we all know the pain of waking up early for school/work lol)
  15. The thing is, there's a lot of rivalry, competition, and rivalry these days. Reputation means quite a lot. That's why TWR clans resolve to recruiting experienced members only. Sure, their requirements won't have something like "must not be a 141prod" but what they're doing instead, is raising their requirements to the point where level 80/90 "noobs" cannot join them. That's why all the top 5 clans have requirements such as "must have 100 pvp rune sets" or "120 combat with all 90+ combat stats" Many TWR clans are also trying to do this, such as TK, T0, and DF having a req of 110+ cb. I can understand why they would do this. Sure, those so called "141ners" can learn if you teach them but it would be far more efficient and easier if you recruit experienced mems only. You wouldn't want to loose an important rivalry clan war just because a certain newcomer was k0ed, right? Although it would definitely benefit the clan world if we welcome these newcomers with open arms, leaders of top clans will find this hard to do nowadays.
  16. It will be extremely hard for them to recover at this rate but I can understand their situation. They started the clan knowing the possibility that it might end up this way. God knows how much ex-DI mems have already quit the game so they already knew it was going to be a tough challenge trying to bring back their throne. As for the crash war, well I don't really care about it. A lot of crash wars happen. If you check RSC and scan through Clan Discussion, there will be countless topics about a certain crash war.
  17. Well as much as others hate to admit, RSC seems to have more interesting topics (especially in CD) so people tend to read RSC more and TIF less (since all the big stuff about the clan world are obviously happening there) It's also kinda fun to read the troll arguments sometimes lol.
  18. Not really but cwa clans should really try stepping up to PvP. A rune set these days are only worth 150k-200k. You can easily get that amount especially if you're p2p. I really recommend starting with small matched PvP wars since it's really fun. If you refuse to do so then that's fine but you're really missing out a lot of fun. That's just my opinion :^_^:
  19. Gratz Downfall looks like you simply smacked them around
  20. Cause it's fun? I personally enjoyed my time in Tko Blitz more than any other team or clan. I'm actually glad it was the last clan-world-related group that I joined before I retired from the game.
  21. lol it was funny reading the posts of the angry RoT kids in RSC. Had a good laugh reading all those RSD v RoT related topics.
  22. Your clan should be the last one saying that statement. I believe you used to rely on numbers to win before your slump began. Gratz CK. Keep up the good work.
