I am making this more difficult than it should be because I haven't found the fire cape to be something I wanted. Boss fighting isn't anything I do cartwheels about. Other than the diary requirement, I don't see a point to having a fire cape even with the better stats. Anyway, I figure if I don't put my best effort into at least trying, I have no concrete reason to complain about not having the elite gloves. Thanks for putting up with my n00b questions. :P

:wall: Did not think about using soul split. Is it worth taking the Fally 3/4 shield (or wear it instead of Zammy book) for the prayer restores? Something else I noticed is drinking a super restore would bring my range level up to 120 after I'd been potted for a while. Is that a glitch or not? I'm still figuring out the best balance of brews and super restores/super prayer pots, but getting this cape seems more of a pain than it's worth.

I've done 3 attempts and died at the same place. When Ket-Zek and Tok-Xil spawn in the same waves, they like to spawn either together or spaced enough apart that I can't safe spot one without the other attacking. The best I've been able to do is deflect mage and kill the Tok-Xil first, then hide and heal.

Living rock caverns is where you need to be. ATM, there's not a map of the area on the linked page, but searching around for living rock caverns should get you one. W84 and W77 are the LRC worlds with lots of people. There's a bank box next to a bunch of tents and boxes. I say yes. Everyone gets attacked once in a while down there, so take a weapon/armor if you're going to fight back or you can run away, just watch out for the strikers (rangers). I have no idea.

Any advice on inventory and gear? Also, anyway to ensure a best chance of killing Jad? :lol: I don't want to spend on buying more Barrows armor or hunt for someone to lend me d claws. The best range gear I have is black d hide and snakeskin boots, crystal bows or rune xbow with broad or diamond (e) bolts, barrows gloves and fury. I've got some overloads, extreme sets, Sara brews and super restores. I've read a few guides about Jad, but I think it's going to come down to finding out the routine on my own.

Only thing left is to kill Jad. :ohnoes: Not looking forward to wasting 2 hours for nothing. I'm expecting to die to Jad (if not before) a lot.

I don't; I tried but couldn't do any damage on them, despite being 94 slayer. I could tolerate making the fire cape a prerequisite for one of the diaries. But having it for multiple diaries (Karamja & Fremennik) is pure Jagex [cabbage]hookery. You have to have 93 slayer and the fire cape OR bought the ability with slayer points. I do think it's a bit stupid to make a mini game reward a requirement for a diary (funny how they left out void gear with Fally), I understand killing Jad is logical after needing to kill a Ket-Zek for the hard section.

FUUUUUU- Well, at least I don't have to kill all 3 dks, too. <_<

Stupid question, but how do you save money using a servant? It's log-plank cost plus servant salary right? I've never used a servant so I don't know. SC tools I can't be bothered to get anymore. I got very tired of getting pk'ed. There are SC Clans that focus on non-combat sc, where both teams just gather the clay that way you earn more tools per hour and once the clay is exhausted the game ends after 1 minute of the clay exhaustion ;) Lately it's (fast sc) been getting crashed with pk'ers quite a lot. I'm not saying they aren't worth it, I just don't like dying.

Made it up to 97 construction. That was the major skill I trained with little bits here and there for those shattered heart rocks.

Monkey greegree guide You can get another talisman by talking to the baby monkey and borrowing his toy again. If he cries, either logout/login to try again or hide in a safe place for about 5 minutes when he's calmed down.
