You mean that's not what happens with these duo-trio-quad-quint teams? :blink: I thought the point of teaming was to make a dungeon crawl faster and, by splitting up the skills, that would happen. The crafters, fletcher and smithers make the armor/weapons, fishers and cookers make the food (that's the biggest chunk of my time: growing and topping potatoes) and the rangers, mages and meleers fight with their appropriate skills. Maybe I see this as natural to fall into roles from doing dungeon crawls in other games. Not doing it makes no sense to me.

I get the 99 blues after every cape, even the skills I love. I don't see this feeling as too much emphasis on getting a cape or not playing for fun, like others have said. It's that down feeling of having completed a goal with nothing else to do. Yeah, I could try maxing the skill, but I don't care about doing that. I tend to look ahead to see what else I could work on, or do something like star chasing or kill and evil tree.

Oh, I have the skills, I just wondered if a spear was that much better than baxe.

I currently have a gorgonite baxe bound, but have heard a spear would be better for the different attack styles. Which is better? Oh, and I haven't found any ore better than gorgonite to mine and nothing better from boss drops.

I've never had a problem killing this boss, even with crap armor and food, on any of my accounts. Try using melee slash attack next time.

I'm ranging ghouls atm to see if I can get them to give up a champion challenge and I get about 31k exp an hour off them. Is that on the low end of exp per hour, not counting chinning?

Super restores have never had any affect on special move bars. The only ways to restore that is to either drink a summoning pot, wait for it to recharge on its own or die.

Isn't there a "sell all" option which lets you sell 50k at a time?

Well maybe you should be smart and think outside the box and remember what day you last did the game so that next week on that day comes around and you dont have to go back everyday that next week and try... What about those players who can't even start it? I've gone through all chat options with Pikkupstix. I've spent 3 hours camped at his house, speaking with him every 15 minutes to ensure I haven't missed the 2 hour window and he just says, "oh, he's off relaxing somewhere." There's no "come back tomorrow" or "come back in 3 days".

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I chalked it up to me not getting the 2 hour timing right to catch Pikkenmix.

Just beat Nomad! After 5 deaths, I decided to go for a more stylistic ensemble of the pimp hat and Zammy god cape rather than Nezzy helm and prayer CoA.

This is going to be quite interesting with the life points and healing update. :P The waiting is getting to me though. Stupid update happens just as I'm crawling into the tent. :rolleyes:

All this just in time for my first fight with Nomad. As if I wasn't nervous enough, they changed the combat rules for hit points and healing. :rolleyes:

Yes, I read Shadow_Stalker's guide and will review it again. A couple questions about the fight: 1a. Is it possible to kill him using rocktails instead of brews/restores? 1b. Or should I wait until I can get Sara brews and restores/super restores? 2. Is it stupid to try to melee him for the whole fight? I do have ranged gear with ruby (e) and diamond (e) bolts, but I feel way more comfy tanking and I've heard being calm makes things easier. 3. Would it help to use steel titan scrolls when I summon one after dismissing my yak? If you want realism in this game, demand Jagex install bathrooms/outhouses.
