  1. I found them useful when chasing down an escaped, desert penguin. Those birds are *quick*. If you find you aren't using them as often, you might want to exchange them for shards (7 shards per pouch iirc).
  2. Just to clear up, 48 is min for Ape Atoll, though you'll fail frequently. The werewolf course is okay, but boring if you're wanting company. Wildy is okay if you keep ready for revs/pkers. If that gets old, try the agility pyramid.

oh really... OMFG THAT DUDE HAS LIEK 99 COOKING. TEACH ME PL0xx... 99 woodcutting took me about aa week starting from 94-99. I took about 6 hours cutting willows each day and thats about it. not really that hard, its a cinch. you're probably using the wrong method. And how long did it take to get from 1-94? Plenty of people want a skill cape, but they can't be bothered to put in the time to get one.
  4. I thought they forever ditched posting BTS last year.
  5. No need for me to even click the game link.
  6. Way back when I was new to RS, I only fell for one scam which wasn't successful. I'm hanging out in Falador and some guy asks, "Will you get something for me?" I'm not doing anything and agree. I follow him north to the chaos altar by the goblin village, all the while he's telling me about this wine I have to grab. I don't remember why he couldn't grab it, but I was a bit suspicious. He takes me into the building and tells me to pick up the wine off the table. I walk over, wondering what these monks were doing and why the guy was hanging out by the door. "Why are you at the door? I ask. "Imma keep the door shut to protect you from the monks," he said. "But what about the monks in here with me?" "Don't worry," he said. "I'll make sure the door is open after you pick up the wine." "Just leave the door open so I can get outside faster," I told him. Now I'm at the door playing the open/close game because if the monks outside are going to attack when I grab the wine, the ones inside would also. Guy wasn't happy about me. I remember when I first got members, asking about how to trim armor. A couple nice people told me no one could trim armor ever and it was only from TT.
  7. There are some at GWD.
  8. Try the Meiyerditch dungeon if you've done Legacy of Seergaze.
  9. If you're patient, you can make good money with battlestaves by buying from Zaff each day while wearing Varrock armor. Cheaper alternatives would be tiaras or gold amulets.
  10. This is for my "main" ( how I hate saying that). So using this and assuming easters are 200M ea (can be more depending on junk) then it seems the street price for these phats are: Purple = 425M Green = 625M So to buy either of these hats you will either need that much in street value of items, or that much cash, but people are rarely willing to accept cash so if you want to buy with pure cash you will need a good amount extra just to even get people to consider your offer. Oh my, that's a great help! Solves my curiosity and proves I'll never be able to buy a phat, lol.
  11. Lol, this is so confusing. I can afford to get a couple edibles, but I'd have to work for the remaining cash while the price keeps going higher. At least I have a better understanding of how rare trade works, so much thanks.
  12. I've looked into buying a green phat for a year, but I just don't understand the street market prices. When I look on RSOF, I see offers like "trading purple + easter" or "purple + 22 mints". I know what the offers are (easter is edible easter egg, etc.), but I'm really confused over the street prices. I haven't been able to get a straight answer, like green phat is 450M street or something, so it seems to me the price is whatever the seller wants it to be rather than something stable like before the GE. So what would be a good offer? It sounds so stupid when I reread it, so be kind to a newbie rare buyer. :P
  13. I always thought it was Camorra's grave.
  14. YES. Along with that is when they ask and you haven't answered them within 2 seconds, they start spamming ???. Yeah, that's going to get me to type faster. <_< I admit I'm not much of a talker in RS. I tend to ignore the chat in favor of browsing RSOF, these forums or read a book. If I don't want to talk, I don't say anything. I play this game as a game, not a social club. (Not directed at you, but for those who feel they have to force me into a conversation). Onto my rant: people who equate game knowledge with combat levels. Just because someone is 138/126 combat, doesn't mean they know everything; it means they enjoy training combat skills.
  15. About time. Wonder when they'll appear in my neck of the woods?
  16. 1.The clay has to be mined at the Varrock mine by the Champions Guild. 2. The soft clay has to be done in the Draynor pottery. I messed up making the soft clay. :P

An easier way of doing it is near a Karamja leprechaun, who can note the papayas, which cuts out the need to bank until you run out of scrolls. The reason I have sounds on is to hear when I'm done doing my activity, currently smelting bars, while I read a book.

I know why people use fruit bats - to get papayas - and I know why they do fruit fall near a bank - easy banking of papayas. What I don't get is why it has to be done right at the bank door. Is it pure laziness to not move 5 squares away from the door? The other part is the repetitive brrrrrr, plop-plop-plop, chitter sounds. Whenever I see a fruit bat out, I turn off all my game sounds - music, ambient and effects - but I can still hear the noise in my head. Guthix forbid when you get 3 or 4 people and their fruit bats in the same area. :wall: :ohnoes:
  19. Ooo, I can make my own mint cakes? I'll be super rich! Things like this mint cake economy confuse me. I understand how junk trading and the "normal" economy work, but why mint cakes? Why not those mjolnirs from the enchanted key?

Maybe a harpie bug lantern for the shield slot.

Just horrible. My family is more understanding since they are also gamers.
  23. Thanks for the info. I'm looking for something to wear in F2P other than my default clothes. Now I have things to save my gps.
  24. I know the trimmed armors (melee, mage and range) are available to F2P. Is there anything else?
