  7. Meh they've been using lasers to try to induce fusion for ages. The reactions dont last very long and I doubt we are going to get much energy out of it anytime soon. We should just use solar power and get more solar energy.

  9. Recently my laptop was repaired (2Nd time 2 hardware changes needed for this repair) and the screen and the motherboard needed changing. I first sent it of to a local company who were going to replace the screen as the screen had cracked and some of the LCD had leaked out. When they looked at it they said the motherboard was broken so it might need changing but they went ahead with changed the screen. A new monitor was ordered and it didn't work correctly because of the motherboard so the laptop had to be sent off to dell and they changed the motherboard (free) and the screen for £195 while the local company was going to fix it for £165. However when I got it back off dell rather then change the monitor they just fixed the crack and I presume fixed the LCD. How could another company offer to fix my screen and change the monitor for cheaper than dell and dell only fixed the crack and they charged more? What is actually better changing the monitor completely or jst fixing the screen like dell did?
