Especially in solo meds I find I have to die occasionally for pray, theres no point wasting the time farming buckthorns and its not like you'll ever get the coin drops for an altar :( Another little thing, if you're going to go through a room that'll unhood you when keying and you can afford to tank the hits/pray against the majority of it, take your hood off before going through, and re-equip after So many times I've been unhooded without realising and the been killed a few rooms later by accident and assuming I'm hooded

Try to place the ggs at "hubs" if that go off in more than one direction, also part of the problem is you only have 2 gates when soloing, even though meds arent that big you still have to be smart about your options when gating. Anything near the ht can probably be left ungated, expect near the very start of a dungeon As for pots, write it all out in your notes. I have a nice little dg setup in my ingame notes that I copied from a post on the dgs thread, and it helps loads. As for what level pot to make when (weak/reg/strong) just go by intuition, if you have an abundance of a certain herb dont be afraid to use it if itl speed up the making of the pot. also 94+strong pot = 105, which is the highest a skill req can be Oh, and dont be afraid of death, use your prayer as much as you can (even more important solo) inb4someone corrects me on some major mistake D: and heres my notes section: top one is the order for vines/flower room

Super restores restore prayer and summoning points too Think its praylevel*0.33 points per dose of super rest (so pretty much the same as one prayer pot dose) Due to the pretty much constant drinking of brews/rests at nomad, you can afford to go nuts with prayer (I found having pretty much all leeches on worked a treat) and you'll pretty much always be at near full prayer points i.e. you wont have to worry about prayer useage

Hi there dgs :) Just wondering if theres any tips/techniques going on improving keying times, at the moment I seem consistently stuck in the 30-40 minute range I write down everyones gates and every time I hit a room with lots of key doors I tend to write that down too, so keeping track of where doors are isnt a big problem I make a point of picking all herbs I see ofc, when pot doors happen they dont tend to be a problem either. How significant a benefit will making sure I get my team to make ragers (I'm usually the one that does this when dps) make? Gd time might be a problem, and I've noticed that when I've had someone that really knows what they're doing and directs people through the GDs right it really does make a difference Obviously I understand the more keying I do, the better I should get, just really looking for any tips/tricks that work well for you that I could try?

She also tends to do strings of magic/range attacks when she switches, so like: 4 mage, 5 range, 3 mage, etc with melee attacks randomly inbetween Sooo its partially effective to pray-switch between range/magic when she is on a string of that type, and tank the melee hits Armour defence doesnt really matter atall versus her so getting the most out of your protects is important, she's pretty tough

Item, Range Prot and rigour

Ok, so, how can I improve my current solo arma setup/tactic, currently using: V Helm, Arma Chest+skirt, Fury, alerter, CCBOW, Spectral, Unholy for minions+kc, Barrows gloves, sanakeskin boots, wealth Using ruby (e) til around 2/3 health, diamond (e) the rest, praying rigour+item+range protect, using ovls, yak first then switch to uni after yak, eee for spec Just did an 8 kills trip which frankly seems pretty awful, messed up the first one (didnt switch from broad bolts before going in >.<) but its still not atall great.. Accuracy was the main problem during the trip I'd say, using upto 4 or 5 brews on one kill just down to it being dragged out for that long Obvious problems: Range level (not 99), snakeskin boots (inf? Rangers are kinda outta price range for now), wealth (archers?), V helm (arma?)

So, heres what I did this month! Feeling this 99 a month thing is going fairly well sofar, and got a fair few others lined up for the coming months too :) Trying to not get them just for the sake of them, in the meantime I'm working on finishing up the elite diaries and all 90+ skills [spoiler=04/04/11 - 99 Attack] [spoiler=04/04/11 - 99 Strength and 138 Combat!] [spoiler=04/04/11 - 99 Defence] Finally a 138, though still need to get 99 range which should happen over the summer with slayer Little break from proper rune for the next month or so due to exam times (funfun) but really got into dungeoneering recently so thinking that'l be the next one that I'l get in the summer :) As for a 99 for May (Even though im already 6 99s on 4 months) looks like firemaking is on the cards, nice easy one to get out of the way and should help a tad with DG keying too :) Fairly small and dull blog post, seems like I got these absolutely ages ago though :S

92 Dg and thats me done wwith DGS for a while :( Exams are looming and I'll be back to dg i about a month or so for at least 100+ It's been great dging with everyone sofar though :D

I realised after that maybe screenshotting the incident might have been best, and i'l remember for future, though in general things always go fine and smoothly in dgs :) To his credit for the rest of it all he was a decent keyer, good floor time to say we had a fair few awful rooms

imo it wasnt that he expected the dragging of the gs (unless we all had gates taken, which I doubt) but just more the attitude of the whole dungeon and the threatening to kick. Especially since we already had the herbs at ht for the range pot too, doubt I'd go again tbh

and thats why I'm never ever ever ever going W148 again. Suicided most of it after two left, well done to tips and pal though

Thanks dgs :D 90 Dung and a new toy for arma gwd aint half bad :) Slowly learning to key and trying to get better at it, time to start work on rigour :)

Also EEE is great at Arma GWD due to the lack of range special weapons

First try at keying :) Pretty happy wih it tbh, Green was a massive help to me, keeping track of all the doors was a slight pain but I'l get the hang of it :D Also I seemed to get people killed by tele-ing in a lot :S I'l work on it though.

Aha, so that makes the choice a lot easier :P I'l stick with the 2h for now and work on switching

So, very nearly 89 Dungeoneering and I'm wondering about this Obvious benefits of baxe are switching to CSB is easier, and I can use tank ring for keying (obv with a shield not csb), which I can see myself doing a lot of now that i'm hooded :D So erm, should I get it or shouldn't I really? And whats the best way to go about getting it too if I did? :S
