I don't see any reason why we can't use the dragonkin remains from the one we saw robert kill to make the arrows, and then go back in time later to give him them in order to kill it. Yes it's a paradox. But we already named the herblore skill in making history, having named it because we knew it was herblore from our experiences in the present! Time travel is fun :) Also a thought, bob was a human back in his time and is reincarnated as a cat now. We're a human now, and guess who just happened to have a large cat familiar back then? :o

I think one of the biggest reasons that runefest isn't already sold out is just price and location. I'd be going this year if I had the money, as would a fair few friends I'm sure, but I guess theres not much they can do about that :( bring on runefest 2012 though!

If Jagex had no real plans to combat bots, it would have been VERY easy of them to avoid the bot issue at Runefest. The fact that they've brought it up and are showing a willingness to talk about it makes me wonder if after all this time, they do have something up their sleeves afterall. Quite looking forward to seeing what comes of this anyway

The thing about the celtic knot puzzle is it is probably randomised. The game selects which form of the puzzle it will be (how many crossings/what kind) and has the solution with the gaps filled with other runes. and then it just rotates each knot randomly, meaning there are likely very VERY many different combinations of the puzzle. :( The guide already shows the method fairly well, but it *could* be worth it to show one of each form of the puzzle, as some have more crossings than others. regardless of what kind it is though, the solution method is the same. EDIT: I know I posted this a while back (before I was full crew actually) but I guess it still stands, the guide currently details how to solve celtic knots well, and there will be litterally millions of possible arrangements of this kind of puzzle. Are effigies pretty quick there? I've had 8 sofar in about 500 kills, so its probably averaging a little over an hour and a half per effigy. Then again thats a pretty small sample, but they're quite quick. Plus its so much fun :D EDIT: Thats based on my 25-30 kills in 40 min trips, and I know it could be much faster I'm sure.

FINALLY after 479 kills :D Sold for 21.5m in GE, could've probably gotten more but meh. Bought another 10k casts and now at the halfway point with shards, woo! Probably end up staying here for 99 Glacorcrafting anyway :D

It might be that all hits get a damage boost on them, since it says we get a damage boost down to residual energy from the Stone of Jas as a reward from the quest. Has anyone experienced similar with melee/range? Then again, I'd completely understand the logic in fire spells just getting a damage boost.

Its probably something like that, but of course you could get lucky early on. I'd say maybe try do them in something like 1k batches maybe, then again you could always sell any logs/oil/shades that're left over at the end

Expect to burn LOTS for even a chance at one piece :( I'm at about 750 burns sofar and only have a shade skull, and apparently some people have burned upto 2k+ without any drop. ROW shines when opening the chests so it could be useful to wear it

I dont even. It really depends on what you're going for, are you looking for a longer trip length or being more effective offence-wise? Also, do you tend to tank when you duo or does your partner? If you use a shield, you should be brining a D Defender with you anyway for if you're not tanking, killing minions, or anticrashing, its definitely worth having there.

Do you use claws? They'd be a great help especially for anti-crash Also using a rapier for the minions would speed things up nicely

Since classic and loyalty things are both really "membership incentives" updates, I'd assume they'd both come at the end of the month in one update. (make people buy membs that'l roll over to the end of next month) So maybe ROTM, no update week, and then the rest. Either way, IT'S FINALLY HERE!!

1) How long will it take to make 1.3k Overloads (I have all the extremes, no mousekeys) 2) How many mahogany tables should I be trying to make before the (standard) butler comes back, and how many planks should I get him to fetch per time? And also approx how many should I use per hour, assuming no mousekeys? 3) For agility, down to gnome adv and barb adv being fairly similar xp, which would be better for BXP? I'm thinking crowding on the barb course is going to increase lap times Thanks :)

Just made my first few potions, they don't stack, restore one point per tick(it seems), house ops doesnt pause them and you get a message in red in your chatbox every minute. fun.
