My plan is simple, I'll have a set of farming trees and 2 spirit trees ready in the check health phase for the first day, and check them all, then head to Pyradmid Plunder. I need to get an anti-poison totem for that though (just because, i know it's not fully worth it, but it's not like I need anything else from dung :rolleyes: )

He's asking about void "Melee", not mage :unsure: It's already been said, anywhere off slayer tasks where food is not an issue. It's also good at Bosses if you're in an attacking role (or if the boss is just weak), like Bandos, Zammy, Saradomin, KBD. It's also great for tormented demons if you have both the range and melee helms, as it only requires you to switch the helms and weapons, instead of armor pieces.

Gem bag works wonders, it's a reward from dungeoneering that can hold 100 uncut gems from sapphire-diamonds, I take it to almost all tasks :thumbsup: I can understand Herbs before you have a yak, but once you have a yak, leaving a task of spectres should never be needed, even if you're cannoning them. For Bars, it's not really worth the time going out of your way to bank those from miths. If you really want them, take a tortoise and fill them up in that. Since you get so few Miths in a task, you should be able to bank almost all of them without leaving just with a tort. What does a full inventory have to do with an SGS? :unsure: I'm confused...what does magic have to do with a cannon at aberrant specters? I've gotten 2 abyssal heads, 2 basalisk heads, 6 kbd heads ( -.- ) and a kurask head. What's your point? Everyone else's point with the more xp was about getting more xp/hour. I've actually never had Goraks, so I have no idea what kind of defense is needed there, but I've never had trouble at Terror Dogs with a unicorn there. Nowadays I just take a prayer pot, and use soul split when I start getting low (I use steel titan for a familiar, fast free point task ftw \:D/ ) You got your slayer cape awhile ago, that's fine. It doesn't change the way slayer works now. With summoning, more special weapons and other abilities, items like Guthans just aren't need anymore. After I got 68 summoning, my guthans just started collecting dust, I just never needed it anymore. I slayed in Torag for the longest time as well until I had a lot of money just saved up. I finally bought bandos, and haven't turned back since. You just don't need the defense anymore on slayer tasks like you used to. Staying at a slayer task for the full time only takes one simple 2k pouch now, not a full set of barrows. Karils isn't only needed for 2 tasks now btw (at least once you can use Kuradal), waterfiends, and mithril dragons. Your advice isn't bad....if it was 2007. But things have changed quiet a bit with how combat and slayer work. Read up a bit on the newer methods of slaying before you start giving advice. In today's setting, you're advice just doesn't cut it.

at the prices prayer pots are right now (assuming they're buyable atm), the drops should be able to cover them pretty easily. Try both ways (with piety/without piety), and see which you prefer.

You're lowish mage level combined with only having D hide could cause problems. Your best bet is to probably protect from range while there, using a bunyip+scrolls. Use piety as well to increase kill rate/lower damage rate. (I wonder if prayer pots will even be buying with Bonus xp weekend coming up though :unsure: ) You'd want to get a better weapon like the spear before upgrading to karils there. Have you unlocked the fairy ring in the ancient cavern? If so, definitely do the above, banking is basically not an issue that way

well...the only buyable skill I really have left is crafting...and I don't feel like training it.... I might just do thieving at PP, maybe get 99 that weekend if I do it enough.

what is your magic, prayer and summoning level? Do you have Karil's or D hide? Do you have an EE, or SGS? The Z spear should stay stable as far as I can see, I don't see any reason why it'd start dropping now.

:blink: To answer OPs question...I'd get the bandos, but sell it once you have enough for turmoil. It'd be easier to answer if we knew what all the items you have already are as far as slayer equipment goes.

Never get a bone crusher. I don't really have a particular order of things to get, but good rewards include All chaotics except staff/Longsword (depends on what you do most of course though) Arcane Stream Surge Box (I like it anyways) Scroll of Cleansing Scroll of Life Scroll of Vigour Herbicide (mildly useful, should be close to the last thing you get) Gem bag Updates to your ring inside dungeoneering.
