Bladewing, you're missing the point... His point isn't "people are crashing me!!!" or "supreme is attacking me!!!" His point is that people are entering the lair and luring supreme on him for the sole purpose of killing him....when he hops, so do they. They aren't keeping the world, they are literally there to kill him. Regardless of how he is killing them doesn't change the fact that doing something like that is just plain [bleep]ish As for the OP....you can't stop people from entering the lair and neither can burstinglobs....so... despite what I just said (^)....deal with it. People are just going to do it because they can.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned are darts/knives. Aren't those always better on low defense slayer tasks? (and I mean the lowest of the low...like greaters and hounds)

^ This is assuming accuracy is next to nothing of a problem. The higher the defense of what your fight, the more it varies...usually in the chaotic's favor.

for your first attempt at a cape...no. You try stuff like that AFTER you have a cape, and failing doesn't matter as much.

Bandos is better then barows there because assuming you're doing the cave right, the bulk of your damage will be from the level 90s ranging you. The level 180s are extremely easy to trap on other monsters, and then you can just protect from melee against them when nothing else is around. Although, if you don't have the funds for it, barrows works fine. Bandos is only a couple points better in range def, so don't worry about it.

i honestly never tried melee without having soul split....so I really don't know. Your melee stats are fine for it. I just don't know how not having turmoil/extremes will effect it.

there's two methods people use Melee Range Melee is A LOT faster, but generaly more difficult with higher chance of dieing. I melee when I do the fight cave. I take Slayer helm Fury Bandos chest bandos tassets soul wars cape dragon boots rapier (whip for you) Chaotic kite (Obsidian shield or Defender) berserker ring my inventory is 3 ovl (2 super sets for you) 5 brews spec weapon (ee or sgs) rest prayer pot/restores For meleeing the level 360s, you kite them (attack them, walk away, attack) so that they do not melee you. Unless there are level 360s in the area, protect from range agianst the 90s, unless there's 180 attacking you, in which case melee. Make sure you kill the level 22s first (unless they're trapped), as they lower your prayer ====================================== I haven't ranged in so long, I don't even remember what I took :unsure:

So I'm interested in nex now, I just bought ceremonial to dodge KC, I have rigour, ovl, yak. I do not have void however. This is basically my range gear. Is this what teams are looking for/accepting? What kind of inventory setup works the best? Chaotic Rapier or Maul? I've seen people saying the maul seems to disappoint, but then posts saying it works great :unsure: Would Karils be better if I'm going to both range and melee? As far as how to kill it goes. I've been reading up the thread in General Discussion about it, and have read (and will re-read) Maz's recent post. Do you think his is the best killing method so far?

I was commenting on a picture silly ;) And I did see the Pm to him, so I was about 90% sure on the drop, regardless of whether or not you believe that, I really don't care. However, after just recieving the drop himself, why did a friend pm him that he missed it, when he was obviously there to see it? :unsure: . Most people will look at that Pm and not think much of it. They'll think maybe the other person was in a different team, so he was telling him they got a drop, and he missed out. My point remains regardless though. If he's going to post drop pictures, unless he physically got it himself so he can right click and screenshot that, he shouldn't block out the whole chat window. If posting multiple accounts is such an issue, then he really only needs to block the names, not the whole box. Anyways, I'm tired of talking about blocked boxes. I think I'm ready for nex now.
