  1. You'd be surprised. I see many people ranging things like Metal dragons in Karils. Now, I have nothing against ranging slayer tasks, because I personally did it out of enjoyment.....but if you ARE going to range...at least do it in the right gear, and in places where range is semi-effective #-o (lol at the whole, blackhide/karils/arma/void crap) Anyways, I think the only place where AGS beats claws for specs is at Saradomin, just because of her defense, claw specs don't hit as often as most other monsters (at least not for me). But that's a pretty pointless place to get AGS for. Claws perform well enough where the difference in price is not worth it at all. Claws are better for pvp situations as well, as it's much harder to survive out of a claw spec. With AGS, you can hit high, ok...if you didn't manage to kill them with that hit, by the time you hit again, they'll be at full hp. With Claws, if they're still alive, you can following it quickly with other another spec, or another weapon.
  2. I know you can still get bit, read the whole thing  Just going by a bit of personal experience. I've always gotten much better xp/hour checking before looting. Maybe my luck just sucks, idk.
  3. You get the same xp for checking + looting, as you would for straight up looting. It's just the xp comes half, then half. I've personally always found it better to check then loot, because you get those moments where when you keep trying to loot, you just keep getting bit over and over again, wasting much more time then you would if you just check + Loot. I never had trouble looting all the urns in the last two rooms (unless I had bad luck with doors, or they kept changing). I say it's worth it to check first, as you're more likely to spend less time at an urn, since the chance of getting bit that way are MUCH less. Lock pick is useless, it only makes opening doors easier....but you can spam click those things, and using a lock pick only lowers the xp you get from those. You want to get to the last room with about 25% of your time left.
  4. wasn't directing that towards you specifically, it was just a general statement.
  5. before you do ANYTHING, hack them back, sell all their stuff, so you only have a cash pile left....and buy needles...lots and lots of plain, simple, 1 gp needles. Then report him  (or just take the stuff first, which ever you find most fun)
  6. I know it's a ways away for OP, but magic isn't useless for slayer. It's the best option for Ice Strykes Magic has very comparable DPS to melee on Steel and Iron dragons (unless you have a rapier or Zspear, which also assumes super antis) if your magic level is comparable to your melee. Range is useless though for slayer (other then a cannon, and Geyser/steel titan), I only range slayed because I liked slayer enough to do it :P
  7. [hide] I only pk on f2p and don't want high combat outside wild. Exactly, no good reason to not train it. I have a pure and I don't train summon on it. I hate the extra cmb lvls outside of wild even. still no good reason  [/hide] Took ya long enough mazz :P I was so waiting for you to get a virtus hood though.
  8. I only pk on f2p and don't want high combat outside wild. Exactly, no good reason to not train it.
  9. why wouldn't you train summoning, even as a pure? Summoning levels do not change your combat level in the wilderness, in fact, they give you a huge benefit now that they don't, even when you use familiars. There is honestly no good reason to not train summoning. (other then I guess staking)
  10. That is extremely random and out of place
  11. *sniff* *sniff* *cry*
  12. You can die. That's how they fixed it.
  13. it's 10 hours of combat, however, the way they calculate combat, makes it more like 25 hours. They only time your combat when an attack turn is being taken (you swing your sword) yes, - 4 slash. The sword has 3 slash options, and 1 crush option, like a normal 2h. With -4 slash. Have fun.
  14. Also because the chaotics follow the pattern of 2m or 200k + 20k, so people assumed it was the same for gravite (proportionally at least)
  15. that is....extremely random....
  16. bug abuse is included to get the arrows withour 4h limit make up your mind. Pretty much this is what happened: There was a glitch with the G.E. causing bronze arrow prices to get messed up. YB's friend goes and buys 2.147b bronze arrows for 17gp ea or whatever in hopes of selling them back for 5k each. His plan backfires, so he claims he was the one responsible for the price rise, in hopes of not looking like an idiot for buying so many arrows. YB believes his friend, not realising that it would take 5k piles of max cash to put in the offer his friend claims to have made. it wasnt the plan to buy max pile he just decide to buy few 100 bronze arrows to train with. but since it didnt buy for normal price he rised the price to 5k ea per arrow to get those. he noticed that if you put offer for 5k per arrow you would get them for the actual trade price. i have never said that it took him 5k max cash piles to get those. Take a look @ [removed] :ugeek: quit changing your story.
  17. this isn't surprising, people need to actually type in bot sites in google to actually find the site the first time. As for runescape...forget google, simply typing Runescape in your URL bar takes you right there. When people look for RS help sites, they don't search for "tipit", they'll search for Runescape help/fan site, which is why tip.it doesn't have a high search amount.
  18. It lasts for 25 hours and the recharge costs is 100k + 6.5k tokens, not 10k tokens. Ummm...what? It's 10k tokens...
  19. Both. Blastbox is bound as ammo.
  20. most people get extremes -> Turm -> Ovl The main reason for this is that extremes are just cheaper then Turmoil, and easier to get first.
  21. 1) Almost everywhere 2) Almost everywhere you use melee. 3) no idea.
  22. was i that bad  What? I never said anything about you....
  23. new cc = DG sweepers, it wasn't empty, trust me. Got with DG sweepers, you must be so proud.
  24. Mining rooms give a lot of XP. 4 x 4 rocks - ~400xp each depending what level is required + 400 construction xp (again depending on the level) for putting struts up. Thieving Chests depending on level also give good xp. (Like 1k a chest I think for lvl 90 ones) Fishing is the stand out one - 200xp per fish or thereabouts, takes 30 secs a spot - it's a quick 2-3k xp or so depending. I was getting 90 xp per Moray yesterday. If you're in a team...the xp get's split between the members.
