Can always drop the rings before you trade. You can use the ring of kinship to have the host join your party and "peak" at their inventory or equipments they're carrying. But considering the hassle, I doubt people will play this over the flower game. You can ONLY do that at damonhiem though. People playing this are probably going to be around the ge.

*warriors a strength bonus doesn't turn you into a meleer. A melee attack bonus does, so you'd need a warrior. Other then this guy scamming, that does sound like a fun game to do. You could set the winnings in your favor so you don't loose money (assuming your the host), and people would be likely to do it because a 1/3 chance of winning sounds great.

Did you tell him you wanted it? Did they know you were trying to get a hood? He probably just did out of habit. I'm so used to picking up random drops and alching them that unless I knew the person wanted, and was bugging me about it, I probably would have alched it too out of habit. Who slays for the drops anymore? The free trade/wildy change tanked most of the drops. Now it's only done for fun :P

spend the money on extremes, you don't need ovls for slayer. After extremes, save for turmoil.

sell tassets for fury and berserker ring.

fury ~ Bersker ring (considering the price) You should not have tassets before both a fury and berserker ring. Until then, veracs works fine for the prayer bonus.

who cares, get a fury. It's was worth it at 16m. :thumbup: I honestly consider a fury to be one of those items you just buy so you can have it....then never worry about the price again. Just have to have it because it's just that good.

the soonest you can turn off a protection prayer is at the EXACT moment your oponent fires off it's attack. So if you click just barely before they attack, your prayer should switch when their animation starts. For soul split, the overhead must be active when your animation starts.

Fire cape isn't always the best cape for slayer, far from it. There is room for atleast 3 capes for even pro slayers(with overloads and spec restores). Sw cape is generally the best cape a medium to high level slayer can use, and if you can't use turmoil(which the posted doesn't), sw cape is clearly better. Oh, and level your slayer. (read: Dagannoth slayer task). Ardougne cape is better at Mithril dragons. I also like using the soul wars cape to do multiple tasks in a row without banking (at least in Kuradal's dungeon). I like to gear myself with enough supplies to stay at the cave for 3-5 tasks, I can't do that with a fire cape because my prayer would run out too much. Outside of slayer, the soul wars cape is often the best cape at bosses as well due to staying power. A small boost in speed is often not worth banking more often (this obviously depends on the boss of course) Equipement isn't always so cut and dry, black and white for which is better. It also helps to not be a total ass when you post. It makes it extremely hard to take you seriously. And lol at calling xpx stupid Magic boosting prayers are useless outside of pvp situations. Either monsters you use magic on have no magic defense (or such low defense it doesn't matter) where it makes abysmal difference....or the monster has too high of a magic defense (read: Every boss except TDs and Rex) where using magic is the absolute worst method to kill them with no matter how much magic accuracy you can get. I'm sure it's already been answered....but yes, the fire cape is definitely worth getting for ice strykes DO NOT EVER PAY THE 2000k POINTS TO FIGHT THEM, it is a huge waste. The fire cape acts as a ferocious ring outside of Kuradals as well as lowers the damage the strkes can deal to you with their ice attack (their magic attack). When using fire spells, the boost is doubled as well, adding 80 to all of your hits. The fire cape in general is also just a great cape to have.

I agree with all...BUT this...well, half of this... I can understand that when you advertise for hoods only, and one shows up without one it'd be a bit annoying...but to just say you don't like people without hoods at 90+ dung. Well, I'm pretty sure one of the best dungers on this site didn't even get a hood drop until he was level 90+, so in some cases, you can't really blame them.
