  1. I kind of agree. not to generalize or sound like trollbait but a large proportion of pkers (RSOF types) are pretty immature and too incompetent to deal with learning how to use all of the new game mechanics to their advantage Ohhhh that is no generalisation... Any PKer will know that a majority of people you fight will most likely be an immature [wagon] in some way by the end of the fight. I know i have my moments where i get a little angry at someone for safing over and over and will get a little angry, but mostly that only happens after they intentionally antagonise me. So safe back :P
  2. No clue why people run like that. It especially bothers me when it's low levelled pures that only are in FoG to leech free XP at the cost of others. And when they finally realise they only have to go to the centre, they start ****ing healing. ._. Call me crazy...but I'm pretty sure FOG was designed TO RUN AROUND AND STAY ALIVE LONGER I hate....and I mean HATE....when people complain about runners...it's how the game was meant to work. It's how I was able to beat level 90+ players when I was only level 50. I'm sorry that people play FOG the right way, and use bandages that are given to them to...idk...USE!? Just teleing to the middle and Hurp durp standing there for a minute is NOT how the game is meant to be played. There's a reason the box in the corner has the words "Hunting" and "Hunted by"....you're supposed to go HUNT for them, as in...run around and actually LOOK for your target so you can kill them. The house are there because they're supposed to be USED!
  3. No. /thread No. They're still some of the best weapons, they're just outperformed by claws, chaotics, eee, whip etc. Still a top 10. No. maul rapier cls whip claws eee korasi dds swh vls. Replace EEE with Bandos goodsword...because be honest here...once you have soul split...EEE has even less uses then BGS (which only has corp) Godswords are decent weapons, there's no way you can deny that. Just because there are weapons that are better then them, does not mean they suddenly suck altogether. Godswords are actually great bossing weapons for lower levels or people who don't have chaotics yet (depends on the boss of course), since they actually need the accuracy. PVP weapons are not used by the average player.....and please...don't ignore the word average there and post videos of Top Boss hunters, or top Pkers....People who do "pro" corp, are not average.
  4. Look..I know I should get the Juju potions, but I am too lazy to do it right now....so can I please get some answers that DON'T involve them now?
  5. SirIzenhime replied to oshmannj's topic in Rants
Umm...yea...they barely hit you...you don't need to soul split that much. It's almost like you've never done it before.
  6. And you quoted me to say that...why?
  7. The only clay pieces that are really worth getting are the hammers and needles for construction/smithing and crafting.
  8. SirIzenhime replied to oshmannj's topic in Rants
Tanking steel dragons takes...soul split...you don't need any healing familiars I never get anywhere near dieing, I only use unicorn at bosses. At your level, they aren't really worth doing. Ranging them would be your cheapest method. So, you could just cancel them, or try to power through them with range and anti-fire pots.
  9. I think you mean saradomin GW? And no, a high damaging spec is better...running away isn't that hard, it's not worth loosing that much damage for a few clicks saving spec.
  10. Thought herbs were kinda obvious. Snaps or torstols w/ farm pots. The only bush I do is the tele to monastary w/ ardy cape since its a free tele and unlimited. I also do the cactus spot with the duelling ring every farm run on the side. Tortol are far from obvious considering that I don't have the farming potions, and that they're currently in a landslide dead last in profit out of all the herbs right now without them...they're in the negative...by a lot too. Would it be smart to rely on the 6.5 herb/seed average for snapdragons at the price of their seed?
  11. I have a general idea of what I want to do...but I still want to know which herb is best, if bushes are worth doing, and just the general comparison of time/money on yew/papaya vs magic/palm. I do have access to the best money makers, but the only one I actually do is DKs, and that's only if I have them as a task. I don't camp frost dragons or Tds, because I do not like to. When training farming, I want to look at the skill, by itself completely. I want to ignore being able to get money elsewhere, and focus on not loosing a lot on farming, but still doing it in a sort of efficient way...if that make sense.
  12. I already have a scroll of life, I said in my first post  Anyways, thanks for the calcs, yet, that part I could have (and did) already do myself. I'm mostly looking for guidance on Herbs, Yews/Papaya Vs Magic/Palm. And then random stuff about other patches and how many runs I should do daily for herbs/bushes.
  13. Ok, my new question now is this. What is the best route to take when doing my tree/herb/bush runs? How should an inventory look for each run? I've been looking to raise my farming Which tree seed is the best to use between Yew and Magic, taking price into consideration. If I use Yew trees, should I bother paying the 10 spines? Which fruit tree seed is the best to use between Papaya and palm. One thing I thought about was using palms with magic seeds so I can use the coconuts to slightly cheepen paying for magic seeds. Are calquat trees worth doing? If so, pay the farmer or not? As well as tree seeds, I'm also looking to do herbs. I have a scroll of life, but do not have Juju Potions. Looking at the Wiki graphs, Snapdragon seeds offer the best average profit at 28k per. Should I trust my luck to hold out with dieing herbs, or go with a safer seeds like Kwuarm or Avantoe? How many herb runs would I have to do daily to break even off farming if I use Yews + Papaya + Calquat? Magic + Palm + Calquat? Are bushes worth farming? Since I'm already at the patches, would Limpwurts be worth farming? Are any allotments worth farming? Any special patches other than Calquat worth farming? I would plan to only do 1 tree run per day, period. If I did Bushes, I'd do 2-3 runs. I have my spirit tree at Misc. I DO have spirit tree seeds saved up from MTK, should I consider up-rooting my current spirit tree, and planting those, since I can just use fairy ring for Misc?
  14. No, also people who didn't understand pking STILL don't understand pking. People whine about everything, whats new? Some people even whine about skilling not being profitable as a rule, which is even more asinine, when one considers supply and demand, etc. He already said that...but in 3 words, I made it bigger for you to see.
  15. as I said I couldn't care less what some decadent people in their high white castles make up, in 20 years from now they'll completely change their minds, again. - I do see here people saying that loosing your gear which "worked oh so hard for" is similar to being robbed of things like wedding rings. THAT is stupid, and shows you can't seperate reality from games! Nobody is comparing loosing virtual items to robbing IRL...all people are telling you is that your emotions are still there when you play a game. Don't you get a little upset when you die while pking? Don't you get a little upset when you go a whole GWD trip with no items? Don't you feel a sense of joy when you're at a boss, and it drops a high value item? That's all people are saying...they aren't comparing PKing to murdering...stop putting words in people's mouths.
  16. I'd strongly suspect that you don't have children. If you did, you'd appreciate the heartbreak that a child endures when his items are basically stolen from him. As a parent, it's gut-wrenching to discover that some douchebag has scammed your child out of items he worked so hard to acquire. This is one of the reasons I don't want "free-trade" back. Though my children are all older and wiser now there is a large population of children playing the game who will be taken advantage of by people who consider earstwhile unconscionable acts as valid game tactics, because they can hide their truly despicable nature behind a computer screen ... So, you'd rather them learn this lesson in real life? Instead of with unimportant virtual items they'll get over with within a day at most? I don't know if you realize this, but if you get scammed IRL, the consequence are usually much worse then loosing a set of rune armor in a game.
  17. Getting hacked for my bank Being Perm banned, with no chance of recovery Boredom. I can't really think of an update that would make me quit...at least without going to the way extremes.
  18. Oh wow, I coulda sworn GWD had been out longer then that
  19. Just to let you know, you're fitting "Their" stereotype of skillers right now.
  20. Ah, I remember the days when cooking was profitable. Then skill capes came along lol. Actually, I'm thinking some skills will become cheaper due to bot-induced influx of raw materials. Cooking is profitable.
  21. You might see those people try and trade herblore potions for the supplies, but considering the way skills have been since skill capes were released, and how used to Paying for their levels the people are today... No, not at all. The skillers can try to raise their prices, but if no one buys them for that price, then you're just a lost cause.
  22. If you can successfully switch your combat style when you switch weapons, then it is good for f2p for KOing. You just need to be able to switch well.
  23. No, they haven't been nerfed.
  24. If they're asking you to buy like...100 battle staffs or iron/steel platebodies, there's actually a reason for it. It's because they can only buy 100 of those per 4 hours, so they ask other people to buy some for them, so they don't have to wait as long.
  25. I kind of hope they keep clue scrolls in the wildy, because when they do, I can actually start using those ferret pouches and scrolls I got. I'll take the 4 tt items, my clue, and like...2 scrolls. If you kill me, enjoy your spade and scroll (I laugh at the people that use barrage on clue hunters, it's such a waste :P) My only fear now will be going to the KBD for slayer tasks, I might just not do that anymore
