What can't you wait to do in the new Golden Age of Runescape?
I'm going to do the same stupid crap I do now.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
It's more the fact that you have to spend that 9m every 60 kills, meaning that you spend 150k every single kill. Worth it? Probably not. If this boss requires multiple styles to use, you'll have to change weapons, and don't Pvp items auto degrade a minute when you first put them (while in combat of course), that combined with the boss "hopefully" taking longer then a minute to kill, I'd guess significantly less then 60 kills per hammer.

DERP HERP Y U CUT WILLOW *or any log thats not ivy* WHEN UR 99 HERPPP
Lol. You did do something though, to which I responded. Owned. Except I didn't. Owned.

DERP HERP Y U CUT WILLOW *or any log thats not ivy* WHEN UR 99 HERPPP
calling someone scared and desperate is not a joke by most people's standard. How can you seriously try to argue that saying "Last word, owned" is in ANY way insulting? There was nothing for you to "counter" with my statement, I didn't argue anything, I didn't flame anything, I simply made a harmless fun comment. I stand by with my original statement to you.

f2p cooking
why would you want the fires in different spots? A moving bank is horrible for this.

Wilderness and free trade vote! - Now Closed
They'e not, all they've done is say they want/expect 1m votes....and at the rate they're going, they're more than going to make it. They might as well get some publicity out of it.

Frozen door (New)
Why is dungeoneering suddenly "all important".. Really why not a mining requirement? - so you can clear the ice before the room.. - or a firemaking? The ice is thawing on it's own, why would we need to do it? Dungeoneering isn't really any more important than any other, it'd just be a good way to get people to train the new skill. And since we're talking about going deepering into the God Wars DUNGEON, it would actually make sense.

Tasking with cannon
Do you mean Black Demons?

Frozen door (New)
No, I just think a dungeoneering requirement for something this big would be a good idea to make it more exclusive

Ok, I know why we're mixed up now. You're confusing efficient with preference.... To figure out if training with one weapon is more efficient than with another, you need to consider what your absolute BEST money maker is. Then you need to find out that...in the time saved using the quicker method, would you be able to make more money then if you had used the cheaper training method. It is your Preference to use a training method that costs less money to do. While it is true what is more efficient varies from player to player...consider that the audience this bow will be available to is going to be people who are Maxed players able to kill the boss effectively, who also have access to the current BEST money makers (frost dragons) For the people who have reasonable access to this bow, using it as a means of training will not be efficient for them to use. They can still use it out of their own preference of course.

Just picture it like a Chaotic Longsword/Godswords. It'll be decent. But you won't see any efficiency nut with it.

Comic Unrealism
We're in love with that person? Every time I see her, I yell at her to tell me where to fish. That's pretty weird love  And what about female characters, isn't their slave also a girl?

Jagex described it as a Bow. And I honestly can't see them making it a crossbow. Knowing Jagex, and their absoulte love with the work they've done with dungeoneering and it's rewards....they WILL NOT (or at least try not to) make a bow that is better to use then the chaotic crossbow, especially if they require the same level. As for your previous statement, all of my posts have been based in the mindset that this bow will not degrade...if it does degrade, that would make it even worse to use. Based on the information Jagex has given us, this Bow would sort of be like...The Chaotic Longsword is to the Maul and rapier. Sure, it's great statwise, will have decent performance, but there's a better option in every thing you do with it.

No shield If you use a 2h range weapon, the Hand Cannon would be better to use.

Frozen door (New)
I'd actually support a high dungeoneering level for the door...maybe not 120...but a fairly high level to make it a bit more exclusive and elite sort of content.

It's more like the Godsword for rangers Looks great statwise, sounds good on paper, lots of pretty numbers...but it get's shafted by other weapons in almost every category So what was your max when you used the bow? Or have you not yet? Because you are speaking as if you have tried, tested and dismissed it. According to Jagex, the bow will be approx. as accurate as the Chaotic Cross bow, it will fire at the same speed, and the shots will have the same power to that of a dragon crossbow bolt. We do not need the actual bow to be out, to know how well that is going to perform. Unless they change something with the bow before release...or did not describe it correctly, the new bow will not be efficient for training, casual monster killing, or bossing.

It'll be neither fast, nor efficient training. Ok, so you didn't outright say "best", you're still wrong though.

At 80 range with no other bonuses but the range strength from dragon stone bolts the max hit would be 254. Add void and extra levels on and you have some seriously fast training. Who knows, maybe even a special attack? No. Just no. They said it would be the same speed as a chaotic bow, which is the same speed as other crossbows-- 4 speed (5 on rapid). That is too slow to be efficient for training. I completely disagree. I used to train with mithril bolts and a c'bow and got some decent experience. With such power and accuracy of course it will be efficient training. So...since YOU trained with a crossbow, and not with Knives, you're right, and other people are wrong? Sorry to tell you this, but the best range Xp comes from throwing Knives and Chinchompas...Crossbows do not compare in training, at all. Not even with Onyx bolts. And do you honestly think a No-ammo bow isn't going to come with some other draw back? Perhaps it randomly destroys itself like the handcannon, perhaps it has charges and dissapears like Pvp items, perhaps it has the same style as Barrows and Chaotics, it lasts for a time, then needs to be recharged.

What are the bones and rocktail (shouldn't they be brews?) for?

Bandos Items
Bandos is better for slayer than any barrows set AFTER you have turmoil and extreme. After you have those, once you save the money, you should start getting gear (like bandos) Anyways, what do you plan to fight the new boss in? I use my Bandos + Soul wars cape for all tasks except spirit mages (since those are the only task I use protection prayers on), that's more then enough prayer bonus to do an average task in only a few prayer pots. As for the OP's question. You simply need to answer one thing.... Do you use your Bandos frequently? If the answer is yes...don't sell it, and ignore any GE/Street prices If not, then consider selling it for things you'll actually use.

Ok, I was just curious is all.

Keyers
20 seconds doesn't make any difference... Honestly, if you don't know anything about keying, don't post... Or you could, you know, just ggs tele? You could do that too, and it will probably be better than what that guide suggested. I usually use that guide just as a refresher on how to work with teams. the guide I actually follow is on the Runescape Official Forums. Just wondering, about how long does your average large dungeon take?
