Been playing for 7 and a half years I never staked, hated(and still do) pking, and free trade sucked because of the bots that came with it. I still won't stake, I still won't pk, and unless jagex changes something fast...I'll see the same bots as we saw back in 07

welcome back to the Runescape section :rolleyes: I hardly find repairing an item once every....month....a grind, especially when the repairing takes at most 20 seconds. As for the months for a 90+ skill, most skills don't take months, but I do agree to a point. A lot of the skills in this game I really don't mind spending time doing, since they're either fun, or afkable, so I can do other things anyways while I do them. The only 3 skills I've ever had a problem with are Runecrafting, agility and Hunter, because I don't find them fun, and they aren't afkable. Which explains why they're among my lowest stats :P

Not average. Rex is slightly slower kill then supreme, and not counting the extra prime kills, you are making under 2m/hr maging rex. Got to factor in runes, pots, etc. When i was in a rex phase, I actually profited over 2m an hour average. I guess me and aerendil had above average luck.

What? Apart from melee being bad and godswords being bad melee weapons, why would 8 godswords be better than 4? Just can't understand the logic behind this, not to mention Nex seems to be a mage, which explains why melee and mage are bad, while range dominates her. It's worth trying at least once. Think about when corp first came out....how did people figure out you need to use spears? They tried it....shocking. I'm not saying it will be good, just that someone should at least do it once, to get over the speculation. Who knows, it might work.

those are some crappy friends if they're making you wait for them to get all the way back to that floor. You don't have to do the floors in order, just to let you know. Just do what ever is available for everyone.

Still, any chaotic C bow setup should work better, unless there's something about this bow I don't know about. ignoring bolt specs, handcannon owns every other item in dps even in low accuracy scenarios. even if the handcannon is hitting with 1% accuracy on some monster. the extra accuracy on say, a chaotic crossbow + unholy book. will NEVER boost the accuracy enough to justify and of course, remember handcannon has like, 2x longer range than crossbows. which is important at nex. I fletched myself 300 ruby bolts and im beginning to test those. Perhaps ill do diamond bolts at a later date. ppl told me 33% spec rate. but I pulled off about 15 specs at duel arena. and of that data pool, under 20% of the accurate hits were specs. so 33% spec rate seems like too high a number. Wrong context, I was comparing C Cbow to the New bow. Not C Cbow to Handcannon.

How would the Zartye bow be better then the chaotic C bow void? It's less accurate, less powerful (if you're using Above diamond bolts), fires at the same speed, and you loose your shield. The new bow should be in last out of your choices. I'd also use Hand Cannon over it...the increased distance and power, Plus it's extreme accuracy spec, the only real downside to using it is it has a chance to blow up. Let's face it, the costs of using a hand cannon are nothing for the people who can even fight nex successfully.

The +15 damage might be real (highly doutb it though) But the 920 max hit...not...even....close... with the +15 damage, it gives 130 range damage...hand cannon shots have more then that don't they? And they can't hit anywhere even close to 900.

I don't know if it's been figured out yet, but I believe to stop the monsters from attacking you for KC, you need to be wearing a set of armor they are not strong against. For instance, if you wear a set of bandos armor, the rangers and meleers will not attack you, but the mages still will. I wore my basic slayer gear (bandos), and was only getting attacked by mages. I havent actually tried it with range or mage gear yet.

Or as mentioned be designed in such a way that you need two people to deal damage. The first day it will seem both incredibly strong for small teams and easily killed in seconds by the masses. In time we will see standards like 6man corp emerge for it. Hard to tell what works and what doesn't right away. lets make nex a lvl 1 imp, but 1 person cant do dmg on it, however if 2 people are in the room then you just 1 hit it there jagex made an unsoloable boss....oh what thats [bleep]ing retarted if they want to make it unsoloable, dont make some dumb rule, just make it hard Well, that dumb rule makes it so we can't just be able to solo it 3 years from now when Jagex gives us flamethrowers and we can 1-hit every boss. If he slays a lot he should NOT use it, dragon defender is best in all slayer scenarios except wyverns ;-) No, my point is that if you slay a lot you will end up wanting that DFS to make the wyverns and dragons less annoying. Have you ever seen a 99 slayer kill wyverns using a mind/body shield still? That's rhetorical, btw. :roll: i use elemental shield on wyverns. they're such a rare task that i don't even bother with paying 25m for a shield for them and who uses dfs on dragons these days? People who fit these criteria: Do you have turmoil, overload, all best equipment, slay a lot, and have a big pile of geepees sitting on your bank doing nothing? 25m is dirt cheap for a lot of people. If the OP is one of such people (although I doubt it) there's no reason not to buy it. If you have 99 slay and still can't afford DFS then you're doing something wrong. I'm not anywhere near your stats and I still can afford it, so yeah. You think blade can't afford it? Lol He just doesn't buy it because it wouldn't be useful to him. Ok wyverns...a shield he'll use once a week for 70 kills, yay.

Your order is a bit messed up... Extremes > Turmoil > Chaotic > Yak > Fury > Berserker Ring > Claws > Overloads(If you plan to boss) > BCP ~ Tassets (depends if you get a torso or not). I'd place Overloads after claws because you wouldn't use OVL on your day to day monster. If you plan to hardcore boss, then ovl would be more worth it (but only really for soloing), even then, and spec weapon is important as well.
