Ain't it just lovely when our English fellows are struggling to pronounce these words and we can just walk in and go "lolitspronouncedlikethisnubs"? :P But yeah, I too get (at least mildly) annoyed when people repeatedly mispell a word over and over again and the wrong spelling spreads like a virus. Anyone want to barrow something from me, by the way? I bet there's words you don't pronounce right that English people do. It's just different language, you can't hate on people when they talk different. Although it's obviously not haiti I say "hate-ee", just because it follows what I know from english.
  2. Alright no need to be so harsh i realised i made a mistake ok so calm down. How is that being harsh?, he seemed pretty calm when he typed that.
  3. just a random note...you do realize that your argument about how higher stats make extremes better...is the same for prayers...right? Since those work purely on % If you're 1 attack and str, and you use turmoil....you get almost no boost, because turmoil works on %.
  4. I'm someone who's pointing out a flaw in your argument. Not really, that little "X doesn't/does to your Y" could go on for hours...in complete circles. Every single line would have had a flaw in it. I've already given my overall view on this (my view is no view matters since jagex decided already), so now I'm just having fun.
  5. Herblore isn't risked, is it? Rigour isnt risked is it? prayer is added to your combat level, isn't it? Attack is added to your combat level, isn't it? Who are you? I'm talking to pay me right now.
  6. You should probably quote the person who you're telling that to, there's two different people with Wyvern screenshots.
  7. Herblore isn't risked, is it? Rigour isnt risked is it? prayer is added to your combat level, isn't it?
  8. giving the chaos elemental pvp armor drops isn't going to suddenly make it worth doing...... chances are the drops are going to be very rare. Also, the chaos elemental is in multi combat..in the deepest part of the wilderness....far away from any safe teleport out. No one is going to effectively kill the chaos elemental after this update, unless they're a clan together. And even then, they'll be in d hide and whips at best. There are better places to kill hell hounds and greaters demons then in the wilderness, people will simply move if they want to use extremes to kill them (heck, most people with extremes already have access to better areas, such as Kuradals and resource dungeons).
  9. Torstol are not overrated. Without Juju potions, the average yield per seed is 6.5, and this DOES account for dead herbs. With Juju potions, this should increase your yield to around 9.75...still accounting for deaths. You won't make money every trip, but the ones you do far outwiegh those you don't. Without Juju potions, you're right, planting torstol is not good to do. With Juju potions...if you have the level, planting torstol is easily the most profitable.
  10. Playing on weekends does not stop you from getting 99s. You cannot compare excluding Overloads to excluding Torva. Overloads are not a risked benefit...ever, once you get the level, overloads are yours forever. Die with an overload, ok, spend 80k and make a new one If you wear Torva, you are risking 400m+. Loose a piece of torva...you loose 400m....yea, that's so similar to 80k How can you even logically begin to compare that?
  11. that's the answer I was referring to, if you interpret it some other way, you're simply looking for holes to argue through. Stop it. I wasn't talking about super prayer and anti-fires, Or spec restores for that matter (although those are op if you ask me) If overloads do work, it will be seen as a glitch, and be quickly fixed considering Pvp seems to be a high priority for Jagex...if there's a glitch with it, they fix that crap asap.
  12. This was an amazing thread to read through. My 2 cents on the topic....I have none. Want to know why? Because it wouldn't matter if I did. Jagex already made the decision to not allow Extremes (or at least their boost) in the new wildy. Soma, you're points are great to read through, I don't agree with many of them, but you definitely thought it through. That being said...tough luck, Jagex doesn't agree with you.
  13. Which has what to do with him killing cave crawlers? Nothing, but since he's going down there, he might as well do it. The cave crawler one is the hardest one to beat, all the others are just pray this while wearing that. Might as well get it done sooner then later. As for the original question, iirc the smoke actually does not fully kill you, so you don't actually need to be wearing a face mask. If you plan to melee them, take the masked earmuffs so you can get in without getting owned by the banshee, but wear a black mask for while you're killing for the boosted stats, you'll be praying anyways against them, so they're not a threat (make sure to take anti-poison++ though) at low hp, and you'll have the boosted stats.
  14. correct, they attack you twice, then heal jad (or themselves...they're greedy and care more about themselves), then attack twice, heal jad, etc.
  15. the first one is not wrong actually, they will still heal jad after you attack them IF they are close enough to him and within melee range of you. So, if you're standing close to Jad, and they're hitting you, they will send a healing spell to jad every 3rd hit they do. That being said, it is still much better to hit them, because if you don't, they heal him every combat turn, instead of every 3rd, also, you can trap a couple of them on each other so only 1 or 2 are actually able to hit you, so only 2 of them are still healing jad, at a much slower rate.
  16. That would be useless to put in... The only reason people would do that is if they're RWT....in which case...they could just trade it when it comes back.
  17. the average herb yield of 6.5 and 9.75 accounts for deaths...so yes.
  18. jagex sucks at metagaming :P exactly, they thought (just like every other update), that they would actually be used to great extent. Only a few times have they been right (like herblore habitat) Um, except for the farming potions, how particularly useful are the rest? Particularly, say, the wc/mining potion. /Offtopic. Both the mining and woodcutting potion make power mining/woodcutting less painfull, since you can have the guy bank your logs/ores on the spot, without moving from the rock/tree...although for wc, you'd be better off at Ivy. Other then the potions, the place itself is amazing hunter experience, giving almost double the original best gave, while also providing real uses.
  19. depends what you mean by betray....if you mean physically harm them like...irl or something...then no. If you mean just like...scam them in game, then it would depend on how close they were, and also keep in mind that with free trade coming soon, I could always just play around...'betray' them, then a week later give it back.
  20. you average 6.5 herbs (or is it 6.8?) per seed you plant, and this is accounting for deaths, while using super compost and magic secatures (which there is almost no reason you shouldn't have both), but not using Juju potions with juju potions, you average 9.75 per, still accounting for deaths. If you have a scroll of life (which you should, no reason not to), without Juju potions, the current best herb for profit is snapdragons, followed by Ranarr > Toadflax > Kwaurm With Juju potions, torstol pull far ahead. Followed once again by Snapdragon > Ranarr > kwaurm. In the short run, safer priced herbs like Kwaurm might make you more money, but once you start planting more seeds, it doesn't take long for ranarr and snapdragon to catch up and pass. Torstol should NOT be farmed unless you are using Juju potions...in which case if you have the level, there is little reason to not farm them

  22. Don't forget '10 All the new warnings are ridiculous, I made a new account while back for random fun....and omg...almost everywhere I went was a warning about something...the ditch was enough...and even that was unneeded since we had that nice notice pop up on our screen on our way to the wildy.
  23. I'm pretty sure when jagex made dungeoneering, they didn't forsee EVERYBODY with a hood and weapon, maybe a body at higher levels. When jagex made the skill, I'm pretty sure they thought players would actually bind different items, actually specialize themselves. They probably thought an ideal team would consist of a ranger, mager, a meleer or two and skiller. Each binding their own respective items. Obviously that isn't what has happened, jagex overlooked the usefulness and uselessness of items, such as the hood compared to armor. Players found they were able to complete dungeons faster and with greater ease just wearing a hood and powering through with a good melee weapon.
  24. Shooting what though? It depends on what your ranging as to whether the handcannon is worth using or not. Although, it actually would not surprise me if the hand cannon still one your little "test", as flawed as it may be. You're missing the point btw. The point isn't for the handcannon to last you a long time, the point is for you to use it to kill a monster that is profitable, using it because of it's superior DPS, so that you can get faster kills of said monster, and actually profit more per hour, even though you use a more expensive weapon.
