Frozen door (New)
    I think a 95 dungeoneering, or maybe even 100 would be nice, it'd make people motivated to at least go past a chaotic and frosts Although, if it at all follows the way the GWD works, it'd be level 70... <_< We also need a boss other than dagannoth rex where magic is the best style to use.

doors on teh way to rock lobs.
You still don't need an axe...in fact, the axe is still completely useless. You need 2 people. First, you open the north set of doors Then quickly run and open the south set of doors. One of you run back north and go through the door past the rock crabs, while the other person stays and runs though the ranging dagannoths. Meet at door supports, and have one of you shoot the opposite side. Then open the other one as well. If you need to rest, go up the ladder as it's safe up there.

The return of staking??
You like revenants? Fascinating... Are there others like you? I like revenants, they're fun to kill while doing clue scrolls.

Money/hour at solo mage dks?
Couple notes...the range of LS in the DKs lair is almost the full area, I've been 5 spaces from the ladder...with rex on the farthest opposite side...and have seen the drop. The range is longer than your minimap. As for a mage and hybrid lsing drops...it's EXTREMELY easy to get prime and supreme off the mager, once the guy maging runs back to his spot...supreme and prime will instantly go back on the hybrid after just one attack. The mage just needs to pray accordingly when he loots. When I solo maged rex a while back, I averaged 1.5m an hour, just like the OP, no yak. Sometimes I used dart when I was feeling cheap, usually used claws of guthix.

The return of staking??
yea, all the high level "pro" stakers will still do their mage boxing, no armor dds/claw fights, but low level stakers aren't as careful, and summoning will happen.

The return of staking??
Um ... not that it matters ... but wouldn't it be better to level the magic up to (I'm not sure) 60 (with binds and stuff, so you wont increase the HP) ... you'll have better defense against magers :? All low level pure accounts are made useless by summoning tanks, doesn't matter if you can darkbow a 8-8 iron titan will hit 690 on you. Maulers... gl with 1 attack I predict low level staking will be dramatically changed by summoning tanks, a level 45 can take out level 70s in one hit. Don't really need mage defense if I'm not going to be mage staking? And who on earth would stake with summoning on? :S While agree summoning will probably be a standard when staking comes back, the summoning rule IS slightly out of view, and could be very easy to sneak on.

Frozen door (New)
despite not being skill full, the mods can use any items in the game, they could us the best armor in the game against the boss. While players may have the skill to take it down, the fact that the J Mods couldn't kill it means it will be fairly strong.

1 year plus would be useless. If there was a real vote it'd only make sense if people who REALLY used those features and know what they were about could vote- set the limit at account created before 1. january 2007. Right now, most of the people voting no just didn't know what those features were about, thus there are reasons the current voting system makes sense. It is not a strict vote to determine the next prime minister, rather a popularity vote to see how many people find the page and put their name in the hat to support the idea, and if there is alot of buzz around the idea(as we can all see there is) the vote is a success. I'd love to vote no...and I've been playing since middle school (7 years ago) You can't prove for either side if the people voting have been playing long enough to know what it was like, so why make that claim?

Extremely expensive items vs. free trade

I'm sorry you can't use the wild as a safe place to do your slayer tasks or commodity the KBD anymore. I'm sure the wild was meant to be a place to afk, grind, and skill like the rest of runescape. Slayer tasks/KBD aren't in the wilderness. It helps to use examples that actually apply.

best mage gear in f2p?
Only the melee soak will give any benefit, and even then, it's very minimal The staff from Blood Pact, forgot it's name, gives +1 more mage bonus then the elemental staffs while also providing unlimited air runes. And don't forget about the Runecrafter gloves if you're really going for max mage. The magical Blast box could also be considered for it's inventory saving +extra 25% damage hits. I wouldn't risk them in pvp worlds though, but they're great fun at clan wars and the duel arena.

Then quote them...not me...I'm tired of people quote the wrong people, but answering someone else, all it does is cause confusion or unnecessary arguments to start just over a misunderstanding. -.-

Staking stats?
He asked for low level stakers, summoning tanks are just that...if you can sneak in the Summoning on rule. You're right about there being basically 3 main ways of staking...however...those are high levels who do it that way. Back before the limits were made and staking was going on, people level 60 and below had very few rules, most of them only did rules like no food, prayer and potions. Low level stakers used all combat types, and had most armor on. A summoning tank would be perfect for low level staking if you can get summoning on.

That isn't even close to why people who oppose this...oppose this... This thread just went right over your head, didn't it? So what is the reason? That you can't vote "no?". That's why people oppose this? You oppose something not because you disagree with the issue but because you can't vote against it? :???: When did I say that? Don't put words in my mouth please. I have my own reasons for opposing this update. Most of it revolving around the free trade aspect.

25% is roughly 318k votes. That is in almost 2 days. In no way shape or form could the naysayers come close to that. Proof? You have no idea how many people would vote no...because..well...WE CAN'T VOTE NO! My plan on what I'm going to do is keep playing, like I do now. Doesn't mean I can't be against this.

Staking stats?
The most important thing about staking was that there were VERY few popular ways of doing it, so even if you can make an account that can beat everyone standing on your head licking your toes, it'd be useless as everyone would only fight standing up with boxing gloves. The only three very popular ways of staking used to be melee boxing, melee 1 item wep with specs and mage 1 item staking. All of these could make you billions, with any other method only used if both of the people felt good about it and had experience in them. I bolded the part you either missed, or ignored.

Staking stats?
summoning tank. Good luck getting to people to let you have summoning on though :P

It's not something you buy first, but it's far from a horrendous waste of money.

Same.. Wheres my "Worst Update Ever" T-Shirt? Add me to that list, too. I find it deucedly strange that you cannot vote "no" and yet anyone can vote "yes" on your behalf ... Looks like a rigged vote to me. That's how I feel...I accidentally voted yes because I thought I was logging in to vote...nope, just enter a name...click the vote button...and that means you voted yes... You know there's going to be those idiots out there who just go down the highscores list entering in names... It's a real shame...this is such a bad idea... -.-
