  1. what about chaotics? Arcane stream necklace? Coal and gem bags? Prayers?
  2. I remember when hunter first came out, I actually liked it then... Now I hate it, it's my second lowest skill.
  3. "a magical force prevents you from....."
  4. I think that's just the artist and their friend. You're probably thinking of the Varrock Librarian (forgot his name) as Paul/andrew.
  5. Your prestige is your previous progress, you want it to be high.
  6. I thought gravite rapier was almost the same as rune scimmy? Is it worth 40k tokens? lol. No, especially considering the person buying them is a member.
  7. he could of thought the Hilt turns into godsword for the ge :P
  8. Think first, then post. Not everyone knows how Coinshare drops work with the GE Think first, then post.
  9. Errm, no, that was 2005, 5 years ago  Umm...what? No, that's about 2 years ago.
  10. Wow, that's a good amount of xp for floor 1 :P
  11. what do you mean it doesn't? Doesn't help you kill it? You just command it to attack it
  12. The wolpertinger could help you kill that last one, while also giving you magic xp, while also giving you magic level boosts. Swaping 3 items and clicking call familiar is hardly a hassle.
  13. I think of it like Lootshare... In this case, getting your offer in first, is like missing a drop (having high LSP) You have the best chance of your offer getting done first, but that doesn't mean others can't get theirs in either
  14. God stole instead of arcane stream Soul wars cape instead of god cape Boots of lightness instead of infinity Ring of life Penance gloves or barrows gloves Magic attack bonus is extremely overrated. Prayer bonus is the most important. Weight reducing gear is important too (but not as important ever since the agility update) Bunyips are the best familiar to bring also wolpers mess up lures by attacking/distracting the lobsters He should take the prayer stuff AND the mage stuff, he can wear the prayer boosting gear while lureing, and the magic gear while using magic. There's a VERY easy solution to the wolpertinger problem, it's this new thing they added where you can call your familiar, and when you do it over and over while luring, your familiar doesn't have time to attack. You guys are really trying to be lazy about this :P
  15. oh...one more thing, do you have a seers>Becon>explorer's ring? Every little bit helps.
  16. OR, he could take both, using the stole while lureing them (the ONLY time he'll be praying), and use the arcane when actually bursting. Anyways, you basically have the best money saving setup there. Have fun. Use a wolper if you can.
  17. Boosts life points means...boosts life points, you have more life points.... You're on a discussion forum, you're supposed to discuss your point, not give a metaphor and hope people know what you're talking about. And don't insult me for not understanding an extremely vague post.
  18. [hide] I suppose that's one way to completely miss the point of the post... And there's another. The Elysian/Rune Kite was an example of the point I'm trying to make. Sometimes, it's important not to argue the example, but instead to argue the point. If you want me to state what I'm saying flatout, fine by me. Here it is: You cannot say whether or not something is useless if you do not know any of the specifications. So maybe there's boots that increase your max LP and your regen, but lowers your defense. You want to tell me from just that information that it's no good? You want to tell me that from just that information given, you can immediately foresee all the applications and uses? Every niche? Every possibility? You want to tell me that from just that information given, you can run efficiency calculations to determine whether or not a DFS or Divine is superior? What if it doubles your LP and gives bunyip-esque regeneration at the cost of no defenses? What if it gives +50/100 LP restore to any food/drinks you consume, at the cost of adding 5% damage to hits over 200? What if it works like Guthans, and gives you a chance to heal what you hit, at the cost of being the armor equivalent to rune? Is it still completely and utterly useless what you immediately assumed it to be? Of course, I don't know what Jagex has in mind, if they have this in mind at all. It may very well be useless and pointless armor. But there's absolutely no way you could draw that conclusion from such a vague description. That's just ignorance and being trigger-happy with assumptions. [/hide] Except you said nothing even close to that the first time What you said the first time was this Armor that allows me to eat past my max hp, but lets my opponent hit me more often/harder. I fail to see how I was supposed to get your 'point' from what you said the first time. For the future, YES! BE SPECIFIC THE FIRST TIME!
  19. I'm sorry...but what? You weren't talking about anything even remotely close to an Elysian then.
  20. Yes, he drops feathers
  21. It was lag. I know the guy lagged...I'm talking about the 0s actually being hits but he was healing during the lag, what 99_melee suggested.
  22. Imo I don't think the guy was stuck on 1 hp forever he was just lagging. What was really going on was the guy was getting hit with what looked like 0s, but he was actually taking damage and eating accordingly so not to die. I am 99% sure that is NOT how that works.
