Priorities for dungeoneering
I religiously get a thigat shortbow in every starting room, but have yet to see a starting object on c6 above zeph. I'll look at upping spears when I can. Anything else?
-
Herbcall spamming?
No, you only get a herb about a 10th of the time and they're usually low levelled (harralander-).

Priorities for dungeoneering
I'd love to get a prom p++, but alas, I have not the attack level to wield the Spear. Same tough biccies for the arrows too. I've been in dung smith, everyone I've talked to can only go up to gorg anyway, and I've a higher herby level then most people there italked too.

Priorities for dungeoneering
So I've got 33m to burn, and instead of putting it into something useful, I'm gonna put it into DUNG. It's become myfavourite skill apart from slayer, and while I don't train it efficiantly I do it for a bit of fun. I've got an argonite spear (p+) and 125 argonite arrows bound ATM. What should I look into for a weapon and stats goal? What are my immediate priorities?
-
Herblore
Heh, I was only offering because I'd be training herblore in the near future. Now that I think about it, more efficiant for both of us to wait (you sell in ge, I'll get later).
-
Herblore
If you need to sell them right now, I can't help. Wait about 6 hours till I get home, probably be able to buy them. Ofc, you could resell them in the ge before that.

Altaring Bones
In the vicinity of 1.3-1.45k bones per hour.
-
Herblore
I've stated multiple times that spec restores are the way to go.... You save about 1.4 gp/exp and it's 20 exp more per potion, more efficniant any way you look at it... I just don't think the END PRODUCT is useful for anywhere you need invent space (hence SLAYER TASKS would be a good place to use them). Go back through my posts man.

Bones
He means d bones. You can offer about 1.2k bones an hour with a decent familiar. You need 108k b bones or about 24k d bones, so b bones will take about 4/5 times as long, so about 90/100 hours compared with the 20 of d bones.

Herblore
You got the right idea. Brews are more efficiant then super attacks with 1m/hour cash. You'll spend more cash doing the extremes between levels, but save time in the long run. Also, I highly reccomend spec restores, they're more efficiant then brews for any income, as I've said multiple times, the end product is just nearly useless.

Someone will beat me to the punch, but I can't dk calcs ATM either. In a class that doesn't need a calculator with a Nazi teacher. Spec restores are 26.32 gp/exp, brews are 27.89 gp/exp, super attacks are 23.84 gp/exp. Basically always spec restores > brews. I'll run the calc on other stuff asap.

Ffs slayer again
I could borrow it for those tasks...it just doesn't seem to beat a defender + whip without 85 herby.
-
Herblore
It's all about time efficiancy. Iirc (I'll check the sheets, I'll give you a def. Answer) brews and spec restores are around the same gp/exp, but spec restores give an extra 20exp per pot, leading to faster exp. Again, if you're a povo kid stick with super attacks, but if you make a decent amount super attacks to brews, brews to specs, specs to 96.
-
Herblore
Make brews if you plan to use them shortly or if you make a pretty sum. They're like twice as fast as super attacks, but cost like 3-5 gp/exp more. If you make enough to cover your costs in the time you save, make brews.

farming
I do avantoes, low risk and not bad reward. I always profit because I use the trollheim patch. I meant is it worth using the allotment (sweetcorn, watermelon, ect) patches while herb farming? It's extra exp (getting more valuable the higher level I get), but it costs. And I don't like costs.
-
Herblore
Yeah, you majorly misunderstood me. Spec restores are the bomb for exp, but the end product is by and large useless.

Ffs slayer again
I'm like 2m short of claws :/ I'd prefer not to get luxuary gear just yet, the only thing I can think of at this stage is karils/zs (and I don't have 85 herby for zs :/). Should I put it to work merching or something? (not that I know how too)
-
Herblore
No, nonono. Make spec restores, they're the best pot to make for exp if you earn over 500k/hour or so (which you can, anyone can). Just don't expect to use them. Squareroot, you'd still be strapped for invent spaces at bosses. I see plenty of people bringing yaks/unis to bandos, they've got an extra 28 spaces (yak - uni pouch and scrolls), but they don't bring spec restores.
-
farming
I meant me, not the op. I didn't think it was worth making another topic... I do herb runs, pick cactuses, marigolds and papayas.
-
Herblore
88 and use greenman's ales. Be warned tha spec restores really arn't that useful. Most bosses, it would be more useful to bring an extra brew or something. They're really only good for stuff where invent space isn't an issue (slayer tasks, camping az's/monkeys, ect).

Ffs slayer again
So I've obtained this gear (and pots, but I'm not counting them): Dds, whip, barrows top/bottom, fury, d boots, slayer helm, prosyl top/bottom, b gloves, lumby ring 3, rune defender, sw cape. I've got like 33m left to work with, what do I do with it?
-
Herblore
I'm not arguing against it, spec restores are like 27 gp/exp, but they're useless.
-
farming
Sorry for hijacking, but if you do farming for profit is it really worth doing allotments?

Ffs slayer again
Excellent. I'll get it it in the morning. Though I'll use guthan's plate instead, cheaper and same bonuses. Going to use a dds for specs.
