  1. Not worth the time unless you remember to hold onto dragon bones, honestly. On the other hand, in groups all the prayer exp goes to you.
  2. All melee xp done at cave crawlers using effigies on slayer first, then runecrafting and then agility. = 15,372 hours Slaying for all slayer xp and finishing melee stats at cave crawlers using all effigies on rc and agility = 17,261 hours Both those is starting at 99 ^ @ Jebrim : Cave Cralwers handle the summoning exp, of course (done with the methods aribiterspar is mentioning here) @ Aribiterspar : Iirc, Someone posted that using effigies on slayer and finishing melee exp at cave crawlers actually yields a higher exp/hour; Do you have any math to back this up? I know it's true, but I'd like to see the numbers to determine whether or not it would be worth it, considering Runecrafting and agility exp from the extra effigies is likely more valuable than the overall faster exp rate. Is technically best way 2 max slayer however Slaying for all slayer xp and finishing melee stats at cave crawlers using all effigies on rc and agility takes 175 less hours than Slaying using effigies gained through slayer on slayer and finishing melee xp at crawlers using the effigies from cave crawlers on runecrafting and just to put in perspective, the first method, doing nothing but cave crawlers and using lamps on slayer then rc/agility is 1714 hours or so faster than the other 2 The cost is a huge limiting factor for players like Suomi unfortunately, so I can see Slayer + Slayer as an option for our nonmerching 200m players. On the other hand, the donation compaign could have a hefty effect on Suomi's decisions when it comes to this. It's still a massive price to pay however.

  4. Among someone at yours, my and gol's levels it is
  5. I don't know how much you lurk this thread, but posts like those are a reoccuring theme throughout this thread. These people obviously don't read even a single page of discussion here, so it's probably best to just ignore them as they likely won't check back for any replies. On The efficiency discussion, whether or not it is important to the consistency and likeliness of All 200ms, no one can deny that the time spreadsheets involving the top players etc. Isn't an interesting and informative read, which is what we're here for in a thread watching the top players anyways.
  6. I've known Curb for a while. He doesn't seem to be thinking too far into the future with his methods etc. And I'm unsure if he merches or not. He's not a contender for 1st to all 200ms yet anyways
  7. You want to know why we don't care if someone just recently maxed total that you know? They're nowhere near being a contender for 200M ALL SKILLS.
  8. @ Drumgun : Most of the comments directed at you are not critisizing your particular choices when it comes to getting 200ms; It would be impossible to predict future updates. I think that they are rather stating that it would be inefficient for you, compared to someone else who doesn't have maxed melee/low slayer etc to go for all 200ms. I admit I was guilty at first of looking down upon your combat exp, but looking at the dates it makes sense now
  9. It seems to be a reoccuring theme to get a post nearly identical to this one every 5 or so pages... Btw, Iirc some of the top players only have 10-15k hours left to go, which wouldn't take a "lifetime"
  10. To be fair, back when Jeb let everyone talk in his cc he got a lot of trolls and dumb questions (things that he answers on his thread such as the best way to go from level 50-80, etc etc)
  11. On the subject of divine versus elysian : Nex can deal damage so quickly that you often use a super rest without restoring your prayer fully (Restoring 20 prayer instead of 33) to compensate for loss of stats brewing; Thus rendering the extra restores gained with elysian nigh useless Also @ Xpx : I haven't seen a hit on nex above 500 either.
  12. If you're slaying you won't be using the barrows helms, which means you would only be using a platebody and platelegs On top of that, 50 smithing = 25% reduction to costs. You're talking 10k/hour...
  13. Just trying to breathe some more life, some people's seriousity make my toes curve. Because posts talking about spam obviously don't create more spam. On topic, depending on the power and reliability of the new ranger armor, could soloing corp become a viable method for effigies? Considering that woox16 has managed to kill it in 2 minutes(?) And corp has an apporximate effigy drop rate of 1/18, Corp would be a better effigy dropper than anything else. Not suggesting it as a method for 200m all skills as it would take a ridiculous amount of time to get that good at corp, but it's still some food for thought. Also, Apparently Nex drops 2 effigies at once?
  14. I was told the effigy rate from cave crawlers had been nerfed recently, is this not the case? @jopo: just because he's training a skill now doesn't mean he's going for 200m exp in it I cannoned 99 ranged there recently and the drop rate was what i expected it to be, doubt it's changed. Vouch, I averaged an effigy every 50 minutes there last week.
  15. If only you could teach everyone this
  16. gl getting 83k xp/h at nats lol on my birthday some friends ran me nats for couple hours and i was almost constantly being traded and my hand hurt like hell at the end as kingio would also tell you when he did his 3m zmi/day its hell with all that clicking as well as i was getting maybe 50k xp/h-55k at nats practically max pace DIddnt I see a confirmation of 100k rc/hour at nats with larryrs old company? Or am I hallucinating.
  17. You've basically covered it all Ancient. There's not much more we could do (Fletch? Why?) considering we use Ores for Ragers, [rarely] fish for food, and runes for transportation. Things like theiving chests aren't really skilling anyways
  18. Xensure : Did you take into account the fact that Agil, Rc etc. Exp is more valuable than melee exp in your effigy caculations? I imagine they would play a big part in determining what the best method is.
  19. I wouldn't consider skillcapes an ahicvement..regardless, because you asked what the hardest skillcape was to achieve and not the hardest 99, the titel goes to untrimmed summoning.
  20. my avg exp/hr life time is 52k which is what this list is about - thats pretty avg for alot of people so its avg on that list too (remember maxed players are normal players too) basically old school people are likely to be lower on the list also because they gained playtime before the faster methods were invented or maybe gained playtime b4 peeople started playing hardcore for levels and exp and ranks basically a few years ago noone even had 1b exp and now multiple people @ 2b so yes they can train with methods that the people at the top now used but quit and far behind now. Just so you know, I figured out your hours based on your exp/hour and total exp :P Using this we could probbaly figure out most players days if we know a few players around them
  21. He seems to have saved up various "faster" exp rates like brawlers and the like, so who knows.
  22. Regarding slayer versus runecrafting for effigies, we have to keep in mind rc assists on the way to 200m all skills ; Getting 200m runecrafting earlier on in itself is ineffccient since you can expect to spend at least 5? years on 200m all skills
  23. There's also the alternative of tds for those who lack money. Effigies and exp at about half the rate of cave crawlers but a huge profit per hour (i've heard 5m+)
  24. unfortunately it's impossible for me to log my kills because I'm ranging them with cannon (varied amounts of damage:ranged exp) but I have been recording my effigies per hour so far. I've seen your stastics before and if I decide to continue cave crawlers i'll likely be using dharoks, so I could defintely contribute. Ps. I've been using void ranged with anti poison totem/steel titan , just fyi. IT works quite nicely only needed 2 ranged pots per inventory and no antis, but i'm not sure if it would be better than void deflector or not.
  25. I suggest you check my adventurer's log I got 3 effigies in an hour at cave crawls, and have been averaging 1.5 an hour. I don't know if my method yields many more kills than others or not or if I'm gettign extremely lucky but either way it's by far the best way to train /e forgot you can't see the times lol, but I haven't heard of anyone getting these high rates although my sample size is only about 20 effigies
