01-Mar-2011 - Elemental Workshop IV
Who says a boss battle HAS to be combat based? Many other games have boss battles that are purely down to other skills etc.It could easily be a non-combat puzzle based boss monster; eg if it is the apprentice in his Da Vi type body in a room with a soul machine we could have to sneak through and work the soul machine to restore his soul. Or in a death room use the machines death energy machine to kill him. That'd be a pretty cool way to end the series. More quest moral decisions please. Anyways, I finished the quest, and I guess I overestimated its difficulty, because it was actually fairly easy and enjoyable to me. I found the chaos puzzle extremely funny for some reason. And the new lobby looks...interesting? Never did like this new "theme" they've adopted..guess I'll learn to live with it after a while.

09-Feb-2011 Prisoner of Glouphrie and Gnome Graphical Rework
The quest, like most of the more recently released quests, was shorter than I anticipated. :( But it was pretty fun, and it had a nice chunk of reward exp to boot. Filter update seems sorta nice, guess that means no more random censoring.

Future Update Discussions
That second wild picture either must be old, or Jagex decided to go on a time machine to 2009 ish. The previous hitsplats? The old shield defend animation (look at the guy in rune)? The old dharok's greater axe wield stance? And who fights a guy in dharoks with a rat pole and full skeletal? Heh, just picking apart the picture. Anyways, not looking too forward to this update.

Wilderness and Free Trade will return - 17 January 2011
I'm not sure if I agree with the gravestone mechanics, but I can probably live with it eventually. I'm also a little intrigued as to the exact specifications of quests and quest rewards in the wilderness. But almost not choosing to do anything with Distractions and Diversions? For starters, that just means a little more trouble doing stars and clues maybe. But more importantly (to me at least), that probably means no more penguin trapping and tracking in the wild for me...as pkers will probably swarm a penguin and attempt to hurt those that are hunting wilderness penguins for free kills, especially on World 60. Yes, I know the Wild is supposed to be dangerous. But that doesn't mean you can't stop me from not liking it. Jagex, I am EXTREMELY dissapointed. :x /rage I'm probably just acting silly, being a penguin addict and all... <_<

17-Jan-2011 - Hati The Winter Wolf
What is this I don't even... :ohnoes:

04-Jan-2011 King of the Dwarves
Well in my opinion the quest and rewards were a little underwhelming, though I won't say no to some free and quick exp. I did widen my eyes a bit at that last plot twist that developed though...

Ava's Alerter
Ah, I misunderstood you...I think you only get one free elite. I don't think it would be fair to have multiple free elite clues, would it? (That would've been nice though...) I'll try though when I finish mine, but it seems to just be a one time hidden reward.
-
Ava's Alerter
The person who first found this compiled a list of four confirmed locations so far: 1. Lletya 2. Lunar Isle 3. Penguin Iceberg 4. Meiyerditch I found mine on Lunar Isle...there don't seem to be any other locations.

Correction to Penguin Location disguises
I think this belongs here...feel free to move it if it doesn't. On the weekly penguin locations list for December 22-December 29, the one pointer penguins are listed with the snowman disguise and the two pointer penguins are listed with their normal disguises. However, I've checked the disguises that came with this week's penguins in game, and all 10 penguins have the snowman disguise, not just the one point penguins. This will probably apply as well to future upcoming penguin location lists until Jagex remove the snowman disguise again. If you could fix that, it would be awesome, thanks. :)

20-Dec-2010 - O Little Town of Daemonheim (Christmas 2010)
I really liked this event, something different and enjoyable. (I will admit to "cheating" a bit in the snow angel room though... :geek: ) The Heimland Games area is also a good place to have fun with your friends or the other random people there; I myself had a lot of fun failing at the seal racing area.

Future Update Discussions
It's going to be interesting to see how these new hitsplats and damage soaking work out, thought I'm not really a fan of how rectangular-ish the hitsplats look, in my opinion. Hopefully it will be tolerable enough...

07-Dec-2010 - Tools for Clans {Developer Blog}
Glad to see they're working on this, very much needed. And Mod Chihiro posted this on the dev blog forum thread: If this update works as anticipated, I will love Jagex even more.

07-Dec-2010 - Warriors Guild and Dragon Defender
Interesting update, but judging by the posts so far, I'm waiting for a bit until I get a dragon defender. But what's this... ... In terms of penguin points, nothing has changed, but the penguin and polar bear spies now have some weird locations. I knew it was coming, but didn't expect it so soon. Well, thanks for complicating my "job" Jagex. (I still love you though. Somewhat.)

24-Nov-2010 - Tasks and Skill Targets
Mixed emotions for this part of the update. (Rant rant rant below) Tasks. It's rather pretty, but there seems to be a lot of clicking just to search and find out information about one task, making it a tad confusing. Granted, there is a fair bit more information once you click on the task, and I like the feature where they display what the requirements are for that specific task. They probably should separate the corresponding diary tasks more clearly; I can't tell which ones are which. And there are SO MANY TASKS (and a few are just random). It's not all bad though, because I actually now have the urge to go do these tasks. And the new emote for completing all of them is HOT. DO WANT. :ohnoes: Skill targets. It's a lot more friendly than the Objectives system in terms of setting goals, which I'm going to like a lot. However that text size is ungodly small compared to before. That's going to hurt the eyes of a few; even I can't see it very well. Hopefully they'll make it bigger. Oh, and now that they've removed that tab where objectives once went, I always have the urge to click it now...It's so inviting! (I wonder what's going to go there in the future...) tl;dr version: Great concepts, meh execution.

[CONFIRMED] No update today
Well I can live with that, but if these updates are going to be pushed back even more... Makes you wonder exactly how big these updates are if they're changing up the engine so much. :-k

Future Update Discussions
Hmm, I don't think so...Those big green tubular thingies remind me of the Jade Vine maze, which is east-ish of Shilo Village, and they did say in the BTS it was going to be just south of the Jade Vine Maze. So I think that would place it about right here... (Forgive me for my lame Paint skills) I think it should be pretty interesting, but that hunter requirement is a big turnoff for me. If it turns out to be a good activity though, I know what I'm going to be training for the next few days. ;-)

18-Oct-2010 - Partying is Such Sweet Sorrow (Halloween 2010)
Aww, that was a little too short in my opinion. :( Either way, it was actually quite fun, an improvement over last year in my opinion. The rewards are awesome, especially the brooch, which I will find quite useful for my purposes. *Rocks out to Black Zebeth*

06-Oct-2010 - The Void Stares Back
^ Yeah, just talk to Commander Tyr after the quest and he'll upgrade the regular Void armor for 100 commendations to Elite Void Armor. I managed to defeat the boss and complete the quest (and get my quest cape back, huzzah! <3: ), but damn, that was waaay too close. Overall, it was a fun quest, just a bit too short.

The Great Penguin Invasion
As celebration for 100 versions of the Penguin Locations forum thread and 100 weeks of the world 60 penguin chats, a few of my friends have organized a mass bombing of Runescape with clockwork penguin suits and cabbages. At my friend's insistence, I made a little teaser video to promote it... Youtube HD Video - This video will cause high CPU usage, to view the video in a lower quality, please click here. Read the description if you'd like more information. And don't be too harsh, this is the first video of my making that I have actually uploaded to the interwebs.

Ooh, another thing, called the XP counter. Looks like they recycled that thing from the bonus EXP weekend.

12-Apr-2010 - Dungeoneering Skill!
Well, this caught me (and probably everybody else) off guard...sadly I can't try it now. Looks quite nice.
