  1. ohhh the irony.... ON TOPIC: Botting is bad... don't do it... eat your vegetables... brush your teeth
  2. Alright, thanks! I'll go try it out
  3. When farming ranarrs, how do you ensure that they do not die? Or do you just plant them and hope they don't die?
  4. Alright, so about 120k/hr? Thanks!
  5. Was wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimate of cash + exp per hour at 67 fishing, catching lobsters. Thanks!
  6. Monkey Madness is pretty easy, I have done it before at high 80s cb level and 50 something range with magic bow... unless you mean without a guide; I used a guide and it did take me a few hours. MM has barely any level requirements though.
  7. Apparently, as a way of giving F2P a fun weapon, Jagex has included the easter carrot as an option for (all?) players to redeem, whether they completed the event or not. On my current account, which I began less than 2 months ago, I can obtain the easter carrot from Diango. However, I have completed the Easter 2010 event (in which year the prize was the squirrel ears, not the easter carrot), leading me to ask: Is the easter carrot available yearly from the Easter event, or for all players? Edit: Apparently it was given out, but was wondering why they gave out the carrot when they could have just done a repeat of the chicken
  8. Why would that be a good idea? Wouldn't a player who had worked years to save up for a blue partyhat, and sold all of his items to be able to afford one, become enraged when his entire bank was wiped? That would be like wiping the bottom 50,000 people with 99 cooking's stats to make the cooking cape what it once used to be, a signal of 'skill.' Perhaps to counter the inflation that would occur from the addition of billions of gp into the game, Jagex could also plop a few whips, coal, bandos, herbs, furies, or whatever people with rares would buy onto the g.e. (not a perfect idea, but it's better than wiping someone's bank) Maybe it's a good thing you didn't get your way?
  9. Alright, thanks
  10. Is mining pure essence at level 62 mining in the magic guild a good source of money?
  11. Alright, thanks everyone
  12. If I was to get members at my current 76 wc and buy a dragon axe, would I make money faster at magics than yews? If not, approx. at what level do magics become better?
  13. True! Neither my brother or I macro, but if one of us did and the other got banned for it because of same IP address, one of us would be furious!
  14. Definitely the 'ship thingy'
  15. Or there could be a skill called Insulting, where you insult the monsters so they get mad and attack you, and the higher your level, the longer the insult works
  16. If hitpoints have become constitution and have been multiplied by 10, why hasn't prayer been multiplied by 10 as well? I thought that prayer drained in tenths, so wouldn't it make sense to show the player's actual point count?
  17. So is the bunny ears, or the scythe. Would the players who have them mind if Jagex give them out again? It's just a cosmetic item. The answer is yes, by the way. a difference is a difference. Bunny ears and scythe show longevity. Flag shows fiscal naivety (or affluence if you happen to have some money to burn, yet still nothing game-related)
  18. Yes, as rune essence is not such a great reward for the GOP. But I guess it would affect the market a bit I doubt that anyone gets membership solely for pure essence True
  19. A while ago, Jagex made rune essence and pure essence separate to discourage level 3 bots mining essence to give to their main accounts. Now that this is limited by trade restrictions, is there a point to having two different types of essence?
  20. No, but the item is clearly there... I might try later (as there are more serious 'bugs' to be 'abusing' I suppose)
  21. On my current account, which I started only around a month ago, I have the option to claim the Easter Carrot, a holiday item from previous years, from Diango. Is this a glitch?
  22. Most people who don't live within driving distance (e.g. Australia or U.S.) might be tempted to deposit the multi-thousands of dollars into a savings account instead However, I personally don't care about a banner (which could very well be a laughingstock to some people)
  23. I heard that onyx (the gem) is actually worth much more than its market price, but can't see why; you can buy it in TzHaar for tokkul, can't you? Anyway, is it really 50m+, and why is it worth this much?
  24. The problem with Dungeoneering is that it has limited application in that you can only use it in one place: Daemonheim. Whereas with Slayer, a skill that allows you to defeat monsters scattered throughout Runescape, Dungeoneering levels are only applicable to what bosses you can fight in the dungeon, the complexity of the dungeon, etc. Furthermore, not only are the rewards untradable, but they also degrade and are difficult to replace if lost in combat. Granted, there are some useful rewards like the bonecrusher, but what if you were to lag and lose valuable item? You guessed it: hours more of dungeon grinding. Another problem is that the dungeons are more or less the same, making it monotonous to re-complete dungeons over and over again. The puzzles do switch and the bosses do alternate, but what you're really looking at is a series of rooms comparable to a sort of skill-oriented barrows: monsters to kill in each room and puzzles to solve, but with an added skiller bonus. However, the EXP rates are reduced from the norm, yielding no worthwhile experience in any skill except for Dungeoneering itself. I admit that the idea of a 'Minigame Level' is somewhat interesting, but Dungeoneering needs tangible rewards. Once you have acquired the 104m or so EXP for level 120 (or 10.4m tokens), what are you going to buy? A second bonecrusher? While games like Barbarian Assault and Soul Wars have an option to cash your points for a random item, and Soul Wars and Pest Control let you trade your points for EXP, Dungeoneering does nothing of the sort. (Unless, of course, you wish to acquire more useless Dungeoneering EXP, which will surely come in handy while in GWD, cutting magics, mining ores, PKing, thieving, potion making, or even allowing you to restore your run energy more quickly!)
