For me, if the person appears to be efficient and has decent stats (for example, at a slayer task or mining site) then I would hop. If the person is low-levelled or afking (wasting time) then I would take their spot Sometimes I hop when people find me to be 'low-levelled' and take my spot

For only 20 more cooking xp per fish, lobsters lose money while tuna breaks even; I did 1-90 cooking in F2P and while most of it was lobsters, I'm not sure whether it was worth it (seeing as how my best moneymaker was GOP) Edit: Now that I think about it, when I had a ton of lobsters banked, the Karamja lobster-noting update came out, causing lobsters to crash. That might have been the main source of my loss

You only need 60 in the gathering skills and crafting, which isn't extremely hard to get. For me, the most annoying thing about SC is being killed by barragers, so Fast SC is actually more fun in my opinion
