Please learn your idioms before you use them. It's an issue that hasn't been resolved or been elaborated upon by Jagex by giving a final solution. If you have nothing to contribute, don't bother to post.

Alternatively, it would mean people who aren't in PvM clans would actively seek to make teams if they knew they'd be getting a cut that was more than the G.E price of said items, meaning more would come into the game.

It will only happen with Vorago when/if they fix coinshare. Also, it's not an issue of difficulty for me, it's an issue of Jagex not making the difficulty of bosses that drop same tier items consistent with each other.

Jagex are just [bleep]ing awful at game balance. As long as they continue to make different bosses with varying levels of difficulty that drop same tier equipment, they'll never get it right. It's the typical example of them still thinking they know best about how people play their game and therefore what content they want. The original barrows and Nex are the two best pieces of PvM content they ever released because both drop items for all three styles, making the prices of each relatively uniform. Vorago was just poorly implemented. He is considerably stronger and more time consuming than KK, so naturally it makes sense that his drops would cost more. That's not the issue, the issue is Jagex not putting their idiot heads together to realise that Vorago should have been a T95 boss, not 90. Anyone who is fine with, or agrees that max cash for Seismics is good game design seriously needs their head examined. Nothing about it is even remotely sensible. Time and time again Jagex shoot themselves in the foot by not thinking ahead. This is all T90 equipment, so not true endgame. I'd love to see someone with level 90 combat stats get into a team for Vorago or even KK and get the items aimed for their level. In fact, the more I think about it, the more I realise that Jagex's balancing team must consist entirely of retarded chimps.

Runefest 3 Discussion
Super Barrows was going to be the first PvM boss I was interested in since QBD. Starting to get tired of bosses that require BIS items just to stand a chance.

Hoorah for a one content update month. Seriously though, no wonder they've been publicising Barrows so much, it's the only update they have to talk about.

Yeah, I live in East Anglia, and all we got was a few hours of rain and heavy winds.

Considering Cambridge is in the south east and the storm is worst in the west, I doubt there will be much disruption.

no it wouldn't. Rockshell etc would still be better for slayer, and there's nowhere that requires strong defense against all three styles.DK's beg to differ. Also, if Jagex had any sense (they don't) they would release at least one style of 2H T85 weapon for ports. The weapons wouldn't damage the prices of the T90 weapons because they're dual wield and they'd still be five levels below them which negates the extra power that 2H generally has over dual wield. But, it's going to go one of two ways. Either Jagex will release weapons through ports but make them suck ass through Jagex magic or they'll release utterly redundant equipment i.e. shields that serve little to no purpose at all.

I would've thought the fact that it's the only wand for the higher tiers that is moderately affordable, but damn if you didn't just prove me wrong. There's a big difference in damage from t60 to t80 spells, that should go without saying. Both Ahrim's and the Wand of Treachery are T70, but even they are much weaker than Virtus. I'm really hoping we get some T85 weapons with the PoP update but I don't see that happening. Chances are, we'll just be getting a shield, buckler and book.

I don't understand why they refuse to just make a chaotic wand and book/orb available. That way, they could just leave Virtus wand and book as weapons that don't degrade whilst also providing an alternative to people who don't want to/can't shell out 100m+ for a wand alone. If it drives the price down in the process, that can only be a good thing as they're artificially overpriced anyway.

You can't get it anymore. It was a promotion they ran back at the start of the year. Chances are, they'll do it again next year.

I'm interested in the text box more than anything. If that portal leads to, or contains part of the Shadow Realm, I'm assuming the brothers are going to be powered up by it or something.

Sirenic Armour- 22nd October
Considering the scales drop from Slayer monsters, the price will gradually go down. If they dropped from everything but Slayer mobs, I'd see your cause for concern. People training Slayer will get scales as part of a task, so the supply should remain steady. I agree that 250m for a degrade to nothing armour set is absurd, but it won't stay that high. Complaining that the price should immediately be settled straight after release is pointless. Everything, and I mean everything new will always have an inflated price, it's simply unavoidable. I also don't see how this set is for the rich only. If anything, it's more accessible than any high tier armour set because any average Joe can go hunting for scales.

Sirenic Armour- 22nd October
Putting aside the boring bickering, has anyone actually been hunting these at all? I've spent around 4-5 hours at Dark Beasts and gotten three scales. Interested to see/hear what the drop rate is like from the Legione bosses.

I have already addressed quite literally every single thing you have mentioned, I have no interest in repeating myself. Sorry, but to me, it just sounds like you have a personal vendetta against the obscenely rich.

Even though Sy just provided concrete info that Zaros was already exhibiting signs of becoming a recluse before he died? Even the ghostly robes mini quest provides snippets of dialogue that suggests that Zaros had placed trust on a handful of people and only they were to commune with him. A change like that doesn't just happen overnight, but as Sy said, the second age is the one we know the least about so we still have a lot to learn.

Missing, Presumed Death
The only speculation I'm going to offer is this. I will be very surprised if the eclipse from Zanaris isn't the major event that precedes Zaros' return.

Now factor in thousands of hours of people's invested time - suddenly it's not that simple.Yet, I have just under 300 days of play time spread across ten years and I'd have no qualms with leaving the second I didn't find the game fun. The types of players that play despite hating either Jagex or certain types of content must either be narcicisstic or addicted. They can say they stick around because they still enjoy aspects of the game, but judging by forum posts here and on RSOF, people spend more time complaining than they do playing.- 25-September-2013 - Runescape Bonds
This is actually a really easy topic to address. Is RuneScape still a game you find fun? If yes, keep playing. If no, stop playing. It really is that simple.- Future Update Discussions
