  1. Except we know DoC is next week and we haven't even had the Divination part 2 video yet so I highly doubt that is true.
  2. A perfect example of people not knowing what they want and then not being happy when they do get what they think they want. OSRS is exactly what the EoC haters wanted. Both Jagex and OSRS supporters knew exactly what was going to happen. You don't like it? Tough. The amount of baseless conjecture and opinion construed as fact in this thread is laughable at best. *Insert popcorn gif here*
  3. With the exception of Demon Slayer, all of the reworks they've done to old quests have been top notch in my opinion. I really enjoyed both Ozan and Ariane's double quests.
  4. It's not available anymore. It was a limited time offer back in January.
  5. Probably won't be one due to RS3/BoL update.
  6. After killing one of the Zammy NPC's it said I was given the title, 'The Virtuous'. Is that what you're talking about?
  7. As far as I'm concerned right now with the info we have, I view Zaros as not too dissimilar to Guthix. When I say that, I mean it only in terms of how Zaros will behave on his return. He wants the world to run itself without any direct interference from the Gods, yet still step in through indirect means to subtly tip scales in whichever way is of most benefit. If Saradomin and Zamorak are two sides of the same coin, then I wouldn't be averse to saying Guthix and Zaros (as it stands now) share a similar relationship.
  8. Except Riptide was referencing the NIS, which was in a very long beta testing period. That isn't to say I really agree with him. NIS alpha & beta actually fixed a lot of game-breaking glitches, such as the time you could equip multiple armor pieces or something along those lines. There were a lot of small to medium sized updates released on a regular basis. What I have a slightly more difficult time understanding is why they didn't start out with known issues from the get-go. I'm sure there's some reason for it, but in all honesty it's not a big deal so long as the remaining little things (hi, "hide" global chat, clickthrough chatboxes, etc) are addressed soon. Edit: Well that explains the above question, heh! Even so, the amount of players that actually log into a Beta and actually play it for prolonged periods of time is minute in comparison to the live game. It's the reason why EoC was released so prematurely - people simply weren't logging into the Beta in high enough numbers, and even when they were, it was for irrelevant purposes.
  9. Basically what the above said. A lot of people fail to realise that a Beta is only tested internally by a handful of staff members. When you compare that to the tens of thousands of people that play the same content, it's unrealistic to expect it to run perfectly.
  10. I've said that the reason that I play in fixed is because I can not see the text in the game; it is too small. Much smaller than 12pt font by far. I zoom in 200%. And I was able to zoom in a nice 200% on the old fixed and see the WHOLE game window. It was, more or less, full screen. But now, they not only made the fixed screen size slightly bigger (before there were useless buttons at the top to open the site/forums), but the NIS leaves a lot of wasted space so much that even in the same amount of space, you SEE less of the game. A much easier solution would be to just get some glasses.
  11. Unsurprisingly, the only part of this update I cared about (BoL) is basically unplayable right now.
  12. This isn't repeatable.
  13. I doubt the colour of the portal is an indication of anything. Like I said before, the result of the battle will most likely decide what comes out of the portal.
  14. So basically we're going to decide which God will be next to return through the portal. Saradomin's already back, Zaros isn't represented by an NPC so I doubt he's an option, so it'll either be Bandos or Zamorak.
  15. TT is a pretty fun activity in Canifis. If you go to the NPC near the signpost near the Slayer Tower they'll explain it. Alternatively, you can just read up on it on the Runescape Wiki.
  16. I'm most looking forward to seeing Dragon Battleaxe being released out of that list.
  17. They can't really afford to hold RS3 back for much longer. One or two months like this is fine, but it's really starting to take it's toll on new content for the game. The announcement on Wednesday really needs to be a confirmation of RS3's release date.
  18. The Q&A on the RSOF has stated that the Vorago is a manifestation of the anima mundi.
  19. Yet when woox did it at the KK Jagex glorified him, then patched it  They still patched it though. The point is, they don't want people doing it, so when they find out that people are, they patch it. Whether Ambler is doing this for bug research or not, he shouldn't be even bothering with it. At the end of the day, it's intentional bug abuse. Jagex were arrogant enough to think that Woox couldn't beat KK's 1-hit k0, but he did. He did so by abusing a bug. Arrogant they were, but they were right to think so. It's intentionally an unavoidable attack, in the same way they intend for people to have to deal with ice prisons - not to glitch their way out of them. If Woox could have legitimately beaten the KK solo, then I'm sure he would have done it. Why bug abuse when it's not needed? Ambler doesn't seem to understand that he does NOT need to do this, instead he is consistently doing it. Bug abuse can be fun/entertaining - Bruno has done some pretty funny stuff in the past, but none of it has been abused to personal gain (publicly anyway). Obviously in some cases these funner glitches have been abused to personal gain, but Ambler is bug abusing for personal gain. That's the problem. So what you're saying is, Ambler shouldn't have reported the bug to Jagex so they can fix it? Clearly you're an advocate of bug abuse.
  20. I really hope this post is sarcasm.
  21. I wouldn't be surprised, or against them adding a monetary fee to use Lodestones. I don't think I've used more than a hundred Law Runes since the original update. There's nothing to say they can't add quest requirements to use certain lodestones either. The lodestone in Isafdar thing isn't really that big of a deal. I mean, we have charter ships that take you to Port Tyras for a negligible fee anyway.
  22. Finally no more running from MA to Ooglog and having my title forcibly changed in the process.
  23. Botting to 99 is one thing, but botting to 200m exp just baffles my mind as to why they do it.
  24. It's almost as if Jagex are annoyed that previously useless items and attacks have become useful.
