Screamo has been around longer than Enter Shikari, mate. @mEb/Skull Emblem, way to contribute. @Istolethepie, MY OPINION is that I don't like Post Hardcore that much, modern Post Hardcore anyway, and therefore I don't like the label Screamo- A genre I do like- being tainted by bands being classified as it, which arent. Maybe it's elitist but whatever, fact of the matter is, it's still putting things in the wrong genre, which is stupid anyway. And i called it bad screamo, not [cabbage] screamo. That's like calling Death Metal Screamo, since a lot of Death Metal and Grindcore bands use screamed vocals. They're from completely different musical roots- Metal and Punk, you wouldn't call Social Distortion metal, and you wouldn't call Deicide punk, it's the same concept.

These days the term 'Screamo' is misused so much, and to be fair, it irritates the [bleep] out of me. Bands such as Alexisonfire, BMTH, Alesana, and even Hawthorne Heights, are being labelled as Screamo, and quite frankly, they're further from Screamo than Britney Spears is. Real Screamo, is a genre that stemmed from Hardcore Punk and originated in the early 90s, with bands such as Orchid, Envy, and Saetia. This music has much more profound lyrics than the bands being labelled as Screamo these days, and the style is very different. The guitars tend to be chaotic, and the music usually progresses from slower riffs onwards to faster more dynamic, downtuned riffs. The thing that in my opinion, is most predominant in real Screamo, is the vocal style used. It tends to be very high shreiks and screams, and sometimes spoken vocals are used. The music being labelled as Screamo these days is very different. I don't see why people cry about botting, if JaGeX don't care about botters anymore, then that means you're all free to do it yourselves, so if someone is better than you because they botted, then just bot to be better than them, lol. I'm not encouraging anyone to bot and risk their account but if you're gonna complain, remember the option is open. As for the situation in general, if JaGeX remove botters, there will be an absolutely enormous inflation in the economy, so many people who bring is things like Dragon Bones and stuff are botters, and without them the price would go mad. Botting to sell money RWTing is kind of bad in my opinion, but for personal gain I'm totally for it.

I'm in an Indie Folk duet with my friend and for this reason I started writing lyrics, poetry and other forms of prose so I thought I'd share some. You're not improving yourself, you're improving a pixelated useless character, and in my opinion you have issues with yourself to make this topic, and should aim to fix yourself/improve yourself in real life and not in a game. Happily from the final paragraph I see you are kind of planning to do so by 'creating' things. Either way, the only valid point you made is the last one about the ability to create in Runescape, so I accept that, but I still think skilling's a load of crap. However if I go into that on here I'll get flamed and people will try and justify the hours of their life wasted on skilling, so yeah. Ad Hominem, to a degree - Don't try and say I'm not right in the head because my opinion differs from yours. It's not like I 'waste' my time playing this game - generally I play when I have barely anything I feel worth doing otherwise (eg: writing, playing music, 'socializing', working, going to school). To say I have issues, someone you know only through one work, is to make some really blind leaps in judgment that would seem to discredit your logic altogether. Not everyone's so damn selfish with what they do - seeing the people who agree with me only validates that this topic has value. Firstly, this is not a 'work', it's a forum thread, I would not class that as a work, and okay, then if you don't have issues, and you don't play Runescape much, I fail to see the reasoning for creating this topic in the first place. I never said you weren't right in the head. I merely stated that you obviously made this topic to justify your own playing on Runescape, no one else's, and therefore in my opinion it lacks value, and it must be for at least some personal reason. I am going to genuinely contribute to this topic now, as I am bored. OP, as much as I admire your interest in verbose prose and the English language, I believe you come across as pompous and pretentious with your topic. (In my opinion, at least). I also think that this whole topic is unecessary and completely for your own personal gain; to me it seems you are attempting to justify your playing of Runescape for some reason, and quite honestly, we don't care why you play. Perhaps you have been made upset by the opinions of other people, who don't play Runescape, or perhaps it's just some personal issues that have made you feel the need to make this topic. Either way, I fail to see the actual discussion value here, other than 'gratz u kno y u plai roonskapz lolz'. Also, I hasten to disagree with many of the points you make, however this is probably because I am a pker and not a skiller. Runescape in my opinion really shouldn't be a game where you work on your 'character' and 'escape from the real world'; rather, a game to play for fun.
